This is my first time in Prague and this is one expensive hotel (but I guess it's like this for all hotels in Prague). Location wise, it's is a walkable 15 minutes to the main train station or the metro station is only a few mintues away. The staff are really helpful. They helped planned my day's sightseeing! There are a few restaurants nearby but most still require about a 5 to 10 minute walk.
The room itself is very clean, spacious and come with all the usual amenities. I have some issues with getting hot water for showering on one of the day which was fixed quite promptly but I think the hot water is only satisfactory hot (and not like boiling hot). I stayed during the winter months so the AC in the room don't work. The building is centrally heated and the temperature adjustment is against the wall. It took me two days to figure this out though the temperature in my room was okay (so it doesn't really matter).
Overall, my stay has been pleasant and I will likely stay here again next time I'm in Prague (and I will be back. Prague is such a beautiful city). I'm hoping next time I won't need to fork out an arm and a leg to stay here.

Despite the inconvenience of the unavailable room they remedied it with a very nice and clean apartment... they made a taxi available to us to reach it even if it was close... I would say that the solution was positive... varied and plentiful buffet breakfast... very friendly .

👍Lovely hotel, The receptionist is very friendly and they give good recommendation for food or sightseeing. It would be nice if there is more option for non-pork eater for the breakfast choices. The hotel is located about five mins from the trams and within walking distance to tourist sites.

The hotel itself was very clean and staff friendly but the room was tiny, so small you couldn't open your suitcase unless you put it on the bed, very little storage, our room was right outside reception so very noisy. The bed was awful, the mattress dipped at the side so it was like sleeping on a hill, one wrong move and you would be on the floor. The shower door didn't seal so flooded the bathroom everytime you showered. Prague was an amazing city but probably would pick a different hotel if I went back

The hotel was a good base as it was within walking distance of the centre plus it was very close to the Hop on Hop Off bus stop . Clean but nowhere to sit in the room ,perfect to simply sleep and use as a base to exploor. Breakfast was fine, both hot and continental choices and staff were friendly .

Historic building. Rooms have a nice style and the staff is very very friendly. The breakfast is very satisfying and fresh The location is amazing you don't need to use any public transport an can walk anywhere. The bed was big and comfortable.

Stayed here for a couple of nights recently. If you use the hotel as a base, its fine. The room was small, the wardrobe wasnt very big, and everything was a bit basic, including the bed as described in other reviews, a mattress on a bit of board. The staff, however, at reception were helpful during our stay, firstly allowing us to drop our bags on arrival as we were too early to check in, and then answering any questions that we had. However, what we werent aware of until we booked in was that we had to pay a tourist tax for the stay, which was slightly annoying The only other slight negative is the distance out of the centre the hotel is. Its a good 15 to 20 minute walk to get to Wenceslas Square As for Prague itself, its beautiful, with plenty to do. The castle and grounds are a must visit, although the climb up to it is tiring, but worth it for the views across the city when you get there

The hotel did exactly what it was needed for. It had all the basics. The negative would be that it was slightly out of the centre 100 czh korona to the centre. The room was small. However this was reflected in the fact it was a cheap hotel. The staff were very helpful.

Disappointing Stay – Not a Four-Star Experience I recently stayed at the Royal Court Hotel, Prague, and I would not recommend it. While the location is convenient—close to I.P. Pavlova station for buses, trams, and the underground—there was little else to praise. The hotel claims to be four-star, but it falls far below that standard. Our standard room was so small we couldn’t even open a suitcase on the floor. The room safe was broken, and when we asked for it to be fixed, we were told it wouldn’t be until the next day, leaving our valuables unsecured. The bed was nothing more than a mattress on, a piece of wood then on top of four wooden blocks, shifting every time someone moved. Cleanliness was also an issue. We found chewing gum stuck to the wall behind the door, the shower leaked, and the inside door lock was either broken or loose, causing it to rattle constantly. The staff were unhelpful when we requested a new room. They didn’t even check availability and instead tried to placate us with a bottle of wine, which we don’t drink. We reluctantly paid €30 to upgrade, but the new room was barely better—the same bed issues and a horrible sewage smell that lasted all evening, forcing us to keep the extractor fan running all day. Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely not. It was far from a four-star experience, and the service was unimpressive. Would I recommend Prague? Absolutely, yes. It is a stunning city with excellent public transport, making it easy to explore—just choose a different hotel.
