Hated my neighbor in the connected room, that set his alarm to 6 am, and snoozed every 10 min for two hours. Injured myself trying to get out of their old school elevator. Would not stay here again and don’t recommend.

Clean, friendly, comfort and near to all things

The hotel’s location and cleanliness matched the description, but the most concerning issues were the safety of the room window and the poor soundproofing. We could hear every footstep from the floor above, every passing car, and every door opening and closing on the same floor. These noises constantly disrupted our sleep, preventing us from resting for more than an hour at a time.Additionally, the window was not secure, as it had no lock and could be easily opened from the outside, which was particularly worrying given its proximity to an emergency exit staircase. Fortunately, we only stayed for one night, but if you need a quiet environment to sleep, I would strongly advise against staying here.

Bed was big and comfortable. Room was small- would be a struggle for 2 people and their belongings. Staff were friendly.

This is an old-fashioned hotel.  The facilities in the hotel are acceptable.  I'm a traveler who usually goes out early and returns late to the hotel, a shower and a clean bed are enough.  No more expectations in this small hotel.  However, the lobby and receptionists are ok.

Good location only 10 minutes walk to union square,for the price was a great place to stay

The hotel is ok clean, but the service is very poor. I arrived around 5pm and the room I was as assigned was not clean so they cleaned it and it took and extra 30 minutes. I had to stay a second night and made arrangement at front desk. Had to leave and came back late at night. The room hadn’t been cleaned, the bed made, and there was no soap or coffee. I went to the front desk and I was given two bags of coffee. This morning around 9am the cleaning crew know Jen and opened the door while I was still sleeping. Now they seemed busy to do cleaning. I have to stay an extra two days in San Francisco so I packed up my things and went to a different hotel.

A wonderful hotel near California Street. The center is a 10-minute walk away, there is a pharmacy and a supermarket nearby. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. Large rooms, clean bed linen and towels. Good service. They checked us in early, and when we checked out, they left our things for free without any problems. Also free tea, coffee, and water with lemon. The hotel has a history, but it was renovated, everything is new, good lighting, and modern plumbing.

It was really great! The room was a bit small, but that's to be expected considering the price. The location was good, the staff was friendly, and it was really clean.

Good location, good value for money. The room is small and well-equipped with facilities. There is a microwave in the corridor. It's just that the charging socket is only available in the bathroom. The sound insulation effect is not very good, you can hear the noise from the neighboring room. There is an affordable supermarket on the corner. It is convenient to buy food in the lower right corner of the picture below, but remember to pay in cash. There is a surcharge of more than 20% when using a card.

Very good hotel in a great location. Close to Union Square and Fishermans. Close to bus stops.
