Located at the fringe of the old town and that is a plus point for me because away from the busy tourist spots! This hotel has many nice local eateries at every corner and very easy to taste what the local eat! Front desk is very helpful especially a young gentleman 李向阳who went the extra mile to help us by giving good instructions on how to tour the old town efficiently.

Jun Jing Mansion is located in Quanzhou, the starting point of the ancient Maritime Silk Road, and was carefully built by Quanzhou Wenlv Group. The residence is located at No.11 Tongzheng Lane, the cultural core area of Quanzhou Ancient City. Tongzheng Lane, where it is located, is known as a "civil-military alley". There are not only the remains of the governor's mansion, but also the ladies' dressing building, one of the existing buildings in Quanzhou. There is also a century-old ancestral temple that inherits Quanzhou puppet culture and is adjacent to core attractions such as Kaiyuan Temple and Bell Tower. Relying on the cultural background of overseas Chinese criticism in southern Fujian, the mansion presents Nanyang style as a whole. The graphic files of overseas Chinese criticism in the mansion can let you know more about the hardships of overseas entrepreneurship of Minnan people.

The hotel is in the old city, and cars cannot enter. To get a taxi, you have to get off the street and walk in with your luggage. It takes about ten minutes to walk. The hotel sent a handsome guy to pick us up on the street and help carry the luggage in. The service was very thoughtful. The guys and girls at the front desk were very polite. The service attitude was very good. The location is very close to Kaiyuan Temple and West Street. It only takes a few minutes to walk. Very convenient.

The bedding at Atour is still as good as ever. The pillows are the latest and very comfortable and can be borrowed for free. The breakfast time is very long, which is suitable for people who get up late. There is also porridge to drink in the evening, which is very heartwarming.

**Quanzhou Wild·Sheye B&B (West Street Kaiyuan Temple Branch) in-depth experience review**
As a boutique B&B that has attracted much attention in Quanzhou recently, Wild·Sheye has become one of the benchmarks for cultural and tourism experience in the old city with its unique design concept and thoughtful service details. The following is an in-depth analysis from multiple dimensions for travelers' reference:
---
### **I. Core highlights analysis**
1. **Geographic location: an immersive entrance to the ancient city culture**
The B&B is located in Gantang Lane, Licheng District, and is within walking distance of core attractions such as West Street and Kaiyuan Temple, with a quiet living experience in the bustling city. The surrounding time-honored food (such as noodle soup, ginger duck) and cultural and creative markets are dense, suitable for tourists who want to explore the local culture of Quanzhou in depth.
2. **Spatial design: the collision of medieval style and natural aesthetics**
The large courtyard surrounded by green plants, the infinity pool and the rough stone walls form a visual impact, and the interior uses low-saturation tones with wooden elements to create a ”wild luxury” atmosphere. The design of the parent-child theme room is particularly attentive, and details such as the sand-digging area and childlike decorations meet the needs of family customers.
3. **Service experience: strategy-based thinking runs through the whole process**
Before check-in, a map of surrounding food and intangible cultural heritage tour routes (such as the guide to the experience of Xiapu women's hairpins) are provided. The front desk actively assists with luggage storage and taxi services, which is in line with the ”lazy-friendly” travel habits of young tourists. Disposable towels, toilet covers and other supplies are hygienic.

