Exceptionally maintained three level/ split level home on beautiful Davis Islands. My home has an open floor plan and as you enter you will find a sitting area in front of an inviting wood burning fireplace. Adjoining the sitting area is a comfortable dining space with a table that has an extension to accommodate your friends and family. There is a straight view from the front door through the house to the pool oasis. But before you walk outside, you will want to spend time in the kitchen and downstairs family room. This is the heart of the house. The kitchen has a massive island that doubles as a working prep island, and an informal gathering space to eat meals or play games. The refrigerator is a side by side Sub Zero and the oven/stove is Thermador. Cooking in this kitchen is a chef's dream (or a hash slinger's dream - whichever the case may be). There are two sinks on either side of the kitchen with counter space galore- so multiple cooks can have their own working area. I love to cook and bake and I live in the house when you all aren't renting it- so you should find everything you need to make just about anything. I'll take you upstairs next- and leave the backyard for last.At the first landing on the stairs you will find the Primary Bedroom with an ensuite. This room has a wrought iron queen size bed and a TV that is hidden inside the armoire that also holds extra blankets. The ensuite has a walk in shower and towels, hair dryer, soap and shampoo.When you walk up the second flight of stairs you will find another open floor plan with a second family room with wrap around couch with plenty of seating to watch the TV. There is also a game table in this room and PLENTY of jigsaw puzzles and games to chose from. This is the room that also has the queen size murphy bed. The bed is hidden behind the curtain that says "STAY GROOVY". This third floor also has the two extra bedrooms. Both rooms have queen size beds and wall mounted TVs. (I never liked staying at places that didn't have a TV in each bedroom- so I made sure you won't have that experience at my place.) There is one bathroom for the third floor and it has a bath/shower and plenty of hooks for everyone's towels.And now for the reason you are coming to Florida. . . SUNSHINE!The backyard is a slice of paradise. The pool is surrounded by palm trees, with a beautiful Viking Gas Grill- just waiting for you to give it your "BAM".The house is located down the street from one of the Pirate Water Taxi stops that takes you to Amelie Arena, Channelside, Harbor Island (where you will find American Social and Jackson's), the Columbia Restaurant, the Riverwalk, the Straz, Rick's on the River, Ulele, Sparkman's Wharf and Armature Works. My house is located easy walking distance to the Convention Center, Bayshore Blvd, the Riverwalk, Amalie Arena, the Columbia Cafe (a Tampa classic), Tampa General Hospital and the University of Tampa. Our quaint downtown Davis Islands is a under 5 minute walk, and there you will find DI Coffee Bar- where they not only have great coffee, but also a self serve wine bar that you have to try. Make sure you walk all the way through CI Coffee Bar to the outside sitting area, that reminds me of a secret garden and they play live music there on the weekends. There is also TeBella Tea Company, Margarita's Mexican Restaurant, Oggi's Italian Restaurant, Grecian Island Greek Restaurant, Fountain Mediterranean & Sushi Bistro, Thai Island Restaurant, 220 East Restaurant, Farrells Ice Cream Shop, Molly Malone's Irish Pub, Subway Sandwiches and more. The house is about 15 minutes from Downtown Tampa and 30 minutes from Downtown St. Pete. Everything you need is within a 5-10 minute radius of the home, including lovely restaurants, a local park on the Tampa coastline, a gym + workout studios, multiple pharmacies, grocery stores and liquor stores.Guests will typically enter through the backdoor, given this is where the driveway is located. When you enter through this door, you will be welcomed by the site of our main living room: here we have a pool table, a SmartTV above the pool table (perfect to watch your favorite sporting event), two small circular bar tables and our main dining table. The dining table has 6 chairs with an additional 2 chairs located in the laundry room area for extra guests. Just off the main living room are the double doors out to the pool area and backyard. We love opening up those two doors, letting light shine through the living area. It's especially nice when some folks are outside enjoying the pool, with the remainder of folks inside doing work or playing some pool.The outdoor area includes a heated pool, 3 floaties, a dining table with 8 chairs, a BBQ, 6 lounge chairs, and 3 tanning beds, underneath 2 green umbrellas and a firepit with 4 chairs surrounding. We have an absolute blast in this backyard - it's perfect for kids who want to splash around in the pool, or adults who need some respite from the warm FL sun. We provide both pool towels and flip flops for the deck (it can get quite hot!).Just off the living room is our kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with everything you need to cook up a meal: a large fridge/freezer, a microwave, an induction stove and an oven. We also provide a Keurig (with some hot cocoa for the kids!), a French Press, coffee bean grinder, toaster, knife set, small blender, spatula and electric tea kettle. Once you book with us, we will send an extensive guidebook which includes all of the local grocery store locations. There is enough cutlery, plates, bowls, glassware and mugs to host the maximum number of guests.Just off the kitchen is our sitting room. We have a cozy leather couch with lots of pillows and plenty of blankets. The SmartTV located in our sitting room is our biggest in the house and is ideal for a good movie or the latest episode of Succession. Within the TV cabinet you'll find a plethora of board games, perfect for a drinking game session with friend or just for kids.The Tampa Bae house has 5 bedrooms, all of which have a SmartTV, dresser and closet (minus the bunk room). The two bedrooms with King beds each have an en suite bathroom, and the three remaining bedrooms share a bathroom easily located among them.The Main Bedroom is the largest, with a walk-in closet, King sized bed, a couple of lounge chairs, an en suite bathroom, and a dedicated workspace. The desk is a great space to get some work done - a desk lamp, desktop, mouse and keyboard can all be found in the walk-in closet for use during your stay. Just remember to return the USBs!The second largest room also has an en suite bathroom. Please note we include hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and some body wash in all bathrooms, as well as a hairdryer and some tampons.Two bedrooms in the house have queen beds, and the final bedroom has 2 bunk beds, perfect for kids or for adults who are up for piling in. Our favorite bedroom is actually the smallest - we call it the "soft" room, as the carpet is soft on your feet, the throw pillows are felt-covered and the mirror has a soft white lining.For those who are here for longer stays (or shorter stays, but lots of outfit changes), we have a laundry room easily located next to the backdoor. We provide laundry detergent and dryer sheets if you so need.Guest Access:The house has a dedicated driveway, which fits 1 vehicle. However there is plenty of street parking, all of which is free and on the street where the house is located.
