We booked two rooms—Superior Twin Room and Family Twin Room—and both were very comfortable and exceeded our expectations. The Superior Twin Room was spacious, modern, and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and the room offered a nice view of the city. The Family Twin Room was perfect for our group, providing plenty of space and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
The hotel is located in a fantastic spot, just a short walk from Odori Park and other popular attractions, which made exploring Sapporo really easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ensuring we had everything we needed.
However, one downside was that the hotel did not provide a water dispenser in the hallway, which would have been a convenient touch.
Overall, despite that small inconvenience, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Odysis Sapporo Odori Koen Hotel for anyone visiting Sapporo. It's a great choice for both families and solo travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.
Location is excellent.... so many choices of restaurants, close to transport etc... Services are very good as they are very responsive and the English speaking staffs are good... Rooms are relatively smaller but acceptable compared to Tokyo hotels... Facilities are standard - breakfast buffet is excellent... but there is no onsen but considering the price we pay, we wouldnt expect that either... Generally room amenities on the basic side but acceptable :)

Airport connects bus to hotel, staff is generally okay, although not all are helpful. When we checked out, we requested two taxis, but when they arrived, the drivers had difficulty communicating with us to confirm that the taxis were booked for us. Unfortunately, there were no hotel staff available to assist us, which made us feel quite upset. Additionally, the hotel facilities are outdated; the lighting is dim, and we found some dust and dirt on the towels and bedding.

Superior room was booked. It was disappointed that view is worse than that of standard room my friends chose. And the design of bathtub has problem with water leaking to floor.

Booked on the spur of the moment during the peak season, less than 1,000 per night. Located in Susukino (red light district), near many special shops. Not far from the city center, but a little far from the subway entrance. The room is not big, and the hotel does not have a hot spring. It's average, I personally think the cost performance is not very high, I will not give priority to this place next time.

A Perfect Stay at a Stylish, Convenient Location!
I had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. First and foremost, the location is absolutely ideal. It’s easily accessible, situated in a prime area with seamless connections to both transportation and local attractions. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, you’ll find everything you need right at your doorstep.
The interiors of the hotel are nothing short of stunning. The design is sleek, modern, and impeccably stylish, with every detail thoughtfully curated. From the elegant lobby to the spacious, tastefully decorated rooms, the ambiance exudes comfort and luxury. The blend of contemporary aesthetics and high-end finishes creates a truly welcoming atmosphere.
If you’re looking for a top-tier hotel with an unbeatable location and outstanding design, this is the place to be. I can’t recommend it enough!
Even received this free treat of two drinks because we’ve chosen ECOLOGY CLEANING. Such a wonder experience here, would definitely be back !
Several times, good services including the trainee who carried the luggages and guide us to my room.
I wrote an compliment for her to the hotel.
Japanese breakfast was good and the view from restaurant at 22/F was excellent.

The hotel location was superb. Nearby the busy streets of Sapporo with many food choices around. There is Lawson and 711 downstairs. The rooms are slightly bigger than usual rooms in Sapporo which we compared. The part which requires to use 2 lifts to get out of the building didn't really bother us at all. We enjoyed our 5 nights stay there

GGuest UserVery well located, just 10mins walk from the Sapporo station .
Room is small as usual but the staff are very helpful, they assisted me to change my flight due to the adverse weather n also they allowed me to keep my bags when I was away on my other trip to different parts of HOKKAIDO..it's was really helpful otherwise it would be so cumbersome to drag it along the snowy path which so slippery and difficult.
Breakfast is mediocre, vy basic however better than nothing, just to fill up the tummy. Still appreciate it for the price for a hotel in downtown SAPPORO.
Would definitely stay here again for the price and it's close proximity to the Sapporo station.
BBH88Overall, it’s a standard ibis Styles experience—nothing much to complain about. The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided outstanding customer service. We accidentally inserted a coin into the card machine, mistaking it for a coin exchange machine. When we approached the staff for help, they promptly assisted us in retrieving the 1,000 yen and even delivered it to our room.
The location isn’t as convenient as Susukino, but Nakajima-Koen Station is just a 4-minute walk away, making it easy to get around.
Breakfast was average, with a decent selection of salads and small side dishes, but limited main courses. The highlight for me was their delicious banana ice cream.

GGuest UserThe hot spring is under maintenance since 2024 March, but it is not stated when I make booking on this hotel, quite disappointed I can’t enjoy the hot spring when staying there for two nights, as the temperature in Sapporo now in mid-November is very low (lowest 4 celsius at night).
Overall cleanliness and distance from the train station is perfect.

TTraveler in JapanSmile Hotel Premium - Sapporo Susukino was an ideal base for my solo adventure in Sapporo. The location couldn’t have been better—right in Susukino, with so many restaurants and shops nearby to explore. The room was small but spotless and modern, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were warm and attentive, happy to give tips on local spots. For the price, it’s hard to beat the value and convenience, especially if you’re looking to dive into Sapporo’s lively food scene and local attractions. I’d stay here again!

KKunsineeI recently stayed at Travelodge and overall, the experience was quite decent. The room was clean and the staff at the reception were friendly. However, I did face a bit of an inconvenience during my stay.
On one occasion, I put the card on the door asking for fresh towels, as per the hotel's policy for towel change requests. Unfortunately, despite the card being clearly visible, the housekeeping staff did not come in to replace the towels. This was a bit disappointing, as I was expecting a simple service to be carried out as requested.
While the hotel itself is generally comfortable, I hope they can improve their housekeeping service in the future to avoid such oversights.

CCanadian Solo Male (‘93) - 2024 SabbaticalExpectation/Reality: fair representation of photos from reality. Bunks are organized in a clever way which make it feel quite private.
Security: good lock in bed room. Code required to get into the bunk area. And generally felt belongings were secure.
Hygiene: generally very clean, seems like a pattern in Japan. The ceiling of the top bunk is open style, rugged but clean.
Hospitality: sometimes it took some patience to deal with a human. But the online check in / out works fine. You need to take an elevator to get to the hostel
Social Atmosphere: only stayed a few nights so did not have best opportunity to engage, however, there is an abundant amount of common space and would expect it to be good.
Overall would come again and would reccomend.
WWinnBKKHave 2 hotels with same name. Very confusing as I went to the wrong one and need to walk with my big luggage and snow. The hotel staff was helpful however I request for non smoking room but they can’t give it to me.
