I loved everything about this hotel! It was clean, well maintained and safe. (Safety is big for me traveling alone). I watched the sunrise at one end and set at the other each day over the mountain ranges. I LOVED the adults only hottub. The rooms were incredibly spacious with many windows. The front desk staff were ALL so friendly and helpful. Tim from maintenance was so friendly in passing. I enjoyed the company in the hottub and fire pit. I love the reasonably priced little store on the property. The other guests were very pleasant. I will be back for sure.

This is our go to place for our annual staycation during the summer. It's a wonderful resort. They have wonderful pools. They also have an ”adult only” pool if you want to relax away from the kiddos. To add to our wonderful experience was the Bird Man from Liberty Wildlife. On the 4th of July he had Aurora, a huge beautiful female bald eagle. You are able to take a picture with Aurora and as she is lifted up behind you she spreads her gorgeous wings! On other days he might have a hawk or an owl. The live band in the pm was fun too! The picture I posted here of the Bird Man is from Google. The eagle he is with is beautiful, but not Aurora. 💜

Service is not up to par, better resorts in the area, would not recommend. Bad service started at dinner when we were left for 15 minutes to wait for drinks only to be told they were out of the ingredients needed to make the drink, then delivered a steak with no knife and no one came back to check on us for the rest of the meal. There was only 1 other table occupied, it was not busy. Then checked into a room comically far from front desk, 10 minute walk with no offer of assistance with bags. next morning ordered toast from room service, after 45 minutes of waiting went to pick up the food myself, guy who was bringing food was in the hallway so i took the box and realized it was cold and asked him to take it back and i would come down and pick up a fresh plate. While I was waiting in restaurant entrance a couple came to eat and was told ”you can sit down but no one will be able to help you for at least 15 mins”, this is 10am on a Sunday and again the restaurant is mostly empty, I'm not sure if its a staffing issue but it seems to be strange to be so under prepared for simple services. Someone dropped my new food and the bill on a table, again no acknowledgment or apology, and then I see I was charged a room service fee and an auto-gratuity, but bc there was no one around to ask i just left frustrated and thought I'll handle it on my way out. But upon check out the woman at the front desk was even more rude and dismissive, telling me if I had an issue I had to walk back to the restaurant and ask them even though she called them to confirm my order. I don’t expect this type of service from a high end resort, if a customer has an issue big or small it should be acknowledged and remedied by the staff. They may have remodeled the outside to look pretty but the inner workings do not match the facade.

Rooms are beautiful and spacious but the policy of the length of stay that we were made unaware of when we booked here was a negative and made it so my boyfriend and I were unsure if we were to stay here again. Other than that the resort was beautiful
Andaz Scottsdale is an artfully designed, mid-century modern enclave tucked away on 23 acres of gardens and shaded groves in the heart of the Sonoran Desert. This is a retreat ideal for travelers in search of paths less traveled: The resort’s 185 bungalows and suites feature private entrances and patios, outdoor showers, luxuriously oversized bathrooms, designer furniture, and limited-edition works of art by resident artists. Desert-inspired interiors were conceived by the team at EDG Interior Architecture + Design, who took inspiration from the innovative architects, artists and graphic designers of the 1950s Arizona art scene—luminaries including Alexander Girard, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Paolo Solari. Offering three pools, a full suite of customizable treatments at the 12,000-square-foot Palo Verde Spa Apothecary, along with a glass-box exposition kitchen at the renowned Weft + Warp, Andaz Scottsdale now inspires all who visit. From the Southwest-infused menus to unique activities under the desert sky, this is a place where artistic expression radiates and the astonishing views of Camelback Mountain provide perspective. The Scott is beautifully designed with a chic, tropical vibe that makes for the perfect getaway. It was an ideal spot for a relaxing girls’ weekend! A highlight of our stay was the amazing spa experience. I had the best facial and the spa itself was beautiful. The resort was also an easy walk to Old Town Scottsdale and nearby shopping. We walked into town and adventurously took a Waygo home - a very futuristic driverless car experience! While the food was delicious, the service at the restaurant and Cabana Club could use some improvement. We found ourselves waiting quite a long time for our orders. The Club may have been short staffed as we had to put in our own drink orders at the bar as servers didn’t come around, and glasses were left unattended around the fire pit area, which detracted a bit from the ambiance. All in all, though, the inspiring design, relaxing atmosphere, and incredible spa made it a wonderful stay.

