We came to celebrate Labor Day and a birthday in the family and couldn't have been happier with our decision. Three people that made our stay even more special were Theresa in the spa (warm, genuine, helpful, and friendly), Grace at the pool bar (fun, knowledgeable, kind) and finally Andy at the View. Andy made us feel welcome, was extremely helpful (especially with two small children), made some great recommendations on cocktails and dinner, and even made our birthday celebration even better with the toffee dessert. I mentioned three people here but it's not fair to call out everyone from the valet, front desk, and servers across the entire property that make this place truly special and a part of our annual traditions.

The view was an awesome spot for brunch, especially with Andrew E. as our server. He was super friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. The ambiance was great, and Andrew's service really made the experience better. Can't wait to return soon!

Diedra has a soft vice and strong hands. I felt relaxed and energized after the massage. The other staff were lovely and helpful. I will definitely return! The spa has a jaccuxi, steam room, sauna, and fitness center. The property has gorgeous views also.

Older hotel. Room is dark and not very clean. I saw hair in the bathtub . Food is expensive but did not taste good. Definitely not a luxury or high end resort . Maybe better staying at a 3 star hotel . Had issue with billing too. Price does not match the service and quality . Won’t return here again.

Andrew E. was a thoughtful and attentive server. Had a great experience at The View for breakfast. I had the salmon Lox and bagel and it was delicious. My friend enjoyed the Huevos rancheros and she liked the presentation, saying that it was delicious. Would highly Recommend. 👍

Had a wonderful brunch with friends! Andrew E, our server, was amazing-so kind and helpful. This view is beautiful. They brought us an umbrella. The truffle fries were amazing and delicious and scrumptious and the sauces were a perfect complement.

Yay so fun! Andrew E was an amazing server, lovely time all around! Food was tasty, we ordered breakfast sandwich, salmon bagel, huevos rancheros and the burger - all were delicious and cooked to well- would come back - good drinks we got several.

My husband and i saw the photos and videos of the resort and were so excited to stay here, but definitely left disappointed. We decided to book 4th of July weekend, and we’ve never been to Santa Cruz before. First, the pool was a cloudy mess. We really thought the pool was going to be nicer than it turned. Obviously there were a lot of people swimming but it was gross nonetheless. Second- the rooms were very outdated. We thought for the price we paid which was almost $400+-$450/ night we would have had a nicer room. The s’mores fire pits i think we tried to book it and the front desk gave some ABSURD amount for a family of 4 i don’t remember exactly but it was around $100+ for us to sit and have s’mores which is ridiculous. We thought there was going to be more to do at the resort, but we did love the movie at the pool. We ended up going to the boardwalk way more than we thought and it was about 20+ minute drive each time. Lastly, the customer service was very on par with “we don’t care”. We got the distinct feeling every time we called the front desk or asked a question the staff seemed irritated/annoyed and could really care less about our happiness while being at the resort. Overall our stay was just “ok” but there price tag was definitely not worth it and next time we will opt to stay closer to the board walk

This review is specifically for my time at the spa. I had a facial and Swedish massage. My masseuse was Kelly and oh my goodness she was AH MAZE ING!!! She really focused on my arms which is exactly what I wanted and I left feeling like I was on a cloud. She truly was one of the best masseurs I’ve ever had and I hope she receives special kudos for the work she did yesterday.
