Sea Star Perfect resort. Perfect location. Perfect staff. Wonderful owner, ERIC, who has great PR 👍🏻. Staff is respectful and friendly. I cannot ask for more. Highly recommend Sea Star Resort. We bought a 3D2N Sea Star Resort package. It included a return transfer by van from Tawau Airport to Semporna boat jetty which took almost 1.5h, a 10-minute boat ride to Sea Star Resort, a whole day of island hopping and snorkelling, all meals (breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner 👍🏻), free usage of inflatables, transparent paddle boat and snorkelling gear and unlimited supply of drinking water. The room is very clean and spacious- had a king size bed plus a day bed. Bath area was spacious and attractive. Really love this place very much. Look at the video I have attached! Air conditioned, good internet connection and extended balcony. Food is local buffet style. We enjoyed all our meals there. You will get an assortment of dishes. For dinner, you get good large prawns 🍤 and fish👍🏻. Tea is special- besides 2-3 types if local cakes, you get an endless supply of banana fritters which are very addictive 👍🏻 The sea water around the resort and beyond is crystal clear. You can always see the marine creatures in the water. From 4pm, use of inflatables, transparent paddle boat and snorkelling gear are supervised. Very kind staff who are ever ready to lend a helping hand. We are grateful to Eric, Gordon, Amsyar, Lisa and all the Sea Star Resort staff. We will be back! Staying in Sempoorna town was a delightful experience, and this resort made our visit truly special. Sempoorna town is relatively small and apart from diving, hiking, island hopping there is not much things to do. If you're planning to spend more than 2-3 days in the area, I highly recommend considering this resort. Conveniently located just 10 minutes away from Sempoorna town by boat, the resort offers a tranquil escape. The staff and owner here are not only friendly but also incredibly cooperative, ensuring a warm welcome and a comfortable stay throughout. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully equipped, providing a luxurious experience. The surrounding beautiful sea is a highlight, adorned by starfish and other fishes. While the included food may not be the centerpiece of the experience, it is satisfactory, mainly featuring delicious Chinese cuisine. The staff and owner go the extra mile to share details about the resort, snorkeling gear, and any assistance you may need. During our stay, they arranged an unforgettable island-hopping tour, adding an extra layer of excitement to our visit.

Treasure Hotel, especially compared with the sea view in front, it has too many points. 1. No additional tourism tax 2. Shampoo and shower gel are separate 3. Clean, sanitary and spacious 4. Beautiful sea view. We stayed in the family room 205 5. The air conditioning is strong 6. There are drinks in the beverage bar. These are standard in China, but luxury here. And the location is also very good, away from the dirty old town, closer to KFC and Starbucks

I didn’t really stay at this hotel but paid a visit when I was in town. The staff there were very friendly and showed me a couple of rooms as I requested. It is definitely in better condition than the Inn2 I stayed in. It is the newest among the three Sipadan Inns, at a better location, especially if you go to Mabul with Scuba Junkie, very close to their office and their jetty. Thought to let travelers know as I didn’t see any comment when booking hotels in Semporna. It is a tiny seafront town, everything close by but those narrow, car-lined streets are not that easy to walk through if you carry luggage on a hot day.

Booked this Inn2 because I couldn’t see any commitments on Sipadan Inn 3 or 1. It was okay for overnight. The first time I stayed there, it was a normal small room with window facing the street. However, when I checked in again a week later I got a room in the middle without window, even though I booked the same queen room. The location is not great, Inn 3 and 1 are at better spots in the small seafront town, easier to reach than Inn 2. Among the three, Inn 3 is the newest and, after a visit, I noticed it has better rooms with better facilities. Had WiFi in room at Inn 2, the bed was very basic and sheets not crispy clean, the shower was okay as well as the air conditioning. Semporna is a tiny town with most places within walking distance, though the narrow, car-lined streets are not that clean or tidy to walk through, especially if you carry luggage. From what I heard from other travelers, very basic facilities wherever you stay, so lower your expectations then probably all good.

Great place To Stay for small budget lodge in Semporna. New makeover lodge with basic but confortable for short Stay. Will Stay again in future. Sorrounded by many Restaurant, Laundry, supermarket, Salon and spa.

