Putian Xiuyu District Hotels

The hotel service was excellent. The front desk staff, especially one lady, was incredibly helpful. They were understanding when I needed a late checkout after being out for an errand, and they didn't charge me extra when I asked them to print a document. The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance of the high-speed train station. I originally planned to move to a hotel in the city center after one night, but because of the great service, I decided to extend my stay here.

Environment: Clean and tidy. Service: The service was really good. The lady at the front desk even told us about the best places to eat and things to do, and she gave us two bottles of drinks when we left.

The service was terrible. I had added them on WeChat beforehand, but they didn't even send a basic 'hello.' I had to ask multiple questions to get a single answer. My room wasn't cleaned by 3 PM, so they switched me to a family room, but even that wasn't cleaned properly. The previous guest had dumped tea leaves down the drain, blocking it. I messaged on WeChat for help, but got no response. My room faced the linen room, which was incredibly noisy. I asked an attendant for help, but she said it wasn't her area and would pass it on. After a long wait with no response, I messaged on WeChat again. Much later, an older man came to clean it, not even a cleaning lady. The linen room right opposite my room was so loud; kids were yelling and the attendants were chatting. The soundproofing was awful, and I was woken up by the staff early in the morning. The next day, after switching to a sea-view room, things were much better. The view was absolutely amazing! The soundproofing was still bad, but I could live with it. However, the people upstairs were playing cards and laughing loudly until past 1 AM, and kids were constantly running and yelling in the hallway. The breakfast was really subpar, on par with a small budget hotel. It definitely needs improvement. The attendants were nice though, and even helped me find the last Mazu cake. Definitely book a sea-view room!! The scenery is great!! You can watch the sunrise right from your bed!!

The room was great, definitely up to Holiday Inn standards. The view was fantastic, overlooking a beautiful wetland park. The facilities were excellent, with a charging station right at the entrance. The service attitude was absolutely top-notch, full marks for that! Full marks! 1. There was fresh fruit in the room, and the Putian pomelo was wonderfully sweet and refreshing. 2. They kindly helped me heat up the duck head I brought from Quzhou and even provided new bowls. 3. I left my iPad behind, and they were very responsive and helped me mail it back promptly.

The overall hotel experience exceeded my expectations. The location was convenient for getting around, and the room was spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, responding promptly to all requests. It offers superb value for money and is an excellent choice for accommodation during a trip.

How to say it, August should be the peak season of Weizhou Island, and the price of the homestay is understandable. This homestay, decoration style, photo check-in point, it is very convenient to eat from the farmer’s market, free pick-up and drop-off from the island, fresh fruit every day, timely service, good attitude, these are very satisfied; But for the price of more than a thousand nights, the hardware of the room, the preparation of breakfast, I think it needs to be strengthened.

這次湄洲島之行，最驚喜就是這家如院民宿！是老闆自家房子自建自營，沒有商業化的生硬感。房間設計簡約，衞生做得特別到位，清爽舒服。 地理位置絕了，離湄嶼潮音很近。島上租小電驢去哪都方便，我們帶長者小孩不想騎車，觀光車每個景點都可以接送，不用走路折騰，很省心。 早餐一定要誇！地道本地風味，還有雞蛋饅頭，管飽，吃着暖暖的，像在朋友家做客，下次來湄洲還選這裏！

The overall homestay exceeded expectations! The environment is clean and tidy, the layout is warm and atmospheric, and the facilities are complete. The landlord is very nice, warm and caring, the reply is super fast, the location is very convenient, the parking is easy, the living is particularly comfortable, I will choose this one next time, it is highly recommended!

The location is excellent, right next to the convention center, and there's a discount for the Impression Mazu show. The hotel rooms are huge! They even have an entryway and reception area, and the color scheme and decor are very sophisticated. They gave us so many gifts—Mazu peace cake, our New Year's Eve dinner on the fourth day of the ***** New Year, and a little red horse keychain! The service was incredibly warm and welcoming; everyone was eager to help us solve any problems! There was even a tea steamer in the hallway, filling the air with its fragrant aroma.
