Don’t usually say this but I was truly blown away with the decor and design of this hotel! We had ‘loft’ room in the older part of the building with high ceilings which was beautifully decorated throughout, with three huge windows which we were able to open - something I really appreciate in hotels. Large desk and seating area was great for working and for the night we chose to order in, staff even gave us plates and silverware for our order which was a nice touch. Also really appreciated the separate shower and toilet rooms as well as the underfloor heating, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! Didn’t use the restaurant but the bar area was beautifully decorated and had a good atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and also allowed us to leave luggage upon check out. Super handy for the tram too and a lidl underneath, would definitely stay again.

My husband and I recently took a bicycle trip to Holland and spent one night at the Marriott in Rotterdam. We only wish that every hotel on our trip was as good as this. The Front Desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful -- they had a special place to lock-up our bikes, helped us do that, spent time with us reviewing a map of the city to decide what to do and where to go, and emailed us additional information. The hotel is in a great central location, across from train station and in walking distance to a lot of sites. The rooms are good-sized, totally modern (great bathrooms!), very quiet, cool (it was warm and we needed air conditioning) and internet worked perfectly. Breakfast is served in a nice room with a great view of the station/city; friendly staff, hot items are cooked to order and the buffet is full of any item you might want. We're just sorry to we only stayed one night.

This hotel offers a prime, central location, arguably the best in Rotterdam compared to other hotels in the city. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly, and hospitable, making for an enjoyable stay. However, the furniture is outdated and in need of refurbishment. The chair at the writing desk in my room was sunken and uncomfortable, which was particularly inconvenient during my business trip, as I needed to use the desk frequently.

From the time we walked through the front door to when we left two days later all was perfect. The staff very happy and helpful. The room was very nice and well appointed . We chose this hotel because it is connected to-the Rotterdam Cruise Terminal. It is close too many eateries. Ifwe return in the future we will rebook. This is a five star hotel. Thanks all.

The hotel is very close to the airport which is of course handy. Full marks for location. However sadly the staff at this hotel simply either don’t listen to the client or fail to action things they’ve agreed to do. I checked in and after a lot of typing by the receptionist got my room key. The room turned out to be next to the elevator (which I asked not to have) and so I went downstairs to change. The receptionist apologised and issued another room on a higher floor. Guess what - just one room further along for the elevator, which takes some doing because the corridors are very long! Got to the room. Loads of coffees and teas but no kettle. I went down and asked for one - was told it would come up shortly. No sign of it after an hour so asked a maid. She said she would get one - guess what - never arrived. Finally went down again and spoke to another receptionist. This time one arrived but really it shouldn’t be this hard to get a coffee! Breakfast. Pretty mediocre. Burnt bacon and solid scrambled egg. Could do better. Such a shame - this hotel could be a gem if the management got a grip and sorted out the service.

The hotel is a short distance from the subway station. It is suitable for self-driving. It takes 5 minutes by car to the pr parking lot. Take the subway. Parking is free. Don't stay here without a car. Hotel is not bad
