B&B Hotel Roma Tuscolana San Giovanni - Photo Gallery

This hotel was an amazing experience. The staff were all lovely helpful and friendly. The essentials in the little shop next to the reception desk was a handy touch. There's a natural spring just a minute walk from the hotel which is helpful for topping up water bottles. As a female solo traveller I was worried about picking a safe location I always felt safe walking to and from the metro and around the local area even when it was dark. Everything you need is nearby and easy to get around from the hotel. The buffet breakfast was good. The hotel atmosphere was calm which was good for me as I don't drink so didn't want a chaotic environment. I booked a room with a terrace I did feel slightly awkward when other people were using theirs too as it's not very private but I think that's more of a me problem it was still really nice to have that space to enjoy the hot weather when resting at the hotel. The air con was amazing and handy to have a smart TV with YouTube.

Good chioce for the first time in Rome. 10 mins walk to metro. The hotel staffs are nice friendly and helpful. The room very clean, bed comfortable. breakfast very good. Nothing to complained, Just if back to hotel late at night the road is a bit dark, but walking from main street not far to hotel.

Not a bad experience at this hotel, close to metro and train which is helpful and walking distance (although long) from San John Lateran and the city centre if you are a keen walked. Cleanliness was very bad though with mouldy shower, leaking bathroom tap and broken towel holder. Breakfast was very good. Service was good and helpful. A bit overpriced but with a but of lceaning/ maintenance would be a great place to stay

Basic room, no coffee/tea in the room… When asked to move on upper floor, was told extra €25?!? Would like to know what the other rooms are like as these are not economy but standard????

Breakfast was included, which was convenient. It's just a short bus ride to Rome city center, and there are supermarkets and bars nearby, so it's good value for money.

Firstly, the location is great, allowing direct travel to attractions such as the Pantheon and the Colosseum within half an hour. You can take a direct train to the airport, which is very convenient. However, the overall room is rather dilapidated and the hygiene needs to be improved. The TV in the room has smart TV, which is good. Free breakfast is provided, but the selection of breakfast items is limited, and most of them are bread and hard. There is no drinking water service, which is inconvenient and the service is not very friendly.

It was a pleasant surprise to stay here. I booked this hotel on my last day in Rome. After having pizza with my friends, I dragged my suitcase to find a seat at around 10pm. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the subway station. It is a little uphill. Since it was night and there were not many people on the road, the buildings next to it were also empty. I was a little worried. I didn't expect that after walking into the hotel lobby, the front desk was spacious and bright, and there were many guests sitting in the lounge area. I immediately felt relieved. Hahaha. The uncle at the front desk greeted me very warmly. There was a small shelf next to it selling travel daily necessities and snacks. I bought sparkling water and biscuits by the way to catch the flight the next morning. The room rate was very affordable. I didn't expect that it also included a breakfast, which was quite rich with bread, ham, fruit, yogurt, coffee, etc. The price-performance ratio was good. The next day, I walked directly to Tuscolana train station and took the airport. I boarded the plane smoothly. I will stay at this hotel next time I come to Rome
