Worst hotel I've stayed in my life. Staff look like they could not be bothered with anything. No service at all from the front desk. No one picks up the phone when calling. Room was dirty. Pillows, bedsheets, curtains etc were all stained. Basin was leaking. Rooms did not have ledge to double lock. key cards kept malfunctioning so we had to reset it with the front desk every time we left the room. Elevator takes incredibly long and makes creaking sound as though the last wire would snap and the whole thing would free fall. Breakfast was chaotic, like a market. Food felt like it came out of a military cookhouse. Plates and cups still had remnants of food on them. Lobby was incredibly tiny and packed. Felt like the entrance of a ******* especially with people smoking at the door most of the time. WiFi sucks. Couldn't load emails half the time and forget about anything with photos and videos. Hotel was also extremely strict about check in and check out time. So for the most part of the day, the lobby looks like a gathering place for the homeless. Hotel also charges to keep your luggage for you. This is ridiculous, especially for a hotel that charges USD 50/night and claims to be a 3-4 star property. No way this hotel deserves more than a 2 star. Even that would be a very generous rating. You would be better off with the 3 star IBIS hotel next door.

The hotel is in a good location with friendly staff. The rooms have most things you would need and the swimming pool is on the roof

Not too bad

The hotel is 390 meters away from Copacabana Beach. The location is good. The entrance to the hotel is right next to the subway station. It is very convenient to use the subway service. There are many choices for breakfast. The price/performance ratio is good. It is recommended to stay.

The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The water pressure of the bathroom tap is low and the breakfast is rich. The hotel is conveniently located, with many restaurants around. It is 70 meters away from the subway entrance. It is a recommended budget hotel for traveling in Rio de Janeiro

The hotel is very well located, just a few meters from Copacabana beach and next to a metro station.

Unfortunately, that's why it didn't work in the rooms I showed.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It is a good option when you choose to stay in Copacabana. The beach and many restaurants and shops are 4 blocks away. The breakfast is good. The bed is comfortable. The air conditioning worked well.

The experience was good, but the cleaning needs to be improved. Our room was dirty for a whole day and asking for towels to shower was complicated and we had to complain twice until they provided them. Another issue was the line for breakfast. Apart from these problems, the rest was good. They need to improve the cleaning of the rooms.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated very well. The breakfast was excellent and the facilities and room were very clean.

Very well located hotel, breakfast ok, nice and clean rooms. There was a slight problem with the system with the room that was booked, but the staff was super competent and resolved it quickly, so it didn't get in the way at all.

The hotel atlântico rio is in decline, I have stayed there 4 times since 2017, but this last stay in 03/2024 was regrettable, the drop in services, the quality of the breakfast and one thing that left me very disappointed, is the fact if you arrive before check-in time, which is 2pm and need to store your bags to leave, they charge you R$ 30.00. This is absurd, as I already had my accommodation paid for, I questioned that my stay was already over. guaranteed and it was already paid for through the Trip platform, I wouldn't use the hotel's services without staying, it's the first time I've seen this in a hotel! In short, they don't know how to captivate guests, they just want to shamelessly suck up, it's a hotel that was once good, but is now falling into disrepair, I don't recommend it! There are better hotels around and with similar prices, I regretted staying there, I didn't know the quality had dropped so much! The only good thing about the hotel is the location, that's all!
