The owners were the friendliest couple we have met on this trip. They were very helpful and always checking that we were comfortable. This minsu was beautiful with all the modern amenities. The shower room also comes with a heat fan! We were upgraded and enjoyed the bigger space. The beds were very comfortable. The minsu is just a 8 minutes walk to one end of the old town or 20mins walk to the main gate. There was a bus stop just 5 mins walk from the minsu where one can take bus to napahai and songling temple. We will definitely book again if we return

Love the bed and blanket this hotel provides! Very comfortable. The staff here are friendly - you can have tea and chit-chat with them. They have a v cute dog 来财 as well!

The place was a few hundred meters from the old town. The 民宿 owners were extremely hospitable and friendly. First they came to pick us up from the station, upon arrival, as our room was on the 3rd floor, they carried our luggage all the way up for us. The room was spacious, clean and all amenities provided for. The room came with oxygen supply, heated floor and sky roof where we could glance out to see the stars. They advised us on all the do and don't when in high altitude places. When we came back freezing cold at night, they even brought up hot milk to help warm us up. Overall, we had a very good stay here. We would stay here again if we ever come back to Shangri-la.

location is within walking distance (5-10 minutes walk) to the ancient city. room is well renovated and extremely clean. had smart facilities as well~ owner is really nice and offered us hot tea and hot milk! wonderful stay

I booked this room for my uncle and aunt. They’re so happy. The room is excellent, the location is good, and the service is superb. I recommend staying at this hotel.

Room got a big space with 1 queen & 1 king bed size. Floor heating was good, a very big help after come back from cold weather outside. Warm sleep even too warmth 😅. Owner was very friendly, she helps us to carry luggages up to 2nd floor. Warm milk provided at night. Restaurant nearby and easy to get into an old town with walking distance.

Hotel is newly renovated but have leaks in the bathroom. The road outside is under construction and very dusty, however the lady boss is nice. Walking distance to old town.

The host is extremely kind, helpful and cheerful. The room is large but warm with floor heating and very well-equipped. The toilet has modern sensor system which we were very impressed with Xie xie jie jie! 主人非常友善、乐于助人且开朗。房间很大，但很温暖，配有地暖，设施齐全。厕所配有现代感应系统，给我们留下了深刻的印象。

Location wise is great. Owner is kind. Everything is great!

Excellent services from the lady boss who provided us with extra heater as we were not used to the level of coldness -10 degree at night. She also gave us snack and information/tips for the trip. Location is convenient and walking distance to old town

Hotel located not far from train station. Nice and clean hotel. Didi drop off just in front of the hotel. Walking 400m to old town looks tiring altho it is just flat road not uphill but didi is easily available. Halal restaurant just next door to hotel. Staff was bery friendly and always ready to serve. Room is high technology equipped

The owner is so nice and enthusiastic! She picked us up at the station and quick at response to any questions. The room is big and clean. The bed is confortable. All amentities are readily available. It’s not far from the old town, around 10 mins walk. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

I enjoyed my stay at this guest house. It is just on the edge of the ancient town with a small supermarket directly across the street where you may buy snacks, fruit, beverages, etc. There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. Taxis and DiDi may also pick up/drop off directly in front of the building. I used translation apps + WeChat to communicate with the family who owns the guest house as I don't speak Mandarin. They were very kind to pick me up at the train station, assist with doing some laundry and answering any questions I had about the area. I'd recommend this property to anyone traveling to Shangri-la.
