Grand Hotel Qinhuang Reviews

A true 5 Star experience. The room is top notch with a large window overlooking the sea. Service is outstanding in all categories. Breakfast is full and rich. The hotel dinner buffet is so extraordinary that I say you must try it at least once! We were amazed at the variety of dishes and the quality. Hotel location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk and you can have your feet in the sand or water. The Qinhuang Alley Food Street is also within walking distance or very short cab ride. This food street is very lively and fun to visit especially in the evening. Two other recommendations for things to do are Lao Long Tou (Old Dragon Head) which you can get to by cab. And if you are a fan of the Olympics you really should visit Olympic Avenue Park. Amazing relief sculpture wall over 300 meters long portraying Olympic history. Must be seen to be believed. Thank you to all the friendly and professional staff and chefs at Grand Hotel Qinhuang for making our 4 night stay so enjoyable. Qinhuangdao is a wonderful city with so many different things to do and experience we hope we can return again.

Nice hotel, very close to the 🏖️ beach, love the breakfast and variety of food. Room cleaning was average but still the view and location is great 👍 swimming pool is good, laundry is convenient. Stayed there three nights , very much satisfied. We changed the dates of our stay for two times , satisfied with the service .

Good hotel! Comfy bed and very spacious room, with a great view. The breakfast was very good as well and the restaurant on the second floor was also great. The only complaint I have is the sink smells and makes the room smell bad. Best to keep the sinks plugged.

The hotel is very conveniently located to the beach and still close the city. Lao Long Tou was a 30 minute taxi ride. Whilst the restaurant is tasty, it caters for Chinese and western cuisine is limited. Not a problem if you enjoy Chinese cuisine :)

Good location; the hotel is right next to the beach 🏖, the service was okay. I just didn’t like the fact that I have to go down every day to call for the cleaners. Also the bathroom had a bad smell but once cleaned it was okay. It’s a little nice and cheap place to be, specially if you like the beach 🏝

I heard that it used to be the best sea view hotel, but now it is old. There is a corner of the sea view room where you can see the sea, but it is at the pier, and the beach is just across the road. The heartwarming midnight snack that Ctrip said it would give away was not there. The overall cost performance is not high, not as good as the Shangri-La nearby.

Satisfied, but why didn't they give me the ticket for Little Ant? The wonton for supper was delicious, recommended. Overall, I am very satisfied and will stay here again in the future. Good review!

When traveling to Qinhuangdao, I often stay in a hotel that is clean and tidy, with spacious rooms. Manager Fan upgraded me to a sea view room for free. The hotel has a superior geographical location, and you can enjoy the sea view from the room. It is the first choice for business travel.

Qinhuangdao, Qinhuang International, this is Mr. Lu's "nest" in Qinhuangdao (pronounced as "wozi" in the fourth tone. In Northeastern dialect, it refers to a place of dining and accommodation that is frequently visited). Hum! I'm back again! This is a hotel that has a close relationship with Mr. Lu. Time flies, and eleven years have passed in the blink of an eye. [Smile]

Comrade Zhan Weiqi at the front desk was very considerate. He introduced the hotel facilities in detail and helped us upgrade to a sea view room. He gave him a great praise. The room is spacious, fully equipped and has floor-to-ceiling windows with sea views. The restaurant is very large and has a variety of food. From the guidance in the parking lot to the reception at the lobby and the room service, the work is very regular and warm. It's very close to the seaside, just a few minutes' walk away.

The room is clean and tidy, the mattress is moderately soft and hard, the room can see the sea, and the beach is right across the road when you go out, which is very convenient.
