I did a little staycation at this hotel. Really cool place, my room was beautiful and the bed was great. The food in the restaurant downstairs was also top notch. Modern and classy with a convenient location in the Jing'an Temple area. I highly recommend.

I stay in this hostel every time I come to Shanghai. The concierge is very helpful. All of them are well trained and with full attention to detail. Very considerate staff and can easily adjust booking arrangements on the spot. There are plenty of restaurants around the area. A bit far to walk to the closest train station, but overall, The Bund and People's Square are a 10-15 minute ride by taxi.

It is a newly opened youth hostel. It feels like the ceiling of Shanghai youth hostels. Location: It is near Nanjing West Road Station, a few minutes' walk away, and next to it are the lively Wujiang Road and Nanjing West Road CBD. Environment: It is on the third floor of an old-fashioned western-style building. Because it shares an elevator with the hot pot restaurant on the first floor, the entrance is not easy to find, and the elevator is a bit dirty, but there is a different world when you get out of the elevator! Although the lobby is not big, it has a lot of feeling. The study area, activity area and a small terrace give you a youth hostel feeling. Atmosphere: It is quite diverse and vibrant. In addition to young people in China, there are also many tourists from other countries. The age group is mainly young people, and there are also a few guests of other ages. The staff are very enthusiastic and will organize game exchanges. In particular, a long-haired boy is very impressive. He will smile and signal when he sees you. He is also very active in organizing some activities for guests in the lobby. It is very warm. Facilities: Very new and complete, separate sanitary bathing for men and women, toilets are all toilets, and they are all smart toilets! Shampoo, shower gel and toilet paper are provided. There are washing machines and dryers in each bathroom. There is a relatively large locker in the room, the bed is very sturdy and stable, and there is no noise. The bedding is pre-made by the aunt, which is very convenient. Plastic slippers are provided, and there is a power socket and USB charging port on the bed. Sleep: The quality of the guests is good, there is no noise in the room, it was a bit difficult to fall asleep at the beginning of the night, but I fell asleep in a daze, and then I slept very well! The quality of the bedding should also be good, and it seems that there are no long-term guests. The overall experience is very good! Recommended! If you have to nitpick, it may be that the bed does not have a folding table, and it is better to add a water-blocking curtain to the place where clothes are hung in the shower cubicle, haha. In addition, it would be even better if there was a communication group for guests.

Room clean but a bit inconvenient to carry the luggage to upstairs. The response from owner very well.easy to be contacted by using WeChat. I want to complain the kettle not so well to be used, she instantly give me a new one and 12 bottles of water. Thanks. Only not so good for me who like to order delivery of food. During night, it’s inconvenient to be delivered

So fun. The entire place is themed like a movie theatre, and a great way to make low rise hotels work well. You’ll be on floor 2 or 3 - that’s it. But the rooms are great and the design is really fun. Projector works well, and the wall is actually covered with a proper reflective ‘silver screen’ for movie use. Projector has fairly loud fan to keep it cool so you’ll want the action movie volume up - soundproofing is actually good between rooms.

the most comfortable hotel and smart room , from bedroom, toilet, food, and all the staff very kind and help, from front staff, cleaning staff and others. surely I will come back also suggest friends and other families to stay here whenever have holiday in SH. please prepare front Staff who is able speak english. guest should maintenance your own cleanliness, otherwise they only help tidy up

