The facility and the room are very nice. The pool was freezing cold, the heated poll worked like that. The food & drinks need improvement. Sometimes less is more ;-) focusing more on quality would be recommended! We had a dispute about the booking and had to pay extra. However, we did nothing wrong and had to show our confirmation again and again. We found this very unpleasant. There were also difficulties returning the towels. We'll be surprised as to whether our €50 security fee will be charged to the credit card or not. Overall the stay was ok, but we wouldn't come back or recommend it to others.

We booked all inclusive in a premium room and requested a room that had evening sun. We were given a room where the sun had gone by mid afternoon. Guest Services excelled and once we showed him the room we were quickly changed to a much better room and plenty of sun. The dressing gowns provided would only have fitted a child and not even a small adult. Once again Guest Services sorted instantly. The room was bland and boring with nowhere to sit comfortably. The 2 chairs in the room were modern & metal, both of different heights and could only be sat in using pillows as they were so badly designed and uncomfortable. Thankfully the chairs on the balcony were a bit more comfortable. Food was reasonably good with plenty of choice but not always quick to get through the queues for the show cooking. Food in the bar availble most of the time was always promptly served and well prepared. Entertaining -We only attended for one evening of entertaining as the room was so cold with little heating. Hard uncomfotable chairs to sit on and one side of the room open to the outside (covered with a canopies). This was the smoking area so all smoke came straight into the entertainment room. Room looked like it really was still outside and a poorly designed low roof added to call it a room. There was nowhere comfortable to sit in the hotel. The only softer chairs were down the side of the passage leading from reception to the restaurant, even then they were not really comfortable and they way they were organised made talking to other people difficult. Plenty of sunbeds both in the pool area and premium area, but you did need to go out a 7am if you want to choose the best ones as they were all reserved with towels by the time the reaturant was opened. It's quite sad as we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel before they 'modernised' it but were put off from revisiting because of the comments regarding the glass bathrooms. As we visit Gran Canaria a couple times a year we thought we'd try it again. The bathrooms were in fact not really a problem as long as you accepted the shower tray was the same level as the room so flooded the floor and nowhere to put towels to reach when you came out the shower. However, we won't be back as the hotel is not comfortable. Sad really, as Guest Services were so helpful, but obviously not able to change the bad design of the Hotel. Also, many thanks for the restaurant and Bar staff who were all very helpful and did their best to make our stay the best they could.
