Stayed at the Valley View for the June long weekend. Couldnt have been happier. Room was clean and importantly cosy, electric blanket, air con, quilt and blanket on comfy bed, great hot shower with large modern showerhead. Local hotels deliver meals to motel also when you really don’t feel like going out in the cold again. Outdoor area with bbq with lots of warm sunshine in the afternoon and a place to meet other travellers. A pool for the hot summers. All against backdrop of stunning mountains. Best of all were the amazing owners, very friendly and happy to help with anything and a bottle of wine on arrival or juice or chocolate if that’s your thing. Situated centrally between Scone and Tamworth, plus Murrurundi is a beautiful little town itself, with lots of history, friendly people, museums, great cafes and pubs. Looking forward to going back 👍

This place is a little unusual in that it appears to be a block full of single units that were purpose designed for overnight accommodation. There's no front desk, but the lady who runs the place will give you your access codes by text message. The level of care and detail is evident when you walk into your unit, and the crowning point for us was that they have two units that are equipped with Tesla Destination Chargers; which incidentally they were happy to move bookings around for us when I contacted them with the charger request a couple of days before we arrived. Recommended.