Excellent
GGuest UserThe environment of the homestay is very comfortable. The reception auntie was very good (we didn't bring a power bank, so the auntie directly brought one to our room and replaced it at any time if it ran out of power). The breakfast was also very rich and you could take it to the yard to eat. It was very comfortable. The auntie was also very enthusiastic and would accompany us to buy local specialties. The experience was really great
GGuest UserThe best hotel I've stayed in Quanzhou. Not only did the price not increase during the May Day holiday, the service was also better. There were a lot of snacks, free laundry service, which was very good. On the way back, they also gave me local snacks, which was very humane. If I come to Quanzhou again next time, I will definitely choose you. Thank you☺️
GGuntoubupahoThe hotel is located in a central prime location in a busy but relatively quiet side street, very convenient and close to everything you ever need. Plenty of attractions, restaurants, cafes and places of interest all within walking distance. We had a fantastic time here in Quanzhou with superb and hospitable weather all through the week, no withstanding the taiphoon passing nearby.
The facilities are modern, even an inhouse cafe/ restaurant which provides prompt services with near perfect tasty food and drinks. The room service on the low desk in the room made it the best and most memorable dining experience we had during the mini honeymoon. See the photos attached.
The staff esp the reception, even the cleaners, went out of the way to attend to every needs and request from us, always with a smile and highly professional disposition. I personally saw how they handled a particularly difficult client with such grace and calmness, which settled the impasse pretty promptly. I saw the client a few days later who was full of smiles, satisfaction and appreciation of the level of comfort and services she received.
I couldn't have been happier the 4 days staying and could have extended more days had there been rooms available. But I promise to return when the first opportunity avail itself.
The only suggestion I can give is to make the slippery floor in the toilet more slip resistant. Perhaps with some thin layer of anti slip mat whenever requested by more senior clients like me. I was extra careful going in and out each time, as the water ponded easily there .
ZZeederworldWe had a lovely one night stay Very helpful and friendly hosts who live in the adjoining building Location is perfect. In between West Street and Quanzhou Ancient City. About 20 to 30 mins walk to each direction.
The ginger duck dinner (10 mins walk) and taro fritter right at the back street of this mishu (both recommended by the host) were one of the best food throughout our Fujian trip. We appreciated the host allowing us to freeze our food and helped us arrange a driver to send us to Xiamen the next day. It's door to door at RMB70 per pax (if sharing the cab with others). Cheaper than didi + train + didi and less time consuming.
The room size is slightly on the smaller side but we don't mind as we were out all day. All the basic amenities needed are provided. Most important is its clean and comfortable.
As I booked using non-Chinese no and can't read Chinese, I did not receive notifications from host right after my Trip.com booking . We depended on Baidu map to guess the location after the taxi dropped us at the main road. Be prepared to walk 2 mins into small/back lane and to enter an unlock gate to enter the compound of 2/3 residential building cluster. A bit confusing for us but we managed to locate the minshu after 5 mins.
We wish we had more time for Quanzhou. Definitely worth at 2 nights. So much more to explore here.
GGuest UserWe extended our stay via trip.com easily and coordinated with the hotel to ensure we remained in the same rooms.
All went smoothly with great ease.
Hotel is as grand as they come, rooms are fantastic and comfortable.
红红月I spent 6 nights at 2208. It had been saved on my Trip.com for many months before my summer holiday, so I was happy that they had availability for the week I planned to visit.
In order of importance for me as a solo (foreign female) traveler are: location, safety, and helpfulness of staff.
1. Location: I think the location is perfect. It’s on a small alley behind West Street and directly across from Kaiyuan Temple’s west gate. This area is very central and convenient.
2. Safety: Overall, the city is safe, but in reality it is nearby a main tourist destination, so to prevent non-guests from entering there is a gate with keypad access for late night. There was always staff inside at other times.
3. Helpfulness of staff: There were some language barriers due to my lack of fluency, but the staff tried to help as much as possible to make sure I was comfortable. If there was a problem it was resolved quickly and if I didn’t understand, they were patient and tried to explain it another way.
Other than these things, I’ll say there are actually two 2208 buildings in the same area. One has a view of Kaiyuan Temple from some rooms and from the rooftop; the other seems more modern but without this view. There is cleaning service available if you need it and free water bottles daily.
If you are looking for amenities such as a television or breakfast, maybe this is not a suitable option, but if you want a place to sleep nearby the best sites in Quanzhou, and have friendly staff greet you each day, then it’s a good choice.
GGuest UserDuring the Chinese New Year, my family came to Quanzhou for a trip. We chose the Quanzhou West Lake Hotel by the West Lake. The facilities are very new. I like the decoration style. The popular light-seeing style can intelligently adjust the light in various scenes. The bedding is soft and very comfortable. The dry and wet separation is provided. The bathtub is equipped with a disposable bath bag. The hotel has a rich breakfast in Chinese and Western styles. The beef noodles are super delicious. There is a coffee machine and 55-degree health tea at the front desk. The front desk lady is professional and handles things quickly. Everyone has a beautiful smile. It is a very comfortable hotel to stay in. I sincerely recommend it
AAnonymous UserChecked in at 16:00 in the afternoon but the room was not cleaned yet. I urged for more than half an hour. The efficiency of the housing depar**ent was not high enough and the front desk could not do anything. After checking in, I found that the water in the bathtub was not hot enough to take a bath. There is another point that needs to be improved. The outdoor faucet said that it can be washed by swiping the room card, but the card swiping was invalid. Other than that, the seaside hotel and the beach recreational facilities are all OK, and it is convenient for children to play.
JJo78The hotel is beautiful although the location is a bit uneasy due to the Chinese sign board. Moreover, the interior accommodation is very good. There is a fridge, washing machine, hairdryer, hotwater, toothbrush, shower gel, electric kettle, TV, spacious for two or three people because there is a couch too. It has beautiful window view and feels like a homestay better than a luxurious hotel. I love to go back here.

GGuest UserThe hospitality of the host is what touched me the most. They not only provided a clean and comfortable accommodation environment, but also shared many stories about the local culture, which made my journey more rich and interesting. Every time I return to the B&B, I can feel the warmth like returning home.
The design of the room is simple and elegant, and every detail reveals the owner's care. The bed is soft and comfortable, ensuring a good sleep quality.
Finally, I want to say that this B&B is not just a place to stay overnight, it is more like a warm harbor on the journey. If you are looking for a place where you can relax and feel the local style, then this is definitely your best choice!
