San Diego Hotels with Pools

Very old hotel with dated rooms. The rooms are not good. I had to shift three times, and the front office staff handled the passport carelessly. Won't stay in this property again as I was not impressed with the room quality. Housekeeping is only available every three days—no staff to help to shift the luggage from room to room when I was moved. I booked a bay view room with a balcony, but they provided the first room, which has smelly rooms and no working aircon. Moved to another room without a bay view and, after a night, moved to another room on the eighth floor with a semi-bay view and balcony. Honestly was not impressed with the experience. No free water in the room. Wifi was not the fast.

Not bad, the balcony view is very good~ The sink in the room was dripping, but the staff came to repair it, and the service attitude was good~ The breakfast in the hotel was also good, and the children were very happy~

There is only one restaurant in the hotel, which serves an American à la carte breakfast. The hotel location is good, in the middle of the gas lamp area, there are many restaurants around, suitable for food. 3 minutes walk to the tram stop. Hotel facilities are not new, but in the United States hotels are pretty good, the old five-star standard in China. The service was great.

The shower water in the bathroom has a strong flow, and it is very comfortable to take a shower. The hotel staff cleaned the room for two consecutive days. The regret is that the wallpaper in the bathroom is warped. The barrier-free bathroom has a curtain, but the shower water still splashes easily. The lobby will give you freshly baked big cookies, which taste very good and satisfying. If you like to eat, you can ask for them. There is a menu for the main course of breakfast, and you have to order from the hotel waiter. It’s just that my family didn’t know about the first breakfast. I went to the restaurant alone and only ate the fruits and staple food on the dining table and gave the meal ticket to the waiter. I didn’t eat the main course. Unfortunately, it can’t be compensated. It’s a pity that the room rate is high for one night.

Bathrooms need to be updated. Shower was old and looked dirty and there were areas that seemed to have mold. The pools were good for kids. They offered s’mores only for one hour which was not convenient for our schedule so we didn’t experience. Curtains weren’t blackout which is difficult when you have small children and lots of light comes in.

This is my second time staying here. I booked a regular room last time, but this time I booked a house next to the bay. It is really great, with pleasant scenery. I took my children to feed the seagulls as soon as I opened my eyes in the morning. The service staff in the entire park are very friendly and will chat with you with a smile. There are five swimming pools in the park. We went to the largest one. The children swam while the adults sat next to them to bask in the sun and order food. It was very comfortable. I will bring an electric scooter next time. It must be fun to visit the park! If there are any shortcomings, the facilities are relatively old and the air conditioner is very noisy. There is nothing else.

Disappointing for how much we paid. Three days without internet; pool closed, ice machine not working… despite everything, the room accommodations are good. Parking paid separately (you can leave it outside for free).

Was very pleased with my stay here. Only complaint is the people above me stomping around and the people next to me slamming their door late at night and early in the morning. I would definitely stay at this place again. It was clean and very roomy. Walking distance from some good restaurants. Good sized tv with fast internet.

The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the Midway aircraft carrier, which is very convenient. The hotel has bicycles for rent, but the rental point is not in the hotel. You can ask the front desk for the address. We rented ordinary bicycles for $39/day, and hotel guests for $26/day. It is also interesting to ride along the beach and see countless yachts.

As far as location, this was perfect for our Sea World and beach trip. There is a free shuttle to take you to Sea World, which made it convenient. The rooms were nice, but we had ants in the bathroom. If you don’t like hard pillows then I suggest you bring your own. You are charged a daily parking and resort fee, which I wouldn’t have minded had we actually been able to park right in front of our room. Unfortunately when we came, there was a Rolls Royce and Bentley event happening at our hotel where we could not park on our side and had to park our car clear on the opposite side of the hotel, which took 3 trips to bring our bags to the car. No discount on parking for this. It almost felt that they did not value any other guest when it came to this event. We paid the extra money to stay somewhere nicer and overall I felt it wasn’t worth it.
