A great place to stay right in Dapeng Fortress if you want to experience staying in an actual historical house. We really enjoyed our 2 nights' stay at Buyan Inn.
The host, Tony was very friendly and helpful and speaks excellent English. We managed to contact him through Wechat about our arrival and he walked out to meet us to show us the way to the inn when we arrived by DiDi. The inn is in the old Town but just a 1 minute walk out so it was very convenient for foreign travellers who don't have their own transportation.
Buyan Inn also has a restaurant. We tried the barbecue and it was delicious.
There are many snack shops in the old Town. We also wanted to try some traditional food and found a traditional restaurant where the locals go to for meals just outside the old Town, a few minutes' walk from Buyan inn.
All in all, we had a very memorable stay in Buyan Inn.

It's a good experience. It's like a country house in a Sanheyuan. It really makes people feel like they were in ancient times. There is a bar inside that provides drinks. The surrounding scenery and atmosphere are good. After visiting the ancient city, children can stroll on the beach and enjoy the sunset, which can relax their mood. A joy.
