Crown Paradise Golden All Inclusive Resort - Adults Only
3.6/5100 Reviews
This is an affordable all-inclusive place to stay with a nice beach for swimming and sitting on the sand. There isn't much shade but you can rent a beach umbrella and chairs. The lobby and buffet are open air so it can get really hot during the warmer months. The food was safe, but unremarkable. There was a good variety of choices everyday and each night at the buffet had a theme, such as Mexican, Seafood night and BBQ to name three. We were there at the beginning of October and the weather was still quite hot and the Air Conditioning in the inside restaurants was not quite strong enough to cool the place down, but the servers were excellent. I was worried before arriving that the hotel would be noisy at night, but they have a night club for the resort across the street for all of the late night partiers making the hotel a quiet place to rest and sleep. However, one of the elevators must have been over something very stinky because most of the time, there was a smell of sewer for a lot of our rides. It was the elevator that was for the rooms on the beach front side of the hotel that went up to the 7th floor. The other elevator in that section only went up to the 6th floor. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. We were on a top floor with roof exposure so our room was never able to cool down below 77 degrees despite the hotel's efforts to fix the AC so I had difficulty sleeping. I understand the lower rooms were nice and cool for sleeping. The maid did a great job keeping our room clean! This is a great place to stay for those who like a busy active beach area. It is centrally located which makes it easy to go into town or access tours. The hotel staff was great. If you want a more relaxing, quieter beach and pool, you will probably need to go elsewhere.
Hotel Porto Allegro Puerto Vallarta

Friendly, well located hotel, about a block from the market and 1/2 block from Rio Cuale. It's 4-5 blocks in from the malecon, so for me close enough. I'm not a beach person, so I much prefer proximity to great shopping and good restaurants! This was my second stay at the Porto Allegro. I was given a lovely corner room, with a small balcony and lots of windows with pull down shades. The room had excellent AC, coffee maker, two bottles of water daily, and a fridge. The bathroom was clean, with a shower and thoughtful toiletries , like a pack of tissues and a sponge, along with the usual items. The hotel has a restaurant upstairs that serves a nice breakfast to order. The only downside I can even think of is that the elevator is small and a bit slow. But they have an elevator! All of the staff have been very kind and helpful without being intrusive. I recommend this small hotel if you prefer something traditional, clean, and welcoming. I expect to return again and again ....
Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive & Spa

We ended up getting to the property a couple hours before check in but our concierge Franco greeted us at our first step out of our shuttle. His team grabbed our bags as he escorted to the front desk. We had 3 rooms booked and they were able to give us 2 of them adjoining. We had to wait a couple hours to check in but we got our bracelets, a quick tour and sat down for some lunch a few drinks while we waited! Smooth check in process! The service from housekeeping to bartenders to pool servers were all so friendly and fast! The pool food was great for snacking on. The breakfast buffet was decent with a good variety of choices. Drinks were mostly small unless you asked for a bigger glass, which was never an issue. All 3 of our rooms were pretty clean and housekeeping kept up with everything pretty well! The beach was a great spot for sunsets. Few vendors around but they weren’t too much of a bother. Not much of a swimming style beach due to how rough it was at the time we visited. The lobby bar was a good time in the evening with live music! All in all, we would definitely head back!

Our stay has been an invitation to come back and come back, starting with customer service. A first class service from the person who receives you at the hotel and opens the door of the car where you arrive, the people who kindly attend you at the reception with a smile and an authentic sense of service, the porters who go out of their way to ask you for a taxi and help you load what you bring without being asked, and anyone who works in the hotel in the reception area is undoubtedly there to serve you with the best service disposition. Also in the pool area, and restaurants. The impeccable place, with an architectural beauty. Its spaciousness and distribution of both the hotel and the rooms welcome you. The fact of being an open place allows us to feel the weather, and the wind that blows is a very pleasant sensation. The decoration of the place is warm and tasteful, giving us a feeling of being ”at home”. The location of the place gives rise to going for a walk to the Marina, both day and night, with complete security, and all the places we went are very close, 5, 10, 15 minutes by car: Walmart, Shopping Centers , Malecon, Downtown, Restaurants, Maritime Terminal. The access to the beach is a delight, with unbeatable views of the sunset. We enjoy the extra activities that the stay at the hotel includes, and the fact that they are not invasive to our moments of being. The food is very good, and although the price is a bit high, it is worth staying **** at the hotel to eat. I want to close by congratulating the Customer Service program that the hotel has, since it is surely an administration that takes its time to train all the people who work there in this area. Customer service makes the difference in an experience, and that is what we look for when going on vacation, living pleasant and memorable experiences. Congratulations for your excellent service to all the people who work at Club Regina Puerto Vallarta!

Crown Paradise Club All Inclusive

We have been here several times before. It is sad they have done nothing to the property in years, peeling paint, the pool needs work, the ”hot Tub” is Luke warm and they don't always turn on the jets, they never cleaned the pool area. Landscaping used to be much better. The room was right on the beach but the walls had mildew, the patio door latch was broken, furniture was well worn ,the bed was uncomfortable and the air conditioner blew right on it droning all the time to keep the room somewhat cool and the bathroom was a disaster. The shower had a 2 foot step up and the shower head hit mid chest, slick tile and the sink faucet had to be played with to shut off and the toilet seat was loose, very poor lighting. Maid service was spotty sometimes you got it other times not. They have taken out all the phones and you need the app to reach the front desk. Staff has been cut and most times there was only one bartender at any of the bars. They had a soap party on Friday at the pool other than that there was no pool entertainment. The food had really gone down hill. frozen fish in some sort of goop, fatty pork ribs and some sort of stew, that's it for lunch and dinner. The pool side burgers are dry, small and not all beef. Deserts, don't bother. The specialty restaurants are just as bad, burnt shrimp, over cooked chicken that couldn't be cut with a knife and fatty pork. Very little beef, in fact the only good thing we had was French onion soup. Be prepared to go out to eat a lot. Yes they water down the drinks, a lot and if you ask for just a shot I comes from a different bottle on the shelf. Service is lacking due to staff cuts. We used to enjoy Crown Paradise but this will be our last time here.
