Pet friendly Hotels Rovaniemi

Check in was quick loved my room. Tub is awesome the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great lots of options. The temperature in room was a bit cold. I spoke with front desk she said there was extra heaters. I declined it was just odd to me that room had no operating heat.

The Santa Holidays Village hotel is great for families. Be careful with the reservations you make on Trip, we reserved a chalet for 2 adults and 2 children, arriving for check-in we were told that Trip only reserved for two adults and therefore the children must be paid extra. It is not serious for TRIP not to communicate the true price upon reservation. This site lacks transparency (it just notes a remark saying that additional fees may be charged by the hotel for children without telling you how much and especially without telling you that they have only booked for two people). So the worst thing is to have a room that is not even suitable for a family. At Santa Claus we had to pay 30€/night per child (fortunately we had booked a chalet so it was big enough for 4). We had the same experience in another hotel over the same period (apukka resort) which charged us €100 per night per child in an igloo, fortunately the igloo allocated to us could accommodate 2 children otherwise we would have been without the possibility of accommodating 4 of us.

We are a family of 5 and booked 2 family rooms in this hotel. The rooms were big, compared to another Rovaniemi hotel that we stayed in and the amenities were wonderful. Free use of Sauna, 24hr gym, just located directed opposite the supermarket and most of all, the hotel has a microwave that you can heat up the food brought from the supermarket! What a deal!. Some areas for improvement, it would good if the Sauna can be 24hrs instead of closing at 10pm. If the hotel can provide utensils like spoon and fork it will be even more awesome. Overall our best stay in Rovaniemi for the price point, I think its a steal. Oh BTW, Burger King and McDonald is just opposite and 24hrs too.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the centre, it's a basic hotel which is clean, tidy and comfortable. Breakfast is more continental with 3 hot item available. The only downside to the hotel is their is no safe in the rooms so had to carry all personal items laptop, money, passport etc around with me all the time. The hotel did offer to put item in their own safe but decided against it. It didn't put me off staying here again and would return.

The hotel is located on the mountain east of the city. The environment is very quiet. It overlooks the Kemi River. The hotel is well decorated and feels very petty. The hotel has a rooftop, which is suitable for driving the aurora. There is a ski resort next to it. Convenient. If you rent ski equipment, you still need to go down to the mountain. The hotel’s breakfast is exquisite. I also had reindeer liver sauce. The hotel’s restaurant requires advance reservations and the dishes are very good. The disadvantage of the hotel is that the location is relatively remote, it is not convenient if it is not for self-driving. Extra bed and breakfast for children will be charged 35 Euros. The hotel does not provide slippers and toothbrushes.

The Arctic City Hotel was located in a prime spot, perfect to explore the city of Rovaniemi as well as reach the tour operators (our tour operator was Nordic Unique Travels, and they were right across the street). The room was fine, nothing special but had everything you needed, and the bed was quite comfortable. In a lot of other reviews you’ll read negative things about the shower, which we can indeed confirm: super small and water floods half of the bathroom, but then again: when you’re in Lapland, you won’t stay in your room that much anyways! The people who worked at Arctic City Hotel were all very nice, special shoutout to Diana from the front desk! We also had a great vegan dinner at Monterosa, a restaurant part of the hotel. Vegan breakfast was limited. We would highly recommend the hotel if you’re out and about during your stay, and just need a comfortable place to sleep!

The front desk of the hotel is very friendly. The environment and facilities are very good. It is close to the street and is very convenient. There is a bus to Santa Claus Village near the hotel. It is very convenient. The hotel's breakfast is very rich. Highly recommended.

The hotel room is not very big and the bathroom is a bit crowded. It can be seen that the decoration has been for a long time, but the health is very very clean. All staff are great. The breakfast is also great. I also prepared a lot of guide information in Chinese to go to Santa Village by car. Very convenient from the airport to the hotel by bus 7 Euros like most European hotels do not provide free disposable slippers and toiletries

The best hotel I stayed in during the entire Nordic trip, although it was expensive. But the location is good, the room is big, the facilities are new, and the front desk service is good. The window sill view is good. The whole thing is super awesome It is recommended to try the hotel’s sauna, it’s a great experience! recommend!

🚗 Traffic: The only drawback is that it's really far away and you can take a taxi anywhere. There is a hotel special bus in the morning but it's missed. Everything else is fine.
