The surrounding environment is great. There is a shopping mall next to it, which is convenient for shopping. The rooftop has a good view. There is a swimming pool and a gym. The breakfast is also good. However, there was an oolong incident that required us to evacuate in the middle of the night.

1. The price is high and the room is small. 2. The WiFi is extremely poor and unbearable. Not suitable for business trips. 3. There are few breakfast varieties. 4. The rooftop view is good.

Impeccable hotel and attentive staff. The area is pleasant with a few restaurants around but still isolated, you have to take a taxi, UBER or a bus to get around because you are far from everything on foot. Magnificent beach but too strong current for swimming and the ocean is very cold. Really superb heated swimming pool at the top of the building and magnificent view. Top breakfast, there is something for everyone and the service is impeccable. after a really pleasant walk along the seaside (4 km) it is possible to have a metro line to go to the CENTRO which I did not find superb because there are many beggars and beautiful old facades that are completely dilapidated and which threaten to collapse at any time it is a shame to let this heritage go.

The hotel is in a very good location , 15 min walking from the beach. Nearby the bridge, so we didn’t need to use the ferry boat to cross the river or walk long distances. Barra da Tijuca is perfect , the best beach ! Later we went to Copacabana but we regret don’t staying longer in Barra da Tijuca as we liked it more than Copacabana, the beach is cleaner, less people, more quiet .

The hotel is very good, well located, good breakfast, friendly staff. Negative points: 1) we requested a room with a double bed when booking, but when we arrived in the room, two single beds were made available, and the situation was only resolved at night. 2) I ordered lunch via Ifood, and checked out the room. The hotel didn't let me eat my meal on the hotel's premises, and it was very uncomfortable not having a place to eat. I had to eat in the car.

This hotel is a great stay in Barra. Like a lot of hotels in Rio, this one is old. The place has some relics of the last century: the phone is old, the furniture is old, etc. However, it makes up for it in other ways. The service is excellent at this property. The breakfast is very good, the room service is great and cheap, and all of the staff from doormen to bellhops to reception are attentive and professional. The breakfast attendants are more professional than most local waiters. You will get excellent service here. The hotel is also very pretty despite its age. The hallways and lobby are large, and it looks premium. The location is incredible if you like Barra. We only stayed one night, but we had a decent side view of the ocean from our room, and we easily had enough time for a nice walk on the beach before check-out. Windsor Barra Hotel is a great value; stay here if you value service and excellent access to Barra’s beach.

The only negative point is that at the morning someone from the neighborhood seemed to have a outbreak, hit the wall we woke up afraid, made me lose my sleep, after I could sleep, I woke up again with the same noise, with a view to the adoption of the decision,

Overall, it is comfortable and convenient. There is a beach opposite the hotel and there are staff to maintain order. It is not bad for a vacation. But the sea view room is different from expectations, the view is as shown in the picture. The restaurant tastes good.

Positive points: great location inside the shopping mall, easy access, easy check-in, VERY good breakfast, good bed, clean room. Bad points: During my stay the shower didn't get hot, the technician came to the room, turned on the heater and it still didn't get hot. The towels were very old, worn, frayed. But overall I recommend the hotel and would stay there again.