I didn’t expect too much at the beginning. I saw other hotels on Ctrip saying that the hotel bedsheets were basically not good and the environment was the same because we entered the beach. I didn’t expect a surprise. The lady boss was very nice. When we arrived, it was already dinner time. The lady boss They drove us to eat for free, and then took us back to the hotel after dinner. The hotel was very, very, very clean because hygiene is very important when taking care of a baby, and the safety was very reassuring. There were four doors in total to the room, and the door was also a coded door. The experience is also very good and the facilities are complete. With twins, everyone was very helpful. Thank you very much to everyone at the B&B! The network is too slow and uploading is too difficult. I can only read a few pictures while writing comments on the island, haha

Its approximately 5 mins drive from Semporna town centre to The Firefly Resort , which is nestled in an oil palm estate, there are plenty of carparks beside the Resort Main Reception building. Check in was a breeze by the front desk cheerful lady, after that the staff help to take our luggage leading us to our chalet. C01 King size bedroom is cosy and spacious, has all the basic amenities with very fast speed wireless internet services. Best of it all, the room is equipped with 2 wall charger ports for mobile phones on both night tables, travellers need not worry if they have forgotten to bring their own. Chalets are well laid out within the landscape surrounded by bird ferns, wild ginger plants and many others. It is a place conducive for good rest, refreshing, rejuvenation and retreat with back to the nature forestry environment, listening to birds chirping, tree squiirrels running and especially you would get to pass by a friendly talking Myna bird that greets you with “sudah makan” & “good morning”. The Reception Area leads into a bar counter with karaoke system, dining area and a lounge where food & beverage is served. It is very cosy and cool under the the high double volume roof complete with big “helicopter fan “ , rustic log sawn timber furniture, and comfortable sofa at the Afresco area . There is a corner for barbecue too. Local Malaysian breakfast spread is good, seafood dinner is exceptionally cooked, deliciously prepared and presented. Complement to the excellent culinary skill of the resident Chef Lim. If you are looking for relaxation ,rest and a place to be pampered , The Firefly Resort Semporna is well recommended !!

I’m traveling with my baby by myself, and since I’m traveling abroad, I still have a lot of worries before traveling. But booking this hotel solved all the problems and I was very happy on this trip. 1. Contact mango before traveling to ask any questions you don’t know. 2. After arriving at the hotel, the hotel established a group. You can ask the butler for all questions. The butler provides Chinese service and will reply in seconds, which is great. 3. The hotel environment is very good and quiet. It is about 5 kilometers away from the town, but the hotel has a shuttle bus, which is very convenient. If you really can't catch the bus, you can ask the housekeeper to help me take a taxi. It's about 13 horses. The housekeeper helped me take a taxi that day, but the driver said that I brought wet clothes (packed in plastic bags) and wouldn't let me get on the bus, so the housekeeper came to pick me up. We, the service was very good. Although the hotel in the town is close to the pier, the environment is too bad and noisy. 4. The hotel uses Chinese plugs, so there is no need to bring an adapter. 5. The arrangement is very reasonable. In Semporna, there are all one-day tour groups. I booked them with mango. I found that it was a little cheaper than the same boat. I booked 3 lines and got free airport pick-up and drop-off. I ordered 5 lines and I am very satisfied with each one. But you must remember that we went to play on the last day of the Lover's Bay project. It was so exciting that I woke up with backache the next day. 6. I have been hesitant about whether to sign up for the mangrove forest. Some of the information on the Internet is boring. Since we arrived at the hotel at 9 a.m. and had no plans for the afternoon, there was really nothing to do, so we signed up and went to have a look. The children said that they were lucky to have signed up. They had never seen so many stars before. The sky was covered with fireflies. Large swaths of fireflies flew out of the mangroves. It was so shocking. They even saw the Monkey King. The tour guide said that you have to try your luck to see these. 7. The fish caught in the sea is not processed by Internet celebrity shops. It is processed by any shop on the pier. It is also super delicious. 8. All one-day tours are provided in Chinese, so don’t worry, the guys are warm and friendly.

I brought six children to stay here. I was a little nervous before I went there because the reviews online were mixed. I regretted it when I went there. Why didn't I book a few more nights? It's worth it to just relax in this paradise for a few days even if I didn't go to the beach. There are different feelings in the morning and evening. The scenery and the park are all very attentive. The indoor and outdoor are very detailed. The sockets in the house are all Chinese standards, no need to convert, and it's not like what the Internet says that Malaysian hotels don't have toothbrushes and slippers. It's really domestic standards. He has everything that is available in China. There are electric fans and air conditioners. The hygiene is very good. There are no mosquitoes. It must have taken a lot of effort. I want to focus on a few customer service staff. Three of them can communicate in Chinese. They are so nice, barrier-free, and they are very honest. There are also two local service staff. The children are not big, they are always smiling, and Lun also smiles when he sees them 😊 It's really warm. Recommend the shrimp, crab, squid, and chicken in the restaurant. Hahahaha, they are really super delicious, and the cooking skills are great. I really linger and recommend it! ! !
