There’s not enough staff to help you carried the luggage because we have elderly. Staff solve the problem by give us breakfast but when we checked out still the same, no staff to help us carried the luggage to the car. If you have more than 2 luggages and heavy just try your best 🙂

Had a wonderful experience at IU Hotel Shangri-la Dukezong. Room was spacious, very modern and clean, with all mod cons provided. It looks exactly like the photos provided on the website. Breakfast was filling, with a satisfying selection of western and local fares. Was abit apprehensive about the altitude of Shangri-la but turned out fine, just walked slower and don't rush. Discovered only on my second night that Dukezong ancient town was a very doable direct straight line 1.2km walk from the road in front of the hotel. Look for Cangfang Street on Google maps and Yueguang Plaza, that's the centre of Dukezong ancient town. There are some supermarkets and convenience shops around the main road, plus some local diners which have good food. All in, will choose to stay here again. Shangri-la is a beautiful place

Very good hotel, manager was very hospitable. Front desk very friendly (she gave me a free oxygen canister, and there is washing machine and dryer, oxygen in the room, and heat. Front desk is available 24/7, and you can ask for refills of TP, bottled water.

We booked two rooms, each of which was comfortable and quiet! Although it was minus 10 degrees outside, the floor heating in the room was powerful, and it was hot enough to take off your clothes! The hotel is in a great location, and it is very convenient to travel to the scenic spots. If you come to Dukezong to play, stay here!

Brand hotel, facilities and equipment are of standard brand, guest room supplies are new, shower water is large and hot, very comfortable, breakfast is the richest one of the same brand we have eaten so far, high cost performance.

Moreover, the hotel is conveniently located, close to Dukezong Ancient City, and convenient for travel and shopping around. The breakfast is even more rich and varied, meeting the needs of different tastes. The details are full of care, and high-quality service is everywhere, with a great price-performance ratio. I have lived in Canada🇨🇦 for many years. This time I came back to China to travel to Yunnan. I stayed at Shangri-La's IU Hotel 4.0 Dukezong Ancient City Branch, which was the most satisfactory hotel. The hotel temperature is maintained at 22-25 degrees Celsius. It is equipped with a humidifier, a gym and a laundry room. The free parking lot is also convenient. It is very close to the ancient city. The front desk of the hotel is a ******* guy who serves very enthusiastically❤️. Thumbs up for the prosperity of the motherland and the IU Hotel in Jinjiang👍

The hotel is brand new, very clean and tidy; it is equipped with 4.0 version of smart facilities, warm and comfortable; because it is located in a high altitude area, it is equipped with oxygen supply, humidification and geothermal heating, which is a good stay experience; the boss is very nice, personally arranged the pick-up station, and helped to contact the surrounding tourism matters, making people feel at home! This is a newly opened hotel in 2024. The room is spacious and bright, with windows that can be opened. Friends who feel uncomfortable with the room being heated too much can choose to open the windows to circulate the air. There is also a humidifier. It is close to the ancient city of Shangri-La. It takes about 15 minutes to walk there. Breakfast is provided, but the temperature is generally not adjusted to keep it warm, which slightly affects the quality!
