Checked in today with my wife and son, we were welcomed by the reception team, the room was ready before the check in time which was good, yet once we received the room, there was one bathsheet and one face towel only although we are three in the room according to our booking, the sachet shampoo was open and the hand soap sachet was and still crumbled, the cupboard door was and still detached until now, and the TV remote was not working and the housekeeping team had to change the remote twice, duvet cover and pillow covers were dirty and housekeeping had to change it, mini bar dirty and has too much ice, all pictures attached. I have shared the full feedback and pictures to the Travel Agency and few members of the hotel team, as an experienced hotelier in international chains in different Middle Eastern and Asians countries this room clearly was out of order and just given to me as an Egyptian, we came to the hotel based on the reviews but it is clearly that they give priority to the expats, if you guys think the room rate is low please don't accept people bookings and ruin their vacations or simply provide a clean room. I knew very well that I've booked three stars hotels and this to invest more in activities and sat my expectations according to this, just need a proper accommodation to sleep since we will be outside almost all day yet the hotel did not meet the basic standard. The sad thing I've met and contacted the activities in charge and agreed to text him on WhatsApp to prepare activities itenary during our stay (revenue for the hotel) he just replied to me by saying (tamam) I've shared this with the travel agency as well who thankfully arranged the activities for me. I came here with my expat wife and son to have a good time yet service here is disappointing.
