Great location. Comfortable bed. Small but heated swimming pool.

The location is very good, about 20 minutes walk from the beach park, parking is only valet service, a little expensive. Cheap public parking is a few hundred meters away.

I made a reservation for this hotel for 3 nights and 4 days with advance payment. I couldn't stay the first night because the flight from Vancouver to Los Angeles was canceled due to a WestJet strike. When I arrived at the hotel on the second day, my reservation had been canceled. Even though I had contacted Trip.com the day before to say that I would be late, my reservation had been canceled. I finally managed to contact Trip.com by phone and they said that my reservation was still valid. I was able to check in again, but the loss of time messed up my plans for the rest of the trip, which was terrible.
The hair dryer was broken, there were no slippers, and the housecleaning left dust on the floor.
I complained to the front desk clerk who canceled the reservation when I checked out, saying that I had paid in advance and that they couldn't cancel without Trip.com's permission, but they gave me a cold response that the reservation would be canceled if I didn't show up.
