Overall, the room offered excellent value for money. I really liked the charming retro decor – it's clear a lot of care went into the design. Having a smart toilet, a kitchenette, and a washing machine made it feel very well-equipped for longer stays. The breakfast was a definite highlight; it used high-quality ingredients, offered a great mix of Chinese and Western options, and they even focus on sustainability, which is a nice touch. The staff were also very friendly and provided great service. On the downside, there was a noticeable musty smell in the room, which was quite strong. We also spotted a few minor cleanliness issues, like dirty windows that made it hard to clearly enjoy the view outside. Lastly, the shower pressure was quite weak.

The room was well-appointed and impeccably clean. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the staff and manager warmly welcomed me and helped with my luggage. A standout feature is their complimentary shuttle service to Disneyland, the airport, and the high-speed rail station. Exploring on my own was also very convenient, with the subway entrance just a short 400-meter walk away. All in all, I felt completely at ease and comfortable, and the hotel had a very upscale feel. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip!

I was on a business trip to Shanghai during the Qixi Festival. I've always had a great impression of Hilton hotels from my previous stays abroad – their design, quality control, and hygiene are consistently excellent. So, when I saw this newly opened Hilton in the city center nearby, I immediately booked it. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. As soon as I arrived, the doorman proactively opened the car door and helped with my luggage. The doormen were consistently observant and attentive whenever I entered or exited, providing seamless and unobtrusive service. The lobby had a pleasant fragrance, and the decor had a very 'Shanghai' feel – stylish, grand, and chic, featuring a magnificent spiral staircase and a statue of Venus. Many couples were taking photos in the lobby. I had originally booked a King room, but due to Qixi Festival, the front desk upgraded me to a quieter Twin room on the executive floor, and they also included complimentary breakfast. I had planned to try some local Shanghai breakfast specialties nearby, but I ended up having breakfast at the hotel instead. In addition to the standard Western hotel options, they also offered Shanghai specialties like large wontons, pan-fried dumplings, and savory soy milk. In the morning, there was also a Caucasian chef greeting guests at the entrance, likely from the hotel's Italian restaurant. The breakfast environment was very nice, though it did get a bit crowded sometimes with queues, and the layout for circulation was a bit disorganized. Overall, it was still very good. The room had a very stylish design. It featured a three-way dry/wet separation in the bathroom, and the toilet was a smart toilet with a remote control, which was very convenient. I was pleasantly surprised by the room's layout; where I expected mirrors, there weren't any, and where I didn't expect them, they were placed. This made the entire space feel very open and gave the design a fresh, innovative feel. The window offered city views, and I could see landmarks like Riyueguang Plaza and the Shanghai World Financial Center. It was perfect for watching the clouds drift by and simply unwinding. I made sure to go for a swim, and the pool was also quite good. The hotel's location is excellent, right in a central area. In the evening, I took a stroll to the Wukang Building and walked back along Huashan Road. The entire route was perfect for a city walk. Choosing this hotel for my Shanghai trip was a great decision, and it made my stay very comfortable. Wishing the hotel continued success!

I chose this hotel for my business trip, and the experience far surpassed my expectations – I can't recommend it highly enough! The front desk was incredibly efficient during check-in, completing the entire process in just a few minutes. There was a minor hiccup with my reimbursement invoice, but they promptly resolved it for me, perfectly catering to my business needs. The bedding was comfortably soft, allowing me to quickly relax and fall asleep after a busy workday and wake up refreshed the next morning. The breakfast selection was rich and well-balanced, with hot items consistently available, which saved me a lot of time. The hotel's location is also very convenient, and the restaurant on the second floor serves great food. This hotel will definitely be my top choice for my next business trip to this city!

This was my second stay here, and it was wonderful! The newly opened Aeon Mall is right next door, making dining and strolling incredibly convenient. During check-in, Nana and Bruce at the front desk were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and very helpful, showing excellent attitudes throughout. We were two adults and one child, and although our booking included only one breakfast, they generously provided an additional one for free, which was a really thoughtful gesture. We received a complimentary upgrade to a spacious deluxe room. The room was spotlessly clean, and they even delivered children's toiletries directly to our room – a lovely touch! The breakfast spread was fantastic and plentiful, and our child absolutely loved it! We're already looking forward to our next visit!

