This hotel was excellent and the staff was even better. This was my 70 yo mom's first time traveling alone and ever since I made the booking a few months prior, I contacted the hotel about this. They were incredibly helpful and reassured me that they would take good care of her. They helped with scheduling tours, transportation, dinner plans, and more. I was initially in contact with Petra who was great and then was in contact with Liliane who was also great. Liliane let me know that she'd make sure to be there when my mom arrived and she followed through on that. She was able to make my mom feel at home right away and helped her throughout her entire stay. They even upgraded her room. She said the hotel was in great condition, very clean, and the location and the included breakfast were wonderful. She was able to walk around with no concerns and was close to everything. Her flight out was very early (she left the hotel at 4am) and they had a breakfast box waiting for her. Would highly recommend this hotel and the staff.

If you don't have a car, it's better to take Uber. It will be difficult to bring your luggage to the hotel. If you have a car, there is no place to park in the hotel. You have to park on the street, but we paid 18 euros to the hotel. When I checked in, the hotel staff informed me of the city hall site and said that I could pay for parking, but I could only pay in units of max 1 hour. I paid for 1 hod not knowing that it was 1 hour and only lost 80czk. When I told the hotel staff about this, the hotel told me that there was a spot available for parking until 12:00 the next day, and then I took it for 18 euros. Great location for visiting Prague castle and monasteries. Although the hotel is old, it has been remodeled inside and is clean. Soap, shampoo, body wash, and body lotion are also available. There is a refrigerator and air conditioning, and the breakfast is quite good. The staff was on standby 24 hours a day, so there was nothing inconvenient except for parking.

The hotel is situated very close to the Republic Square. Everything is within walking distance, and if considered to far.... just take tram 15 that stops nearly at the doorstep and gets you to the bottom of the Prague Castle-walk. You can change there for tram 22 or 23 that takes you up the hill, to the Caste back door and or to Loreta (and stay away from the crowd). Palladium shopping centre is next door to the hotel, nice terraces and restaurants are in close vicinity. The rooms are a bit out of date, but they are spacious and clean, the windows can open and the airco is very adequate. The beds are good, the staf is friendly and breakfast, although not top notch, has excellent cappucino and more than enough choise. Be aware that end of breakfast time, means that the buffet will be immediately emptied ! Special appreciation for hospitable and capable receptionist Valentine who gave us very useful information and advise. To us he scored a 10 out of 10.

The hotel is very simple but more than suitable for a short stay of visiting the city. It is excellent location, just a few steps from the National Museum, the San Venceslao Square and the public media. The entrance is on a high-fluid, constantly trafficed axis, but the infixes ensure good sound insulation and most of the rooms are faced on a very silent indoor courtyard. The rooms are very simple and astray, but large and recently renovated (some are only reachable with short staircases). Effective and friendly staff. Stability and fast wifi connection. The real strength of the hotel is the price quality ratio, extremely convenient, given the area. With the prices offered, there are no major critical points to do. However, breakfast offers a small variety of products, which are not of high quality, especially for the sweet part (in my personal experience, at 9.45 there was almost nothing left). The tents in the room are completely inadequate to screen the light that penetrates through the large windows. There is a chair in the room (there is a wall dressing with just two sticks) which would be easily placed given the available spaces

Hotel Clementin in the Old Town of Prague is a house with a very special charm, very good room facilities, courteous service and excellent location. Besides the fact that it is a historical building from 1380, it is also the narrowest surviving house from that time in Prague - at the widest point it measures just 3.28 meters. However, this circumstance should not hide the fact that the house offers fully and modernly equipped, very neat, clean and spacious rooms with separate bathroom and an elevator to reach them. But other details are also convincing here: The rather small breakfast room on the first floor belies the fact that there is room for an extensive and full breakfast buffet even in the smallest of spaces. Eggs, sausages, ham, jam and Nutella, cheese, muesli, vegetables, yogurt, tea, coffee, juices, baked goods - there is room for everything and it tastes simply excellent. The reception is not staffed 24 hours a day - but that doesn't matter, because on the one hand you get access with your chip card at any time and on the other hand you can always reach someone quickly in case of emergency. During the occupation time one may enjoy an exceptionally hospitable and obliging service, which leaves nothing to be desired. If you want to explore the city, this is an ideal starting point. The Charles Bridge is not much more than 300 meters away, the castle can be reached on foot in less than half an hour, the Clementinum with its baroque library and a magnificent observation tower is right on the doorstep and the large market square and the many stores and restaurants of the old town can be reached on foot in a few minutes - nevertheless, in the rooms you don't hear anything of the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowds and thus always have a haven of peace in a prime location. If you are good on foot, you don't need a cab or bus for the transfer from the train station to the hotel - the walk takes about 30 minutes and takes you past the Powder Tower, the Teyn Church, and the town hall clock and makes you want to see more. Those arriving at noon or in the early evening should definitely try the Lángos at the large square next to the town hall clock and/or the original Prague ham freshly prepared there. A delight! In summary, I can't help but give the Hotel Clementin the highest score - the overall package just fits perfectly. I have nothing to complain about and can recommend this hotel without hesitation and with pleasure.

