"We arrived at the Cape Weligama Hotel at 2 pm on September 30, 2023. This hotel is on a cliff and is one of the three Roland & Chateau Group hotels in Sri Lanka. Whales can sometimes be seen from the hotel from November to April. The location is good, a bit similar to the Bulgari Hotel in Bali, but not as big as the Bulgari and the service is average. Dinner can basically only be eaten from the hotel, which feels not cheap, and the breakfast is very rich. You can see lizards and peacocks from the hotel. Recently, a new naturalist has arrived, who can take children to collect leaves and observe various animals, which is very interesting. However, I only stayed in this hotel once to experience it, and I will not stay there again."