I had a one-day staycation for National Day. I spent the week before the holiday searching for a hotel and was overwhelmed by the options available in Shanghai. Even the most expensive hotels often have discerning guests who are dissatisfied. I felt anxious after looking so much, so I finally followed my instinct and chose CHAO. I had been to Shanghai Film City many times before, but I hadn't realized there was a hotel behind it. The hotel just opened this year, and the interior is brand new. Inspired by the film ”Seventy-Two Tenants,” it has 72 rooms, each simply named with numbers. This led to numbers like 14, 44, and 13, which are often considered auspicious in Chinese and Western folklore. The staff initially assigned me room 13, but I didn't like it. I asked if I could choose the lucky number 28, but was told it wasn't possible because it was a more expensive suite with a significant price difference. I was then assigned room 25, which wasn't a good number either (at least it was 25, not 250...), but I didn't want to embarrass the staff, so I agreed. The staff said I could ask for a lucky number card at the front desk before checking out the next day. When I checked out today, no one at the front desk mentioned this, so I gave up. I was quite satisfied with the room itself. There was a takeout stand outside the door, so the staff could bring food upstairs without leaving it on the floor. The 2-meter king-size bed was soft and comfortable, making it a relaxing place to watch a movie. The mini bar had a large bottle of Evian water, and there were drinks like sugary cola, sugar-free cola, sugary soda, sugar-free soda, juice, and oat milk. I hope they'll stock up on milk in the future. I can't get an oat latte, but I love lattes, and seeing the capsule coffee machine, I was disappointed I couldn't make my own. Thankfully, they also had tea capsules, and the hot Lanxiang oolong I made with the machine was delicious and perfectly heated. The welcome dessert was spotless; the korma, nut tart, and snowflake crisps were all delicious. The bathroom, shower, and bath were separated, and the toilet temperature, showerhead water flow, and bathroom drainage were all impeccable. The only problem was a stubborn black stain on the wall below the sink next to the toilet. I wiped it, and it looked like a mildew stain, not a stain I hadn't cleaned properly. I hope the hotel can find a way to clean it up. The bathroom was fully stocked with amenities. Besides the standard toothbrush, comb, and shower cap, they thoughtfully provided a small bottle of mouthwash, dental floss, and cotton swabs. A housekeeper provided turndown service, setting out cups and slippers, and even gave us two extra bottles of Evian (which came in handy the next day on the City Walk). The semi-buffet breakfast, which lasted until 2 PM, was a key reason I chose CHAO. For those who prefer not to wake up early, brunch is a real relief. There were three all-you-can-eat menus in Chinese, Japanese, and English, each with a perfectly balanced portion and delicious flavor. I highly recommend the Jianbing (Chinese and English)! The restaurant staff was also very helpful, always clearing away empty plates. Due to time constraints, I didn't explore the public areas like the gym or library. We'll see you there someday.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by receptionist Aubrey Jin, who was extremely friendly, careful, and patient. The location is excellent—just a short distance from the train station and Hongqiao International Airport, making it very convenient for travelers. The hotel staff is multilingual, which made communication smooth and easy. My room was spotless, well-maintained, and met high international standards, while also offering a touch of oriental hospitality that made the experience feel both professional and culturally rich. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers!

My friends in China recommended this hotel and told me that she loves it because it’s relatively inexpensive compared to similar hotels in the area. She also stressed that it is a native Chinese brand hotel that it is easier for her to order food and just anything she needs. I was pleasantly surprised by its decor, service, cleanliness and modern amenities. Our room had a nice big tub, huge shower and toilet with bidet. It’s been a while since I visited Japan and I forgot how nice to have a bidet. The breakfast was a nice addition to our stay since it is included. It served both Chinese and American breakfast with some nice local dishes. The decor is modern Chinese Jiangnan style featuring paintings, Calligraphy, and 3-D animation of gold fishes. I enjoyed working out at the gym as well. Super clean and all equipment are easy to use. There is a Pilate room as well. I didn’t have time to enjoy it. The staff are friendly and helpful. Not to mention that I asked for a power cord, it was delivered by a robot. Five star experience! .

