Hotel North Beach Reviews

There were many cockroaches in the room, which made me feel very uncomfortable and unhygienic. I had to use an entire can of insect spray in one day to finally get rid of them. Also, one of the female staff members at the front desk was generally unfriendly. However, there were some kind and helpful staff as well.

Did not enjoy it. Was dirty & uncomfortable. People smoke in the hotel and do ***** with door open.

You get what you pay for. Good location between Chinese and Italian restaurants. Showers were few, and there was no soap.

not bad, but the lady at the desk was way too slow. Everyone is waiting. Room is just nice for lone traveller.

Front desk staff are friendly and willing to help you. Thumbs up! Located in China Town, and restaurants are just next door, and walking distance to the subway and many places of interest... Great!

I stayed in a 4-bed dorm. The room was with enough space to pack luggage. Lockers provided but you gotta bring your own lock. The private shower room was clean. One of the two elevators broke down during the stay, another functioning couldnt show the floor. Not a fresh modern looking type of hostel, but with a good vibe if you prefer somewhere more vibrant to stay.

Although you have to share restroom and bathroom with others, but there is also refrigerator, microwave oven and washing sink. Still go to have one day stopover. There are many nice restaurant nearby, explore.

Clean and tidy with a lot of restaurants around. 10mis walk to walgreen and 15mins walk form bart. China town is just a corner. Good reception and give me information. Luggages can put when you check out. I recommend u for small money but a good rm.

This hotel has a very good location, close to main atraction in SF, Is older than other building but in my opinion was clean and quiet at night, Th Bathroom can be better but always are available, I didn´t line, Close to the chinatown, embarcadero and fisherman Wahsr. TV older.

The rooms, the building, the pool, and the dining area were all very clean and wonderful. It was very relaxing. There was a supermarket nearby, so it was very convenient.

As other reviews said we encountered medium and small cockroaches and there was no room cleaning. You need to take out the trash yourself. There may also be a queue for the bathroom though! The location is perfect. It's right in Chinatown. You can eat, drink and have fun. I'm very satisfied with the location, so it can overcome all the shortcomings.
