Hotel Dormy Inn Express Sendai Hirosedoori Reviews

I booked this hotel for their free supper noodle. Had it once at Kumamoto & pining for it ever since. The onsen here only for men. Women had to go opposite hotels. Booked a smoking room & the whole floor smells of smoke. Windows cannot be opened hence was stuffy. To use the toilet you had to take a huge step up… breakfast was delicious. Not a hotel I would choose again. Kinda far from Sendai station. But near to shopping streets.

The cheapest hotel I can get at that day for two person. It has a public bath and free night snacks.

The room has a black wall pillar that was disturbing when sleeping. Felt as if something is looking at you while sleeping. Felt a bit eerie. Other than that, you have to go to their sister hotel for the public bathroom. On top of that, it mentioned it had carpark but it did not mention that it cannot take a kei car. Ended up i have to park at a public carpark station which is very expensive.

Nice food, nice breakfast n good location.. Free ramen at 9pm is a plus point too

The facilities are old. The bathroom is a step higher than the room, and the old design makes it feel oppressive. If it was about 2,000 yen cheaper, the cost performance would be the same. It's enough as a base for visiting delicious food in Sendai, Shiogama, and Matsushima. It's also easy to access the nightlife.

The front desk staff was very friendly and had a great smile. I asked for a blanket and they responded quickly. The shampoo and conditioner they had on hand had a nice scent, and they also had a deodorizing spray for clothes, which was very helpful. It was a very fulfilling stay.

I was wondering what it would be like since it was an early Dormy Inn, but the interior didn't feel old. They also served midnight noodles, and the breakfast had a variety of local dishes, which was nice. It was a bit of a walk from Aoba Dori Station, but it was cheap, so I was happy with it.

The location is very convenient as it is above a subway station and close to Kokubuncho. The breakfast was also sumptuous, and the beef tongue croquettes and beef tongue curry were delicious.

The large communal bath is smaller than I expected. But it's much better than using the unit bath in the room.

Access from the station was very good. The room seemed to have the bare minimum facilities of a typical business hotel. They put a lot of effort into the large communal bath and food, so I would recommend it to people who value those things.

Relaxing, clean rooms and beds, welcome sweets in the room, large public bath (for men only) where you can take a leisurely bath in the morning. Ice cream after the sauna, midnight noodles, breakfast is easy to eat in small bowls. At the lobby entrance, there are tables, chairs, and a counter with outlets for when you meet your pick-up, and free coffee and tea are also available. Both Jozenji Street and Sendai Station are within a 10-minute walk. I was very satisfied.
