The grounds are amazing, with a beautiful garden and a nice swimming pool, while the room was also nice and comfortable (I was upgraded due to some construction works). The staff was very friendly. The location is a bit out of town, but easily walkable and in a quiet neighborhood, so overall a good location. Bicycles are provided for free to clients, which is a nice touch."

"I love everything about this hotel. I actually booked it at the very last minute as I had to cancelled the other hotel due to incorrect date. Room was so spacious, very clean, and the breakfast spread was not bad too. If you are vegetarian, you may ask them to make new ones if they have it. Pool was really great, staff was extremely helpful & friendly. Do not worry if the location is just a bit out of the centre, they have free shuttle services & pick up too. The spa massage was amazing too. And i love that they also provide free shuttle to train station or airport if you stay 2 nights. Do not hesitate to book this hotel!"

"We really liked staying in this hotel! The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. The staff is friendly. The swimming pool is so good to refresh during the hot day. Breakfast is also ok. Great location and value for many. Would definitely recommend."

"Located in the old town between the Mekong River and the Nam Khan River, it is within walking distance of major tourist attractions such as Wat Xieng Thong, Royal Palace Museum, Mount Phousi, and the Night Market. Bicycle rental is free. There is a hotel app, and if you download it, you can request amenities and cleaning from the app. I downloaded it, but in the end I never used it. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The TV was a smart TV. There were oranges and longan as welcome fruits. There was a safety deposit box. In addition to a coffee maker, there were also tea bags. Snacks were charged. I think they said that one soft drink and one alcoholic drink were free in the refrigerator. Maybe it was one bottle per night. When I took a shower, the toilet was flooded, but there were rubber sandals. When I checked in, I was able to choose my favorite soap, so I chose lemongrass. There were not many guests staying at the first night's breakfast buffet. The second night was a buffet. The food was very delicious. It was a comfortable stay and well worth the price."

"We booked the 2 bedroom apartment and it was immaculate and cosy all at the same time. Double balcony; fully equipped kitchen, open plan dining area and lounge and a very comfortable bed but the absolute highlight for me was the free standing bath (beside the shower big enough for a whole football team). There is secure door entry both at the room and the building, parking available, free bicycles to borrow and they can arrange a scooter too (i think it was 180k LAK a day). There is a washing machine on the balcony whihc is also free to use. Comes in handy after a few hours out in the dust."

"Everything was just like in the pictures. Super nice decoration. The room and its balcony were quite big. The taste of their breakfast was very nice, literally - only American breakfast's available, tho. Free bicycle ride. It's located in a quiet area, which is good. It's close to the aiming area (with Wat Sensoukharam scene on the back) but a bit far from the night/morning market, FYI. Unfortunately, there was a construction in front of the hotel so it was noisy during the day."

"My 4 night stay at The Grand Luang Prabang was excellent! The hotel is beautiful. It was a former palace during colonial times and I loved the plentiful lily pads, lotus flowers, and dok champa trees. The staff were also truly incredible. While the hotel is a bit far from downtown Luang Prabang, they were always willing to drive me there for dinner or to explore the night market, and it was really appreciated. If you want to have a special stay at a truly unique hotel, book with The Grand Luang Prabang, it will really add to your overall experience."

"The location is fantastic - one of the best in all of LP. Room was big, clean and well-appointed. Bed was very comfortable. Service was well-intended, but staff were not really well enough trained to handle issues or special requests effectively. "There are many hotels in Luang Prabang, each with its own characteristics. This hotel was renovated from the former home of the Lao prince. Although there are not many rooms, the public areas are very rich and it is an ideal place for vacation. The breakfast is great, with a Chinese menu. The waiter is very polite and thoughtful. After ordering rice noodles, the chili sauce that Chinese people love is immediately delivered, which really won my heart 🤗. The various breads for breakfast are also very delicious. People who don’t like bread have to eat two pieces every day! The front desk service is also standardized online, and the male waiters are generally more enthusiastic! The room cleaning is very thoughtful and meticulous, at least twice a day, keeping the room clean and tidy at all times! On the first day, the tip was placed on the bedside table, but they didn’t take it. On the second day, it was specially placed on the quilt and taken away. It can be seen that the service training is still very strict! The room is large and comfortable to live in. The bedding and bath towels are very comfortable! Talk about the shortcomings. The room is not very soundproof. The waiter cleans outside in the morning, and the sound is very clear. If you live downstairs, the sound upstairs is very clear. If you encounter people who go to bed late and get up early, it will affect the quality of rest downstairs. Another point is that the hotel does not have a pick-up service. Many hotels will provide pick-up and drop-off services within the town at any time, or even pick-up and drop-off services at the airport and high-speed rail. In addition, the hotel is a little off-site. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk to any place. It is impossible to walk under the scorching sun. You need to take a tuk-tuk every time. The price of tuk-tuks in Luang Prabang has skyrocketed in recent years. Even if you only take a five-minute ride, the starting price is 20,000 per person (about 6 yuan in total), and it is calculated per person. It is more expensive than taking a taxi in any major city in China! When going to the high-speed rail station, the price of the hotel's delivery is 25 US dollars, and I immediately ordered a 99 yuan delivery service on Mafengwo. Except for the fact that I was not satisfied with the trip, the hotel vacation was really good, and I should go there again in the future."
