Hanting Hotel (Qingdao May Fourth Square Olympic Sailing Center) Reviews

I had a good stay at this hotel, not the best, but for the price it was more than I expected. The room was clean, practical and comfortable. The nice thing for me was the subway entrance (line 2) right in front of the hotel, it made it easy to go see places (see photo attached). The breakfast was average with choices of dishes leaning towards Eastern cuisine. I found it odd that they serve bread and jam, but no butter. The staff were friendly and helpful, but only one of them could speak a bit of English. This is definitely a good choice hotel if you're on a low budget, but still want to sleep in a confortable and clean bed. I'll definitely go back for another visit.

The hotel staffs are helpful & friendly. The breakfast is delicious, many cute buns! The hotel location is great, just few metre away from line 2, exit A, Yan'erdao Road station.

It’s a simple hotel, with a small room. But was ok for staying for 2 nights. It’s just in front of the metro, what is convenient. Important to mention that the rooms on the second floor are ONLY accessible trough stairs, no elevator.

advantage: - The location is convenient. The subway station is just outside the door, and it is very convenient to go to Shichangzhe and Vientiane City. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the Olympic Sailing Center. The street behind the hotel is full of Korean food that is on the must-eat list. Downstairs are two convenience stores, Starbucks, McDonald's and KFC. -The staff are very patient and friendly. Thumbs up to Wang Mingzhen, the cleaning lady on the 12th floor. I stayed in the hotel for a total of one and a half months, and the room was cleaned carefully and clean every time. -Breakfast is comprehensive, including fruits, vegetables, pastries and drinks. - There is a free washer and dryer. shortcoming: -The water temperature of the water heater is unstable. Almost every time I take a bath, I have to endure the hot and cold water temperature, which is more unstable than us girls. - The Internet speed is slow and downloading things is slow. Especially when watching videos on a computer, it is even slower.

The front desk service in the store is rude. I stayed in the store for several days and the bathroom was not cleaned for two days. The location is very good. It’s just a short walk away. Why doesn’t the hotel improve the service in such a good location? Come on, the mosquitoes here are so bad that my daughter bit her a lot. There is no mosquito coil in the hotel. Talked about my experience.

The location of the hotel is very good. The surrounding hotels and shopping malls are relatively complete. It is very convenient to go to the subway station. The size of the room is enough to meet the needs of a family of three. It is not restrictive at all. During the day, I basically walk and enjoy the slow pace of life in Qingdao, watch the sea at the beach, eat Qingdao delicacies, and try different tastes.