Location: Amazing. On top of the hill, near Strahovský klášter beautiful Library and St. Vitus Cathedral with its astonishing vitrals - first monument to visit once you enter the Castle. This side of the city is more quiet overall... Amenities: Great. It's always nice to have some coffee or tea. Bed: Comfy. Decoration: Beautiful as the pictures show. Staff: Super friendly and helpful

We spent 5 days on our holiday. We got a double room in the 3rd floor as booked. Well, the furniture were very afforded. The telecommand for the TV missed and the TV did not work. We reported that at the reception and have received a better room in the sixth floor. Unfortunately, the wellness applications are very expensive. Breakfast was sufficient and nothing missed. The room cleaning was still not completed 14.30 and the beds looked like the cleaner had rested in it no***al. The bathtub was not cleaned either. Unfortunately, there was no dust sucking, very bad for a 4-star hotel. The deep garage must be logged in before and is very expensive. We would not book this hotel again.

Ingolosito dalla posizione eccezionale dell'hotel, non bado a spese e prenoto la suite dell'hotel. Arriviamo il giorno fatidico e rimaniamo sgradevolmente sorpresi dalla reception (un ufficio in disordine) e dal fare sbrigativo dell'addetto. Pensiamo però che la suite rinfrancherà le nostre aspettative, ma, una volta arrampicatici nel sottotetto della struttura, troviamo un caldo asfissiante (non è prevista aria condizionata in questo hotel), la mancanza totale di alcun tipo di oscurante e un'altezza del tetto basso al limite dell'agibilità. Alle nostre rimostranze l'addetto di cui sopra risponde in maniera sbrigativa e ci offre il cambio con una tripla ad un piano più basso. Costretto ad accettare la nuova soluzione nello stesso hotel in quanto avevo optato per il pagamento anticipato, chiedo almeno un rimborso che viene perentoriamente escluso. Entriamo nella nuova camera e ci ritroviamo a dover debellare una colonia di formiche. Almeno il caldo da asfissiante è passato ad insopportabile. Il giorno dopo, sicuro che la struttura si rifarà con la colazione e la pulizia (promessa il giorno prima dopo le nostre lamentele per le formiche), ci rechiamo nella sala dedicata alla colazione dove troviamo una ristretta selezione di cibo ed anche di scarsa qualità (prodotti da supermercato a buon prezzo) e la totale assenza di personale sebbene mancasse ancora una buona mezz'ora alla scadenza prevista dalle regole della struttura. Non ci scoraggiamo e cerchiamo di attirare l'attenzione degli addetti prima chiamando e successivamente, non uditi, affacciandoci educatamente in cucina. Veniamo cacciati in malo modo. Riusciamo qualche minuto dopo ad ordinare un latte caldo, visto che un'addetta si decide a venire in sala. Al rientro dalla visita della città (bellissima), troviamo ancora le formiche. Il bagno nelle stesse condizioni in cui l'avevamo lasciato perché il cambio asciugamani si effettua ogni 3 giorni: riesco a spuntarla portandolo a 2 giorni (visto che abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti non richiedeva costi aggiuntivi per la proprietà). Naturalmente ci siamo ben guardati dal rifare colazione in hotel. In conclusione: pessimo soggiorno dovuto alla mancanza di aria condizionata, alla mancanza di cortesia da parte del personale ed alla mancanza di un hotel 3 stelle: la struttura è simile ad un B&B. Nel caso voleste soggiornare comunque in questo hotel, nonostante la mia esperienza negativa, solo un paio di raccomandazioni: scegliete un periodo mite/freddo non fate colazione in hotel e destinate al soggiorno un budget adeguato ad un B&B.
