The public area of ​​the hotel is okay for walking with children. There is a lawn and a small children's playground. The service attitude is also good. However, the sanitary conditions are really worrying. When I checked in, I found the underwear left by the previous guest hanging at the door of the bathroom, which greatly affected the check-in experience. Although the front desk said that I could change rooms, I didn't bother to bother with all the things I had opened, so I used alcohol to clean the bathroom. I was a little nervous at first, but I thought it might be a new hotel with few reviews, rather than a bad one, so I decided to give it a try. The result was a very good experience 💗 This homestay is suitable for self-driving tours. It is a 30-minute drive from Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain. The surrounding area is very quiet and very suitable for families who like to stay in the hotel for a little longer. The room we were given was upgraded to [Ming Yue], which is 70 square meters and has large floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides. We checked in at night, and when we woke up the next day, we told the smart housekeeper to ”open the curtains” while lying in bed, and were immediately awakened by the beautiful scenery. In order to help guests take great photos, the room is carefully decorated with full details, and there are also aromatherapy stones to relax people. It's so nice. Because it is a new house less than a year old, all the supplies are new and the bath towels are super soft. The stairs going downstairs are also very photogenic. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the restaurant, you can see the forest-like environment and design-conscious structures outside. Eating a 9-square breakfast is a great way to start a full day. The service was also great. The advantage of staying in a B&B is chatting with locals. After serving us customized fruit tea, they introduced us to the surrounding entertainment. I have to say that products such as tableware and cups are also very textured and the boss has a good vision. We stayed for one night and were still not satisfied. Although it was a bit far from tomorrow's schedule, we stayed another night. Staying here is much more cost-effective than the B&B in the back mountain of Qingcheng."

It’s within walking distance to the Dujiangyan Scenic Area, and getting a taxi to other attractions is very convenient. The hotel itself is new. What stood out the most was the staff—they were incredibly friendly and always ready to help whenever we had any issues. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. "## Location The hotel boasts a prime location, just 1.5 km from the Dujiangyan-Qingcheng Mountain exit of the Duna Expressway. It serves as an excellent stopover point for travelers heading to scenic areas from Chengdu to Lixian, and what's more, it's adjacent to three major attractions: Qingcheng Mountain, Dujiangyan, and the Panda Valley. This makes its transportation incredibly convenient. ## Service The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived. Staff guided us to the underground parking even before check-in and proactively helped with our luggage. The two male front desk staff members were incredibly warm, welcoming, and meticulous. The breakfast staff were equally friendly and even offered directions for our onward journey. ## Accommodation We booked a family room, which was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully divided into inner and outer sections. It even came equipped with a play tent for the kids, which was a huge hit! These thoughtful touches truly elevated the experience and made the children extremely happy. ## Price The price point is moderate, and I personally feel it offers excellent value for money. ## Drawbacks However, there were a couple of minor downsides. The curtain on the north side of our room was quite sheer, and since there's a walkable corridor directly opposite, our privacy felt a bit compromised. Also, while the breakfast was hygienic and aesthetically pleasing, the selection of items was rather limited. ## Overall Despite these minor points, it was a truly enjoyable stay."

People: The team here is simply amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They provide such a high level of hospitality, always noticing and responding to every need with kindness. Food: Every meal was a delight. From the fresh breakfasts to beautifully crafted dinners, the chef truly has golden hands. The menu combines taste, health, and creativity — each dish felt like a small masterpiece. Rooms: Our room was spotless, cosy, and full of thoughtful details. The design reflects nature and harmony — from decorations to layout — creating a relaxing, beautiful atmosphere. Activities: The daily program is fantastic. We enjoyed light morning exercises, deep meditation sessions, and even had the chance to try calligraphy. My wife also joined some paid artistic mini-workshops and brought back unique handcrafted souvenirs for her friends — such a special experience! Location: The resort has the perfect setting. It is close to the Giant Panda Garden, Jiezi Ancient Town, and Mount Qingcheng, yet the atmosphere is completely peaceful. Surrounded by birdsong, cicadas, and trees, we breathed fresh air every day. The gardens inside the resort are stunning, with many lovely spots for photos and videos. Overall, Hegu Harmony Valley Retreat is a place where hospitality, nature, and culture come together. We left with our hearts full, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone visiting Dujiangyan."

But it feels like a hidden gem. When you walk into the hotel, put down your luggage, sit on the balcony, and the roof garden will immediately make you feel refreshed! There are only the sounds of nature and yourself! Walking in the hotel, you can feel the boss's care in every place. It's no exaggeration to say that it's a step-by-step view. All the materials used in the room are very attentive, and they are of quality and taste! It feels very good to be integrated with nature! Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, sit down and quietly enjoy nature and look at the stars in the sky! The service is also the most attentive hotel I have ever seen. Seeing that it was raining, the children and I were still outdoors and hurried forward to help take things to the house. In short, it gave me the feeling that this is a hotel with warmth and depth! "This loft apartment is ideal for families traveling with older children, or two adults and two small children. The upper floor features a double tatami bed, and downstairs there's a sofa bed, comfortably accommodating one older child or two younger children. Both floors have bathrooms; the downstairs one is convenient for general use, and the upstairs one is equipped with a shower. The apartment is located in a residential complex directly opposite the hotel. Parking is convenient, and if you have large luggage, you can even park right next to the elevator. The residential complex itself is quite pleasant. While breakfast and swimming facilities are located at the hotel, it's just a short walk across a small road, only a few minutes away. The pool is very clean and wasn't crowded. Although the changing rooms are a bit small, they were not busy, and the facilities are well-equipped. Breakfast was delicious, with options to order noodles, rice noodles, and 'chaoshou' (Sichuan-style wontons) à la carte. The lawn area behind the hotel also offers a pleasant view. Nearing the end of the summer holiday, the price of just over 300 RMB per night offered excellent value for money. The front desk staff at the hotel were all very helpful; they even gave us pickled radishes as a farewell gift when we left. My only suggestion would be to add a power outlet near the dining table on the first floor of the apartment, as it was a bit inconvenient for using a laptop or studying without a nearby power source."
