Shanghai Minhang District 5-star Hotels

We were very disappointed in this hotel. We booked a little staycation so we could get away and enjoy some time by the pool. There’s a massive catwalk built over the pool and the water depth didn’t even get up to my knees. The staff were amazing though, very friendly and helpful.

## Amazing Stay at Sofitel Shanghai My stay at Sofitel Shanghai was fantastic, and Ellie, my ‘butler’, made it even better. She was always quick to help, whether it was fixing a small room issue or giving recommendations for dinner. Her kindness and efficiency stood out. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious rooms, a great gym, and a relaxing pool. The breakfast was a highlight—so many options, from fresh pastries to local dishes. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile. I’d definitely stay here again—thanks to Ellie and the team for such a great experience!

Very lovely hotel, with food and supermarket options within a 10min walk. Decent breakfast selection of both western and Asian. Very friendly staff who try their best to speak in English as well.

A few things to say. This was my second stay this hotel, and this time I am glad I haven’t had my family with me. 1. COLD ROOM The room was so cold, even though I tried to adjust the temperature with the A/C it felt like the big glass closed window isn’t properly sealed and cold air from outside was entering the room. 2. LANGUAGE PROBLEMS. I know I am china, but if you work in hotel, special hotel chains and have a regular number of international guests, you should be able to speak a certain english level. I had issue during my check in, and questions that they couldn’t answer me, and also gave me wrong information. 3. BREAKFAST, ok, but could be better!

One of the best hotel in Shanghai. Very comfortable and especially the bed is amazing. Breakfast and welcoming fruit is also great. Highly recommended.

The location is very convenient—just a 10-minute walk to the railroad station. The place is very clean, and the facilities are more than sufficient. I accidentally left my earphones in the room, but after calling them, I got them back quickly. They were very reliable, and I really appreciated their help.

I booked it for my friend in India. It's very close to the National Convention and Exhibition Center and there is a shuttle bus. The room is comfortable and I'm very satisfied. Especially the front desk staff, Harry Li, provided enthusiastic and thoughtful service, helping us with invoicing, hailing taxis, and purchasing food. The hotel is just amazing. Located not far from hongqiao airport and railstation. Very convenient with a lot of restaurant and shop nearby. The staff is also very polite and helpful, especially Sally who checked me in and out, she was lovely, enthusiastic and competent. Will book again for my next stay in ShangHai Room 715

I took My son visited China last week, since our friend have a house nearby so we choose this hotel, initially we booked for 3 nights, planed moved to city center after some gathering with friends, but we renewed the rest of our stay in shanghai here, really enjoyed the service and facility, from front desk, door man to house keeping , restaurant employee, everyone isjust so nice and kind, you can tell they are just doing a great job from bottom of their hearts. ❤️

The hotel is conveniently located near Hongqiao Airport and the Hongqiao High-Speed Railway Station, making it easy to travel. It takes only 20 minutes to reach the National Exhibition and Convention Center. The rooms are clean and tidy with complete facilities that are well-maintained. Building No.2 has a good environment, and the rooms are equipped with large bathtubs, which are very suitable for relaxation. In terms of service quality: the front desk service is enthusiastic, the staff are professional, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. There are also many dining options in the vicinity.
