We tried to check in around 12pm yesterday, were told not earlier than 3PM. In the morning, around 10:40am, the housekeeping knocked the door, asked us when to leave, I replied them, within 30 minutes to 45 minutes. 10 minutes later, a very angry face women hardly knocked the door, with frozen face to give us an order: YOU MUST LEAVE WITHIN 10 MINUTES, OTHERWISE CHARGE YOU...... We were shocked, and run out of the hotel before 11:15am. Very bad feeling of the housekeeping. A sad experience.

Overall not bad

It was a very friendly, no-frills accommodation. It was very spacious and easy to use. The breakfast was clean and good. However, the facilities were old and the bathroom had a bit of a smell.

The room was not well heated. For breakfast, we had to move to another building.

這裏的環境非常不錯，雖然説是在城市的郊區，但是這裏的鬆弛感很強，出門就是湖邊綠化，就站在房間也很大，住三四個人都沒問題。酒店的餐廳，雖然在另外一個位置，吃的東西很豐富。來這裏住能讓你真正體會到在歐洲家裡住的感覺。

房間很大，有一個客廳加房間，大到感覺可以住下一家人，就是前台跟住的地方不在一起，把我們給折騰了一番，

This was the dirtiest hotel that I have stayed in for a long time. The room was spacious, not overlooking the water as booked. The carpet was covered in old coffee stains. The manageress advised me, when I complained, that the hotel was very short of funds and therefore had no money for cleaning carpets and other furnishings. ( this made me question whether she was a manageress as it’s not the sort of conversation to have with guests) we stayed as we had unpacked but consequently did not eat in the hotel as we were unsure of the cleanliness in the main building. The hotel presents itself as a luxury stay, however, the basics are not taken care of. Checking out receptionist was horrified that we had such a reception at the check in.

Fourth stay for our family here. Very large rooms with small kitchenettes. All very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is main building is good. We didn't use the restaurant, but we had two really nice evening meals at the fantastic Beach Club, just a short stroll away from hotel (reservation required on sunny days). No airconditioning in rooms, but we were in garden suites and they were cool (even with 30+ degree weather). We rented bikes (excellent quality) from the hotel which is highly recommended with all the different cycle routes in the area.

Very nice hotel, nice spacious room and very large bathroom. Good clean. Breakfast was great with all the trimmings. Nice and hospitable employees who make you feel welcome. Good parking and a nice bicycle shed. Beautiful area for cycling and close to Roermond. Worth repeating.

Warm welcome, superb room with lounge area. Quality meal! An address that I highly recommend. A little corner of paradise. Very good base for visiting the region by bike. We will come back to this.

We stayed here for three days. The hotel is in a suburb of Roermond. You can reach Roermond city center in 15 minutes by bike. The outlet center can also be visited by bike. The hotel is located in a quiet location, right on the water. The surrounding area is perfect for a walk or a bike ride. Our suite was on the ground floor with a terrace. It was very spacious. With a fridge, microwave, coffee machine and kettle. The minibar (the fridge) contains a large selection of drinks and a few snacks at fair prices. It is refilled daily. The suite is very spacious, everything is clean and comfortable. The bathroom is very large with a shower and bathtub. The breakfast is good and varied. We ate in the restaurant once. Small menu, but very good. The prices are reasonable. The beach club is right on the water, but was unfortunately closed due to the time of year. Bicycles can be rented for €10 per day per guest. The staff are very friendly and accommodating in all areas. Everyone speaks German. We can recommend the hotel without reservation.

The “royal suite” is in urgent need of a makeover. Not a problem in itself, but that does not mean that the room cannot be neatly maintained... The suite was dirty upon arrival. Dust piled up in the corners, footprints on the floor of the toilet, and the smell that was unbearable, it seemed like a very spicy meal had just been prepared, after which the kitchen was poorly cleaned. The kitchen was grubby, the minibar had been emptied under the guise of a shortage of staff. Dirty towels were taken away but not replaced; After we reported this, the towels were replaced the next day. Served in the restaurant by a bossy, poorly trained, sloppy and unfriendly waitress. Fortunately, this did not apply to all employees. For the price, absolutely no longer the quality we were used to/expected.
