This was my first time booking the Grand Mercure (Guangming) through Ctrip, and the package deal was incredibly affordable – less than 1,000 RMB for a stay including breakfast and dinner for two.
The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a stone's throw from Fenghuangcheng Metro Station. Simply take Exit D, and after a short walk and an escalator ride, you're there in minutes. This makes commuting within the city or exploring nearby areas incredibly convenient. There are also direct buses to the airport and Hong Kong right next to the hotel, making travel for tight schedules or leisurely trips completely hassle-free, with no need to worry about planning routes. Furthermore, Wanda Plaza and Blue Whale World are within easy reach, offering a one-stop solution for shopping, dining, and movies. Staying here truly is super convenient. These advantages were precisely why I chose this hotel for my visit.
My only disappointment this time was being assigned room 110x. Despite specifically requesting a room away from the elevator in my booking, I was given a room right as you step out of the lift. This clearly indicates that the hotel does not prioritize guest requests, and I strongly advise them to address this customer service oversight for future improvement.
On the day of check-in, there was a queue at the front desk due to many arrivals. However, the front desk staff were exceptionally efficient, clearing the line in under 5 minutes. Their speed and professionalism are truly commendable.
The room facilities were also very good. The twin beds were comfortable, and the room itself was spacious. Comprehensive amenities such as a bath cap, amenity kit, shaver, body lotion, and conditioner were all provided. The room featured a large sofa, a writing desk, and offered stunning, unobstructed views from the window. The air conditioning was also pleasantly quiet.
There was a slight hiccup regarding seating arrangements at the buffet. On that particular evening, the restaurant was exceptionally busy with many diners, including a large tour group from Hong Kong, leading to a shortage of available tables. As I had pre-booked my table through Ctrip customer service the day before, I expected no issues. After a brief delay, I contacted Ctrip to help resolve the situation. Fortunately, the on-duty Ctrip customer service representative swiftly intervened and contacted the restaurant's manager, Jiajia, who promptly assisted. The misunderstanding was smoothly resolved.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Ctrip staff and the restaurant manager, Jiajia, for their professional and fair handling of the situation, which led to a satisfactory resolution.
In summary, the hotel's hardware and facilities are undeniably excellent. However, there are still some areas for improvement concerning certain staff members, whose customer service attitude sometimes appears inexperienced, self-important, and in need of further training and development.
The delivery robot was so cute and smart, the front desk staff was very helpful, and the environment was quiet.
We had breakfast in the revolving restaurant, where we could enjoy the 360-degree views.
There's a large shopping mall nearby for shopping and dining.
The room was spacious and clean, the amenities were high-quality, and the hotel decor was elegant.
This hotel, newly opened this year, offers a fantastic ambiance. The housekeeping was incredibly meticulous, ensuring every corner was spotless. The Wi-Fi signal was strong, allowing for seamless video streaming without any buffering, truly creating a 'home away from home' experience. The breakfast was also very generous and varied. All in all, a stay that perfectly met my expectations.
The scenery is very good. There is a park downstairs. Wanda and Blue Whale Shopping Center are just a few minutes' walk away. The room facilities are very new and spacious! The breakfast variety is not too much, but it can meet the needs of Chinese and Western food.

We enjoyed our stay at Shenzhen Futian Sushan Hotel. The beds are very comfortable and the room was clean! We only gave them 4/5 for the cleanliness due to a strong smell of sewer in the bathroom.
The location is great, just 3 blocks away from Shenzhen metro station!
The entrance is a bit unclear, for reference, that's the entry door of the hotel.
The service was also great: we made a reservation for 3 people and on trip.com there was a gift for just people. They added themselves for free the third cup of coconut milk coffee from Luckin Coffee!

The hotel room is very large, with a living room area. It is not far from the commercial area and can be reached on foot. Because I want to go to Futian Station to take the high-speed rail, it is very close to the station. There is a subway station entrance outside the door. I can walk to the high-speed rail station directly according to the signs. It is very convenient. I will choose it again next time if I have the chance.

The hotel is in a very business area of Futian so the daytime is very busy but thankfully in the evening and weekends it’s super quiet, no loud noise or cars beeping and you can sleep well. It is a 2 minute walk to the metro and because it is practically in the middle of Shenzhen you can get to most places with ease. It’ is a very “young” hotel in that it’s kinda cool, chill and modern and the staff are also like this but don’t let that put you off. They are young but very eager to help and engaging, and even though the hotel is primarily aimed for Chinese tourists/guests the younger staff ( the older man didn’t seem as keen to engage) will happily try their best with their English and we all managed to clearly understand each other with our translation apps, so it was not a problem.
The rooms are huge with a free soft drink minibar the room has smart technology and you can turn off/on the lights, open the blinds, turn on/off AC with the table side tablet and of like most Chinese hotels you have that cute little robot delivering your food, etc. you even get complimentary noodles in the evening, but most of all NO CIGARETTES SMELL! Which is very common in China!
I stayed at the UrCove in Shanghai and I had to check out early because the smell of cigarettes was too much in the hallway and coming through the vents but not once did I smell that here so this reason alone makes this hotel perfect for me

An absolutely fantastic stay! Shangri-La, as always, never disappoints. We even experienced a typhoon during our visit, but the hotel's excellent arrangements turned what could have been a disruption into an interesting experience. Despite our flight being cancelled, it unexpectedly became a rare day of relaxation.
My only minor caveat would be the food at the Horizon Club. It could definitely be fresher; it felt like reheated leftovers from the breakfast/lunch buffets. The stir-fried dishes, in particular, completely lacked their proper flavor. A small disappointment.

Who says a weekend getaway has to take you far away? At Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Wuzhou, I discovered the ultimate urban escape. Mornings were for soaking up the sun by the pool, afternoons for unwinding with a coffee and a good book in the Executive Lounge, and evenings for a leisurely dinner at the restaurant. And the bed in my guest room was so incredibly comfortable, I barely wanted to leave it! The service team was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive, almost like friends. A special shout-out to Joy, Patrick, and Rina at the front desk, who were always responsive to every request yet never intrusive. This perfect blend of care and discretion was a huge bonus! A truly perfect weekend, achieved!

From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help. My room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. I especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities and attention to detail throughout the hotel. The location was perfect — close to everything I needed, shopping malls, subway entry yet peaceful and quiet at night. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable experience.