Outstanding
A colleague and I popped over from the Courtyard property that is adjacent. We had dinner and drinks. Terrific food, and even better service. Alan was top notch on service and suggestions on what to get. Will definitely be back!! If you’re considering this property it’s a great choice, and be sure to go see Alan for great food, drinks, and service!
Nice modern, quiet property. We moved here after a bad experience in the Old Town area of Scottsdale and although a ways away from the shopping and dining areas of central Scottsdale, it offers a quiet, comfortable stay. Only downside during this stay is almost every food item wasn’t available - apparently they are changing the menu. Not really acceptable because there are no other restaurants nearby without driving. We wanted a light dinner without leaving the hotel. Plenty of on street parking if you don’t want to pay for parking.
Have just spent nearly 2 weeks in this hotel and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were very clean with everything you would need and the pool area was also well kept and was never too busy and had pleasant background music. Thank you to Breanna the Manager for her assistance with a few minor issues we had at the beginning of our stay. The hotel restaurant The Desert Pony was excellent, we had a delicious breakfast there every morning. All the team are great! Special thanks to our server’s Naja & Alan who looked after us so well!
GGuest User*** Updating my former review of 1 star and changing it to a 3* overall review. My pre-vacation experience was a terrible terrible nightmare, worthy of zero stars. We were canceled on the week before our trip with zero warning or notice. I found out the hard way...we were left without a reservation and no communication of such changes. As someone wigh considerable travel and business management experience and one who hates to complain about trivial things I have to say the way this company operates in different segments (marketing, promotions, guest services, reservations, concierge, front desk management, and travel club etc) nobody knows what the next department does or has authority to do. There is WAY too much transferring, lost colls, horrific lack of communication between departments, the list could go on. They hire an outside ”marketing” department that frequently lies to prospective guests and once on property, management deflects blame to them for discrepancies. Happened to me, happened to woman at front desk while I was waiting. You hired a marketing company, if you disagree with their slimy techniques, say something, do something, fire them. Deflecting is not an answer. Guests deserve better treatment. Period. THAT SAID, our experience prior to arrival and during our stay was complete opposite. This resort is quite lovely. My family had a really terrific stay. The villas are absolutely gorgeous. We were upgraded to a 2 bed signature at check-in. Process took 5 min most. Resort is small enough to walk quickly everywhere. So very family friendly. Kids had a blast. Pools were not over crowded. Management was kind and considerate. Gave us extra pool towels and bottled water, opened the market for us after hours. No hassell with wristbands or ridiculous rules. Could eat and drink at the table by the pool. The best part was no rule nazis. It was a relaxing, enjoyable stay. Bartenders made some great White Russians 👌 Stay itself was a 5*, but giving this 3* overall for experience leading up to trip.
GGuest UserThe property is 5 Diamonds in every way. Location central to all of Scottsdale. Grounds are beautiful and the housekeeping staff is excellent. All appointments in the spacious rooms are premium down to the leather box for the TV remote. We ate breakfasts in the Ironwood Grill and the food and service were 4 star. Best of all, the service and friendly staff elevated this resort to top level. This was the first time at the Princess; it won't be our last.
AAilinI am used to great hospitality, I am from Malaysia, but staff from Comfort Inn exceeded our expectation. They went above and beyond regular service when they had to evacuate our things while we're still conferencing. The care and mindfulness of their housekeeping staff was truly commendable. Thank you most sincerely.
GGuest UserIf you want to be degraded, discriminated and practically kicked out of your room for having a service animal, stay here..Holiday Inn, and the GH Keton(which of whom i have been trying to get a hold of him all week, with NO luck) should be ashamed how they let Wayne(the front office manager) speak and treat guests. Im sure I wasnt the first and wont be the last, as long as they keep allowing him. Checked in December 10th around 10:30pm, I told clerk that I had a service animal and he said ”OK No Problem”.. We decided to go get dinner before going into the room, came back around 11:15 and when I was walking into the hotel Wayne stops me with a pinch of attitude and a unmannerly tone and says ”Can I help you?Oh wait, is that a service animal?” I said ”Yes” then he proceeds to ask ”hold on right here, i need to check in my system if there is note of that” (after a lot of typing) he proceeds to tell me ”there is nothing in the system, but why is your dog a service animal?” I said ”I suffer from severe anxiety, I do have a his paperwork” he then bitingly asks me ”what does he do for you, that you so need a service animal?” I said, I provided paperwork to the clerk when checking in, I also called the hotel prior to completing the reservation asking them if they took Service animals, and they said Yes”. He said ”we legally cannot see any paperwork provided, and I have been trained to handle these type of situations but it comes out to, YOU can stay here but not the DOG, seems what you have is a PET not a Service Animal”(like if he knew or if he was a doctor). After Wayne proudly waived at me his very used and revised ADA papers over and over again, He said my Dog couldn't stay with me and he said he wouldn't allow me back in, I proceeded to tell him that I wasn't going to be paying for a room HE wasn't allowing me to stay in, he said I was still going to be responsible for the room I never even stepped a foot in. I am an IHG member, and this experience was nothing but discusting, humiliating and discriminating. Mind you it was 50° and it was 11:15PM, I had to find another hotel room! Other guests did try to intervine and told Wayne what he was doing was against the law, asking me all those specifics, he proudly once again flagged his revised ADA papers and argued with other guests as well. Wayne lacked empathy and it seems he lost his costumer service skill and has been allowed to treat others with disrespect..
996163Once you finally can find the building, the ‘condo’ is modern & clean with outstanding amenities (although for a $20/day fee) Good: Condo is well supplied for short visits: - TV with Netflix etc & sound system. - Washer & Dryer. - Rooftop lounge and sitting area, nice gym - Beautiful swimming area with bbq's. - Clean modern condo with big patio Not so Good; - no patio chairs - no pool towels - not sound proof - smell of **** in hallways and comes in through your windows. - parking costs $25/night - get ready to walk miles to find your unit. Massive building with / elevator areas and a fire escape that we used to go to rooftop and pool floors. Bad: - Impossible to find. Apple Maps takes you elsewhere (other side of Mercedes dealership but condo on next road). Google gets your there to the back but you have no idea where you are. The problem is the building is in a horseshoe and the back faces the main road w/o any signage or addresses. Brutal! If you arrive after hours - you would be out of luck. - Pool area is beautiful but has glass doors that you can easily walk through. A kid running would break their neck. -Only 2 elevators and one fire escape that we used to access rooftop (5th) and pool and social/games area (2nd) -This is not Old Town Scottsdale. be prepared to walk 15 minutes.
GGuest UserThe staff was very friendly the rooms were clean and they were very accommodating I was very fortunate to be able to be helped by Katie at the front desk she was very accommodating when I requested a room with a hot tub because previous night they were not available. And a bonus I was right next to the pool. Definitely will come back!
