It is very near to the Bund and other attractions. Easy accessible. Close to East Nanjing Road metro station. Clean and no smell. The hotel is decent and comfortable. Toilet area is small. AC remote is in Chinese, I need to translate, but it still requires patience. Morning Breakfast has to be improved. I recommend this hotel due to the nearby attractions and reasonable price. Check many websites to get a good deal.

The room has a low ceiling. The ceiling is dirty, as if water has leaked from the roof. It smells bad. It was really uncomfortable. The service is poor.

Housemaid didnt clean the room throughout our stay. But good thing is there’s unlimited bottle of water to grab at the reception desk

Hotel was nice enough and in a great location, but obviously a bit older. No lift up to the upper floors so you have to carry your bags up from the street, and then from reception (or to reception on 12th floor) to your room. Wasn’t a fan of the breakfast - was a set pack each morning - and with food allergies I couldn’t check what it was so threw most in the bin each day. There is no sign on the front of the building, but is one above the lift (in Chinese).

We do not recommend going to this hotel. The rooms smell bad. We were shown 3 rooms. All of which had a smell of pee. After choosing the one with least smell we ended up canceling after one night. The facility is in our opinion not suitible for a hotel until the pipes are renovated. The staff was helpful and the location is good.

The worst breakfast of any hotel I’ve ever been. The hotel is really hard to find, just one floor of a building. Poor service and facilities. Avoid.

Perfect location, super close to Nanjing road and the Bund! Small hotel on the 12th floor, some rooms were under maintenance so there was some boxes in the common area, but the next day everything was clean. Basic amenities as slippers, clean towel and packed breakfast are included. Really enjoy the view from the hotel

The hotel is placed in the best location in Shanghai, just by walking around it you will be able to see all great tourist spots. The room was nice, the beds were big and comfortable, and also the hotel workers were very helpful and we were able to leave our luggage for a few hours after the check-out. Also, the view is magnificent! Totally recommend this hotel for anyone who is traveling for the first time.

We had a pleasant stay at Hanting Hotel (Shanghai Bund Jiujiang Road). The room was nice and clean, small but cozy and comfortable. We had a really good sleep. The highlight of this hotel was the location. It was ideal, it was just located a few minutes away from The Bund which was very convenient. The lobby is on the 12th floor so it can be a bit difficult to find the right building. You just need to take the lift and go upstairs. The only drawback was the breakfast. All the food was packed in small plastic bags. If they provide a better breakfast they will have better rates. Apart from that, we had a really nice time there. If you are looking for a hotel close to The Bund, Hanting hotel might be a nice choice for your trip.
