Hilton Garden Inn Hotels in Samarkand

The hotel itself was very clean. However, perhaps due to an issue with the hotel's facilities, there was a water outage, so I couldn't take a shower or flush the toilet. Up to this point, I could have forgiven it, but when I checked out, I was charged for the laundry service, which I didn't use. I thought that if I had used it, there would be some kind of written documentation, but when I asked for one, they said there wasn't. It left a bad taste in my mouth during my stay.

The hotel is in a tourist resort. There are no residents or businesses nearby. There are only some amusement rides, but they don't seem to be open. It's very quiet. There are four or five hotels of the same level nearby. If you drive there, there are plenty of parking spaces downstairs. You will get a small ticket on the rolling mill when you enter the park, and you can get another parking ticket at the hotel to leave for free. The room is not as big as in China, but all kinds of supporting facilities are in place

There was a misunderstanding with my previous booking for another property in the same wellness complex near Samarkand, but when I got to the nearby Hilton Garden Inn Sogt instead, I felt in good hands from the first minute - and all there was perfect, at least for my understanding. Cozy, warm, quiet and simply, but stylishly furnished rooms, amazing bed and bathroom, huge TV (which I didn't use for a second, but it's nice to know you have one), and all this - in a very peaceful, quiet and beautiful surrounding. Probably the best hotel service you can get in Samarkand, is in that area. Airport is 20 minutes away, similar is the time to the downtown and historic area of Samarkand. Yandex taxis are available day and night, and their rates are something you can't even dream of in the Western world.
