"I chose the Baanfahsai (บ้านฟ้าใส) hotel almost randomly but was pleasantly surprised. The room is simply excellent! The hotel turned out to be wonderful! ✅ Definitely recommend to everyone: - Perfectly clean and cozy room - Great sea view from the balcony - Delicious breakfast - Located just three minutes away from Na Ban Pier - Friendly staff This is the best option for those looking for comfort and beautiful sea views. "I stayed here for two nights and woke up on my birthday while looking at a beautiful sunrise over the Gulf of Thailand / Gulf of Siam. We stayed in the Panoramic Double Room, and I think our balcony was about as big as our room! We had great views of the water and mountains, and it was super peaceful. The reservation included breakfast for two, AND we also got a complimentary motor bike (with free gas) during our stay. *** I had read about the motor bikes in other reviews and was skeptical, but our reservation did include the motor bike. (Maybe it depends on which type of room you book). The breakfast was nice, and I could hear birds chirping as I drank my coffee each morning. We took the motor bike to Samae Beach one day, but I made sure we came back to the room before sunset because I knew it would be a beautiful view from our balcony. One night we walked to a nearby restaurant by the water and had dinner. The only down sides were: There were some ants in our room (but that is normal in Thailand), and a nearby club played loud music one night. Overall, I loved the place and would stay there again in the future."

"The room was very clean, but my room was a corner room, with a window facing the wall of the neighboring house and there was cleaning equipment there, there was also a wooden door to the pool, the entrance door is also wooden, there are cracks and a cockroach crawled into the room in the evening. I am very afraid of them, it was big for me, I threw a book on it, it crawled out from under it, then I finished it off with my book🙈. I slept with the lights on everywhere at night, I was afraid that more cockroaches would crawl in, I think it climbed through the window (but it was closed), I also kept the doors to the pool and the room closed. It was a terrible experience, I am very afraid of them. Before checking in, I asked the girl at the reception if there was a room on the 2nd floor, they said no, then I asked if cockroaches or snakes would crawl in, they said that this does not happen to them, the main thing is to close the doors. But I closed it, and the cockroach climbed into my room anyway🙈. The staff is friendly, the room is clean, but there may be such ”guests”, I wouldn't wish it on anyone🙈. There are also a lot of dogs on the island at night, it's impossible to just walk, they attack and bark, you can only ride a bike, take care of yourself!"

"Very nice and nice hotel, we just fell in love with the gazebos in the center, we didn't want to leave them at all. Despite the fact that the hotel is located by the road, the rooms are very quiet and comfortable. If we go to Koh Lan again for the night, we will stay here again!😍"

"When we arrived, which might prove difficult for some to find, Martin, the owner was just on his way out. He immediately turned back and greeted us and explained the room we had booked wasn’t ready yet as we were several hours before booking in time. We knew this but he kindly allowed us to leave our overnight bags in storage as such so we could go exploring. Martin, being an Englishman, like myself, had a good old chin wag about several topics. On arriving back from our walkabout, and still earlier than booking in time, Martin said our room was ready and a lady led us there. Best room in the house with simply the best view. Just four choices for breakfast but catered for most palates. Martin found time to natter whenever l went to him for advice about where to eat, beaches etc and nothing was too much trouble. A fine host running a fine hotel."

"Location is in the island center, so although no sea view they have a complimentary shuttle service to two beaches, which is quite convenient. Overall nice hotel, well kept and clean, with Italian theme. Rooms are nice. Breakfast a bit weak in choice and a bit too many rules to be given customers to sign and read at check in."
