The B&B is in the alley of West Street. It was a bit hot on the day we went there. The housekeeper's electric car came out to take the suitcase in. The room had been air-conditioned in advance. It was clean and tidy, the shower water was very comfortable, and it was very quiet at night. I slept well every night. There was enough bottled water, and a refrigerator magnet was given on the day of check-out. Quanzhou not only has many historical sites, but the people here are also relatively simple. Moreover, after May Day, there are fewer people, and the experience is better. It is worth coming.

GGuest UserThe best hotel I've stayed in Quanzhou. Not only did the price not increase during the May Day holiday, the service was also better. There were a lot of snacks, free laundry service, which was very good. On the way back, they also gave me local snacks, which was very humane. If I come to Quanzhou again next time, I will definitely choose you. Thank you☺️
GGuest UserThe environment of the homestay is very comfortable. The reception auntie was very good (we didn't bring a power bank, so the auntie directly brought one to our room and replaced it at any time if it ran out of power). The breakfast was also very rich and you could take it to the yard to eat. It was very comfortable. The auntie was also very enthusiastic and would accompany us to buy local specialties. The experience was really great
GGuest UserI personally think that the boss's service is very good. On my first day, he sent me a guide and recommended delicious meals. He also made a local breakfast for us (I didn't eat it because I was shy). I asked the boss for the WeChat of renting an electric bike, and she actually gave me her bike for free for two days. We can chat and drink tea together. I think the service is really good.
The room is cost-effective, but one thing is that because this is the first day I stayed, I renewed the lease and changed the room. The bathroom leaked a little, but it didn't affect it.
Overall, the house is cost-effective, I like it very much, and I can talk to the boss very well (I forgot to take pictures, sorry, because I think it's pretty good)
XXuanzihelenFacilities: The decoration is petty bourgeoisie. Hygiene: Very good. The service staff are all young. In the scenic area, very close to West Street, very convenient to go anywhere. Everything in the room is complete. There is also a projector. I didn't have afternoon tea because the schedule was too tight. The view outside the window is pleasant. Worth recommending.
AAngelineTPRI recently had the pleasure of staying at Intercontinental Quanzhou, and I must say, the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff, Lucus greeted me with warmth and professionalism, making me feel instantly at home. Check-in was seamless, and they even offered a toy doll to my daughter, which was a thoughtful touch.
The room was spacious, immaculate, and well-appointed, with all the amenities I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. What really stood out, though, was the attention to detail. Every part of the hotel, from the lobby to the dining area, exuded elegance and care.
The breakfast were also fantastic. The varieties of foods were huge and the food was delicious,
Throughout my stay, the concierge team provided excellent recommendations for local attractions, and the housekeeping staff kept the room in pristine condition. I also appreciated the seamless checkout process, making for a smooth end to an outstanding stay.
All in all, intercontinental delivered a world-class experience, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, stress-free getaway. The combination of top-tier service, beautiful surroundings, and attention to detail made this a stay to remember.
EEvaThe hotel is overall clean and cozy. Areas requiring improvement is the toilet door which is quite heavy to slide sideways. Moreover, the staff service in the morning buffet session needed improvement. For example, the waitress was too fast in cleaning up the plates when we were still eating which caused disturbance. The staff who refilled the porridge did not clean up the food she spilled. Furthermore, the staff responsible for cooking the noodles pulled a long face. I don't mean to be picky but the staff service definitely require improvement in order to claim itself a 5-star hotel.
WWAN JULIANA EMEIH WAHEDMy Feedback for This Beautiful Hotel
Pros:
The hotel is beautifully designed, with a lovely tea scent everywhere—very inviting.
During check-in, the staff upgraded our room to a larger one on a higher floor (Room 1913), which we absolutely loved!
The room is spacious and has everything you need.
One of the cleaners, an elderly lady, was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Despite the language barrier, we communicated using hand gestures and Google Translate.
On our first night, we were looking for a place to have dinner, and the lady at the lobby counter was very helpful—she even assisted us in booking a Didi.
A convenience store is located just across the building.
The laundry room is well-equipped and very convenient.
The hotel also gave us complimentary gifts and fruits after check-in, along with two bottles of mineral water. Upon check-out, we received more free gifts—such a generous gesture!
Cons:
Since the hotel is next to a busy road, you can hear car honking quite often.
Unfortunately, none of the staff can communicate in English. If they could, our conversations would have been much smoother.
Overall:
I had an amazing stay in Quanzhou, and I would definitely choose this hotel again if I return to this province!
红红月I spent 6 nights at 2208. It had been saved on my Trip.com for many months before my summer holiday, so I was happy that they had availability for the week I planned to visit.
In order of importance for me as a solo (foreign female) traveler are: location, safety, and helpfulness of staff.
1. Location: I think the location is perfect. It’s on a small alley behind West Street and directly across from Kaiyuan Temple’s west gate. This area is very central and convenient.
2. Safety: Overall, the city is safe, but in reality it is nearby a main tourist destination, so to prevent non-guests from entering there is a gate with keypad access for late night. There was always staff inside at other times.
3. Helpfulness of staff: There were some language barriers due to my lack of fluency, but the staff tried to help as much as possible to make sure I was comfortable. If there was a problem it was resolved quickly and if I didn’t understand, they were patient and tried to explain it another way.
Other than these things, I’ll say there are actually two 2208 buildings in the same area. One has a view of Kaiyuan Temple from some rooms and from the rooftop; the other seems more modern but without this view. There is cleaning service available if you need it and free water bottles daily.
If you are looking for amenities such as a television or breakfast, maybe this is not a suitable option, but if you want a place to sleep nearby the best sites in Quanzhou, and have friendly staff greet you each day, then it’s a good choice.
YyuanguoruiSuper big room, there are three or four buildings here, all of which have balconies facing the beach, with good sound insulation, and super big room, more than 40 or 50 square meters. Although the washing machine got stuck after I used it once, it was quick to call someone to repair it. The environment here is very good, close to the beach, but you need to scan the code to pay or use the room to wash your feet. It happened that I checked out before going to the beach, so it was awkward. The area around the hotel is very prosperous, and shops, restaurants and foot massage parlors are open until 11pm. The outdoor swimming pool is open until 7pm, the indoor swimming pool is open until 10:30pm, and there is also a sauna and fitness room, which is very good, but it's a pity that we only stayed for one night. By the way, it's quite close to the ancient city, three or four minutes drive.
GGuest UserThe room was very clean and the lady at the front desk was very welcoming. The room is very quiet and great. I am very happy to stay in such a good hotel during my trip.