Bvlgari Unable to travel over the festive season, I decided to treat myself to a few days in a local hotel. What other choice was there, other than the Bvlgari? Prior to my arrival I received a call from the hotel. They confirmed my arrival time, made dinner reservations for me, added me to WeChat and offered me any other help that I required. Upon arrival I was greeted by Eva. She checked me in and immediately offered me a late check out time of 14:00. This was extended further on the final day to 16:00. Fantastic! More time to relax by the pool and in the sauna. Having checked me in, Eva gave me a tour of the property. The Bvlgari is stunning!From the stylish restoration of the Chamber of Commerce building to the sleek, modern interior of the main building. The Bvlgari is located in an excellent position by Suzhou Creek. It offers dazzling views of Lujiazui , the Huangpu River and the rear of The Bund. Perhaps one of the best views in the city. Of course, the room was magnificent. Huge TV, super comfortable bed, walk-in wardrobe and a wide selection of drinks and snacks, most of which were complimentary. I especially thought the pillow mist was a nice touch. In addition to the welcome snacks, Eva brought me a desert from their little cabin outside. A delicious Italian, vanilla donut- like desert. Good job I didn’t have lunch that day. I dined at both the Italian and Chinese restaurants. Both of which offer amazing food. The Italian presents simplistic fare with the emphasis on fresh ingredients. The vegetable broth and specialty bread is to die for. The Chinese restaurant offers high quality Cantonese food and an alternative wine selection to that in the main building. The sommelier suggested a great wine pairing for the meal and also provided a complimentary glass of champagne and a coffee liqueur before escorting back to the hotel. Le Mer products are used in the spa! Yes, this is fantastic. My therapist, Daisy, had me in the state of being between consciousness and unconsciousness many times during the course of my treatment. Just what I was looking for. The staff at the Bvlgari are excellent. Young, professional and obviously well trained, evident through their subject knowledge and warm hearted service. All the staff consistently addressed me by name and ensured that my stay was perfect. Whilst at the bar, one of the girls presumed I was asking for the bill, when actually I was asking for another drink. I left to visit the WC and returned to find a note apologizing for her misunderstanding of English accompanying a complimentary desert with my drink. That was amazing! Thank you, Elsker. It’s often the small things that make a difference. Whilst walking to my room one of the room attendants was vacuuming the carpet. She abruptly stopped and waited for me to pass. Whilst at the pool, I headed towards the jacuzzi. Some of the staff appeared to be fixing or checking something, but they swiftly disappeared as I emerged. Upon checkout, Eva was waiting for me with a gift bag containing chocolates. This was in addition to the luggage tags and toiletries that were gifted by the turn down service the previous night. Eva called me a car to take me home. Whilst I waited she filled my gift bag with sweets from the huge jars of confectionery in the lobby. As the doorman approached to let me know my car had arrived, he also presented a small gift of Bvlgari toiletry products. What an amazing experience.! Truly remarkable. I will definitely return and I’ll be adding locations in Paris, London, Bali and Milan to my list of places to visit. Thank you to the entire Bvlgari team. From those excellent customer facing members of staff to those who are behind the scenes and make things run so well. You all do a fantastic job and I wish you all the greatest success on the future. Really nice hotel. Great location and near a lot of attractions. I found value in staying here due to the convenience of near by attractions but I chose to eat outside of the hotel because the prices are high. The bar drinks were not good and made with very little alcohol and far too much ice. High price as well. There happened to be some famous actor staying at the hotel and security blocked access to a couple floors so I couldn't access the elevator to get to my room after check in so that was really annoying. Eventually I was able to get to the room and it was nice. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. A bit small but nice none the less.

Pleasant stay at this hotel :) Service was good & staff can converse in simple English too. Room was cosy and clean! Breakfast was very decent too. Definitely be coming back her to stay when I’m in Shanghai.

Stayed in Shanghai for work for 2 days in July 2024, hotel check in is located at 54th-ish floor of the building, with a nice waiting area, overseeing the Shanghai city. As the hotel is quite sizable, check in area could get a little crowded at times. Room was located on 81st floor of the hotel, and shortly after I stepped out the elevator - WOW. Timeless spiral design. Had to take some photos there and was worried I might drop my phone LOL. Once I stepped in my room, just another WOW. Overseeing the Shanghai city and was able to see the sunrise the next morning. The room itself is big and comfy. Booked a room with club access, which is located on 83rd floor and serves breakfast / afternoon tea. Quite surprised most of the guests were up early. It opens at 6:30am and by 7am, it was mostly occupied, luckily I went there early and able to grab a nice spot looking at the Oriental Pearl Tower. The hotel is located in the middle of where all the financial institutions’ head offices are, but it isn’t exactly near to the city where all the markets area. Highly recommend for people coming here for work, but may not as much for tourism.
