I took a day trip and stayed in here for one night. The only thing I regret is that I only one day. The ocean view from the room was breathtaking and all staff were extremely warm and welcoming. The dining was also very good! They offer free water taxi and free boat tour which was definitely worth it. I didn’t get a chance to use the gym. But this is perhaps one of the best gym set up I have seen. I will take my family back here again!

Environment: Very beautiful, very beautiful

The landscape is very good, on the cliff, there is a private beach, the pool and tennis courts are very beautiful. There are many plants in the garden, the service and the restaurant are perfect. There is a shuttle bus to the central area, about five minutes by car, very convenient. The central area is very noisy and the air is very poor. It is recommended to live here more comfortably.

Perfection on every level. The very definition of excellence and luxury. The location and setting is spectacular. The service is attentive, warm and professional. The rooms are comfortable with a spectacular view of the Mediterranean. The food is incredible. There is no place that we have ever stayed that compares to this wonderful hotel.

We could not have had a better experience at il San Pietro. From the moment you arrive until the day you check-out you are treated like family! The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and well taken care of. The property is breathtaking and both of their restaurants are amazing, we had one of our favorite meals at their Michelin star restaurant Zass. Lunches at il Carlino were also fantastic and were a highlight of the trip. We were very emotional leaving, we wish we could have stayed longer. We cannot wait to come back! Just absolutely incredible! The property itself is breathtaking, it is a romantic retreat next to the hustle of Positano. The food is incredible- their Michelin star restaurant is a must but the complimentary breakfast is just as amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. On top of that, we booked all of transfers through them & it was so effortless. I cannot thank San Pietro’s staff enough- this was a dream! It is worth every penny!

We first travelled to Il San Pietro on honeymoon in 2001, and recently returned to celebrate our anniversary and my wife's birthday. Our visit simply reinforced my view that this is a place of timeless quality - the location, the staff, the service, the food and the rooms are all truly exceptional. Stepping back into the foyer and onto the terrace, we could immediately sense that the essence of the place, the care and passion imbued in it that almost hangs in the air, had not changed and has if anything intensified with the passing of time. This is a place to rest and relax, to take in the beauty and peaceful surroundings of the cliff top location. Positano is only a short boat transfer or shuttle ride away to enjoy, however returning back to the hotel after a day exploring felt like coming home. Thank you to Andrea and all of the staff - your care, attention to detail and stewardship are what sets ISP apart in world that has perhaps forgotten what true style and elegance used to be. Cannot argue that this is one of the top hotels in the world. Everyone is super friendly, very much a family atmosphere. Everybody always seems really happy and enjoy their jobs. We must give a shout out to Pascale at the pool area, along with Alessandro and Erica, super attentive, always super helpful, and cannot do enough to make your trip even more wonderful. Zass restaurant another level, service, food, atmosphere and of course the amazing views ! Carlino's restaurant which is on the lower level is so good for either lunch or dinner - beautiful surroundings and the lemon pasta to die for ! Everyone from the guys that refresh your room to the reception were super helpful with everything. Loved our room and the amenities. We will definitely re visit this amazing hotel and thank you to Valeria for a lovely chat just before we left.

Pure Perfection. Bliss . Magical. The moment we arrived we felt as though we were at the most breathtaking place on earth. When people say this is their favorite spot in the world, even that is an understatement . The hotel ‘family’ ( one can’t call them staff as they immediately make you feel at home ) are welcoming and incredibly warm. This place is hard to leave but knowing we’ll be back is the only way to say ‘till next time’ . Magic magic magic!

While visiting Italy for our 30th wedding anniversary, my wife and I stayed at the Hotel il San Pietro in Positano, recently voted a top 10 luxury hotel in the world and with good reason! It defines luxury and sophistication yet maintains a timeless charm and unmatched views of the Mediterranean Sea hundreds of feet below. The staff and management are extremely courteous, friendly, and eager to help in any way possible. While not in the heart of downtown Positano, it is only a 5-minute ride away which is a plus, as it is more quiet and not as bustling with tourists as the others in town. As a result, it is the only luxury hotel with its own private beach club, tennis courts, etc., in town. Their upscale restaurant, Zass, is also a truly remarkable dining experience with attentive servers and awe-inspiring views. If you are looking for the ultimate luxury hotel experience while traveling to Positano, the il San Pietro is the only obvious and highly recommended option. An amazing stay!

It is such a joy to return to this magical hotel. The setting, comfort,and ambience cannot be matched. But the best part of spending time here is the genuine warmth and kindness of every member of staff. They work tirelessly to ensure everything is perfect,yet they always seem relaxed,and smiling. We spent our honeymoon at Il San Pietro di Positano an it was absolutely incredible. From the breathtaking views to the flawless service, every detail was impeccable. The food at Zass was a true highlight, simply delicious. A place that captures the essence of the Amalfi Coast in every moment. We’ll carry this memory with us for a lifetime.
