Family-friendly Hotels in Salou

The bedroom was a really bad it was too small the air conditioning didn’t work and there help with portaventura was utterly bad when they say they have got the best things and the most helpful about portaventura because me and my dad wanted to buy fast track for dragon khan we went on the machine to buy the tickets and the most annoying part about it was that the fast track WASNT even for that ride so we went to get a refund and put a report in and they said that we will get the €20 back between 7-10 days and now it has been 14 days and they still haven’t gave my dad the money back yet. There was another problem with portaventura because me and my dad went to go on dragon khan because we waited in the cue after we put the report in and I usually give my phone to my dad to put in the bag and we get it after the ride and I forgot to ask him to put it into the bag and I know it was my own fault for forgetting but then my phone slipped out so we went back to the hotel and go in the pool to relax and calm down a bit and because I have this skin condition and I have to go in the pool with at-shirt on we was going in the pool the lifeguard said that I am not allowed to go in the pool in my t-shirt so my dad was trying ti explain why and they said tuff it’s his own fault and I can’t physically put a skin condition on myself and I do feel bad for other people who have a skin condition and if you have a skin condition I WOULDNT recommend going to dorada palace and I don’t want it to happen to anyone else. Another reason why I WOULDNT go to portaventura and dorada palace again is because as I explained before I lost my phone and you know what it’s like when a teenager looses his/hers phone so me and my dad signed in to iCloud find devices on google and at 8:30 in the morning someone answers the phone and all we could here was the music in the background and they answered for 48 secs and we watched him go around the park and when he got to the exit he turned it off then the next day he took the SIM card out and took my phone and the park said there is nothing they can do about it because they DIDNT do it apparently and my holiday was good at sometimes but the hotel was a dump and the breakfast food was the worst thing I have tasted in my life HORRIBLE i couldn’t tell who how bad it was, there was sausages full of bones the eggs were green, the pancakes were black cereal was soggy utterly DISGRACEFUL and I don’t want this to happen to anyone else because I don’t want other people to wasn’t there money on this bad hotel and we have agreed this place is never getting money off us again and as I said hopefully this helps some other people and hopefully they choose a different BETTER place than here so best off luck dorada palace hope you all get nothing and be POOR and that review was off me so. IM NOT COMING BACK!

Very nice hotel and fantastic buffet breakfast. The only downside is that we were two couples in different rooms and one had a single large bed and the other two beds together. Very good location to spend two days in the park. Very kind employees.

No loss is the villa hotel, the scenery is very good, the facilities are good, there is a swimming pool on the first floor, all aspects are more convenient, next to the Ferrari amusement park, is the 18 euro buffet to drink water need to pay separately

We have spent 12 incredible days (22.09.2024-04.10.2024) in the hotel Blaumar. It is located in a picturesque area in the middle of Salou, in a close neighbourhood to the beach. The territory of the hotel includes wide paths for walks along the coast, free pools with lounges and towels. Staff cleaned our room and changed bed linen every day. The rooms are very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is very delicious and with good variety. The restaurant is perfectly clean with a beautiful interior. Staff in the restaurant and at the reception were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and we will come back here again.

We booked a last minute break here for October half term. Lovely family friendly hotel and a great location. We had a family room with a separate twin bedroom for the children. Room was spacious and clean. Standard of cleanliness was great, cleaner came everyday made beds, cleaned floors, bedroom and changed our towels. Exceptional effort made at the hotel for Halloween with decorations and the staff dressed up on the day, the children loved it. We booked half board and there was always a good selection of various foods to suit everyone’s tastes. Every member of staff we came across were friendly. We had a very pleasant stay here and would recommend.

We visited the hotel mid November for 4 nights. The hotel was quite on weekdays, therefore breakfast choices were also limited, but as more guests arrived for the weekend it got better. On our first day the hotel suffered a watercut and there wasn't any water for at least 6hours which was very inconvinient. They never offered any compensation because of it or at least a free drink or something. The hotel was clean, but basic, only shower gel was available, no other toiletries. Rooms wall were very thin, and our neighbours very loud. The hotel is close to Portaventure and not a long walk to the beach. It was ok for sleeping somewhere, although bed was very firm, but for a summer holiday I wouldn't choose this hotel.

A pleasant, fresh, clean hotel, staff responsive, less than 10 minutes walk to the sea, is located in a quiet, quiet place, noise under the windows is not heard, while to all entertainment facilities 10 - 15 minutes walk. Breakfasts are very delicious, take not regret! In our room there was no refrigerator, dishes, utug is issued on bail, safe for an additional fee.

The rooms are immaculate and everyting is in very good condition. Rooms are cleaned daily, reception staff are extremely helpful, grounds are lovely and plenty of seating around pool and poolside bar. The only let down is the quality and choice of food. Very much the same each day and not very appetising but there are plenty f places to eat out and you have a small kitchenette in your room. Beach is 5 minute walk and shops are 5-10 minutes away. Great location.
