"New World hotel is truly a world class hotel. The hotel layout is huge and the hotel lobby leading to the lift lobby has mesmerising ceiling art not unlike Sistine Chapel. Check in was quite swift. We met Ki Ki and she is indeed very kind, helpful and patient with us; going beyond extra miles in helping us navigating the city, booking cab, introducing good restaurants & even helping us to find & locate our ancestor's village by contacting the relevant association! I have to say she is a true gem in the hotel! Our heartfelt gratitude and appreciations go beyond words for her."

"The hotel is relatively new as compared to some of the other ones in the neighborhood. The room we booked was nice and clean. Unfortunately, they don’t have a fridge in the room which is inconvenient. The breakfast included was plentiful but quality is mediocre. But, this is no complaints considering this used to be a rural area of Kaiping. There are a few variety stores in close proximity that you can get some fruits and drinks so that is good. Will stay there again next time."
