Save yourself the trouble and stay in Copacabana. The customer service here at this hotel is the worst I have ever experienced. Which is unfortunate because brazil is typically on a whole different level in regards to customer service. The paid parking is not valet style parking but just self parking in the mall parking lot. There was no one to help with luggage. The front desk hardly answered our calls. The room was not cleaned well, we found used eye lashes in the bed, mirrors unwashed with dust and finger prints, shower doors covered in water stains, stone shower walls yellowed. Bedroom door stuck to the frame so very hard to open/close. (we thought the keycard was wrong because it wouldn't budge). We left for hours and returns to our room not cleaned yet, maids thought we didn't speak Portuguese and disrespectfully talked about our interactions with them as we waited for the elevator. Maids wouldn't leave towel, and it took hours for anyone to come bring towels back to our room. No one told us the pool was going to have a construction zone literally feet away. Jackhammering and all. And the wifi was unsecured. Would let you connect but didn't actually work. The experience was so bad we left after only a few days of our week stay.

The hotel is completely abandoned. The third floor smells rotten and musty, the room we stayed in is completely musty, with a dirty and completely black headboard, dirty curtains with visible mold, apparently never washed. The air conditioning is missing parts, there is no display, no panel, just a hole in the equipment, broken blades held together with folded paper, the receptionist gave us some duct tape to hold the blades together, because the air conditioning is above the bed, blowing the wind directly at you. Horror show. Run away from this hotel, there are MUCH better options for the very high price they charge.

Very good rooms with a beautiful view, breakfast with variety, only the pool is a little small.

The fact that it was inside a shopping mall and had an agreement with Body Tech was a great surprise.

The room smelled of cigarettes, clearly the previous guest had smoked. The room's cleanliness and hygiene left something to be desired, the bathroom sink was clogged, and the bath linen and bed linen were stained.

Points for improvement: The hotel has an inadequate pool location, with the view blocked by a film. The pool was very dirty, with dirt and cloudy water. There was no control whatsoever. The air conditioning had a broken blade and was held in place by a bag of sugar. The bathroom was not very clean. The TV was not connected to the Wi-Fi. Positive points: The room was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, the service was very good, the location is good despite being far from the beach, and the breakfast, although it had many gluten-free options, had several savory dishes.

Located in a commercial area and less than 10 minutes from the beach by car. Very friendly staff. Comfortable, modern and very clean rooms. Complimentary coffee in capsules and mineral water in the room. Welcome drink at the bar located on the terrace next to the pool.

Cozy and comfortable room. Breakfast with varied options. Excellent value for money in Barra da Tijuca.

Positive points: great location inside the shopping mall, easy access, easy check-in, VERY good breakfast, good bed, clean room. Bad points: During my stay the shower didn't get hot, the technician came to the room, turned on the heater and it still didn't get hot. The towels were very old, worn, frayed. But overall I recommend the hotel and would stay there again.
