This is a fun hostel, huge in size, if you are looking for madness you will find plenty here!

Very fun place, not too "modern" in the sense that it wasn't a soulless expat place for people who don't care about actually learning about more local experiences. Perfectly situated two blocks away from Copacabana. Staff were very friendly.

Hygiene might be better bus sometimes common where many backpackers are staying.

It was better than I expected. The location is relatively safe in Rio. It is surrounded by supermarkets, restaurants, and pharmacies. It only takes a few minutes to reach the beach. I feel very satisfied. I don't care about the atmosphere of a youth hostel. There aren't many people living here, and it's generally reserved. It's just like a hotel, not quite like a youth hostel. The older man at the front desk is very nice. Although he doesn't speak English, he is very enthusiastic every time. If I go there again, I will choose to stay again.

The price is reasonable. It is only a few minutes walk from the beach. There are many supermarkets and beach outdoor equipment stores nearby. There is a public kitchen. There is no locker of your own. Please keep your valuables properly.