DDanzisebingtangOn my recent trip to Shanghai, I chose to stay at the Hyatt Centric Shanghai Zhongshan Park, and overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. First and foremost, I have to commend the hotel's location – it's incredibly convenient! It's just a few minutes' walk from the metro station. Whether you're heading to popular attractions like The Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street or exploring other commercial districts, taking the metro is super easy. We didn't have to waste much time on transportation, which was perfect for us, as we prefer efficient travel. Moreover, the hotel facilities are exceptionally new. Stepping into the lobby, everything felt fresh and clean, with a modern and elegant decor. The furniture and appliances in the room were also brand new, and the cleanliness was impeccable, making for a truly comfortable stay. What's more, there's a wide array of dining options around the hotel. The variety of food available for delivery is incredible, so whether you're craving a full meal or just some snacks, you'll easily find something to satisfy you. Even when we didn't feel like stepping out, we could still enjoy great food. The biggest surprise for me was the hotel's Chinese buffet, specifically the Shanghai cuisine – the flavors were absolutely divine! The local-style Braised Pork Belly (Hongshao Rou) was perfectly fatty yet not greasy, literally melting in my mouth, and its rich sauce was fantastic with rice. The Stir-fried Eel (Xiangyou Shanhua) had a wonderfully tender texture and was seasoned just right, bursting with authentic Shanghai flavors. There were also several other distinctive Shanghai appetizers, each one so authentic and satisfying. I felt like the buffet alone was worth every penny, and I highly recommend everyone to give it a try! However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The room felt a little on the small side, especially when I had a lot of luggage, it became a bit cramped. Also, there was no bathtub in the room, which was less convenient if I wanted to relax with a soak. But all things considered, the hotel offers excellent value for money. Given its fantastic location, new facilities, and superb dining, these small shortcomings are completely acceptable.

CChenxiaojieyouxinqingThe 25th-floor lobby was impressive with powerful air conditioning. However, a faint sour odor lingered in the air. The elevators to the upper floors were very smooth but lacked air conditioning. Breakfast on the 26th floor was split into Chinese and Western sections. The food stations were quite spread out. The Western section had good AC, but the Chinese section was uncomfortably hot due to insufficient cooling. We stayed in room 4901. The view was excellent, but the bedding was very ordinary, and there was noticeable dust. The main issues were: 1. The air conditioner was incredibly noisy. 2. Its cooling performance was completely inadequate. I'm unsure if this was due to a fixed thermostat setting or a system restriction, but I woke up twice during the night because of the heat. (We called maintenance around 2 AM, and after some adjustment, it was slightly better... A fan was requested and delivered around 3 AM). This is how my child and I ended up enduring a noisy and hot stay in what's supposedly a five-star hotel. Regarding service, despite making several calls during the night, there was no follow-up from staff whatsoever. This lack of proactivity and communication feels quite outdated in today's hospitality industry, indicating a clear lack of handover between shifts.

Ccloverqi13The hotel staff were incredibly proactive, always asking about guests' needs and doing their best to accommodate them. The location is excellent; it's easy to catch a taxi, and the surrounding area is perfect for walks, dining, and exploring. Plus, having a convenience store downstairs was incredibly convenient. We received a complimentary room upgrade, and it was very spacious. I especially loved the expansive and unobstructed view of Longemont. Due to time constraints this trip, I also tried their in-room business meal package, which was a great experience and very cost-effective. For a star-rated hotel at this price, it offers excellent value for money in the area. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future, and I hope they maintain their high standards.

GGuest UserI won the lottery of Shanghai Tour and booked a basic room to visit Xijiao Hotel. It was quite beyond my expectation. I thought that the facilities of the state guesthouses with a long history would be old, but Xijiao Hotel seemed to have been renovated a few years ago, so the basic room was not bad. Every night, 5 large wontons and freshly squeezed orange juice were delivered to each person, and there was a small robot delivering orange juice. The children were very curious. The whole hotel is very, very, very big. I heard it was big before, but I didn’t expect it to be so big. It takes 1km to walk from the main building to the children’s playground in the sports center, including the swimming pool. I had to give up swimming, otherwise it would feel very cold when I returned to the room. Hotel accommodation can visit the garden including the pavilion in the center of the lake, and enter by swiping a card, but I have a suggestion. When I went there in the afternoon, there were people without room cards waiting at the door to pick up the leak. There were also people without room cards in the garden who couldn’t get out. We went there like the waiter opened the door for them, and there was no staff watching. This situation will definitely happen. Maybe it’s a gray area that turns a blind eye. The garden is really very, very beautiful. You can visit it for an hour or two. The children like it very much. I will come again next time.
