Very nice cozy hotel. Excellent location, everything within walking distance (restaurants, attractions, and the river). Very attentive and friendly staff. Comfortable room. Delicious breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at In Porto. It is a small guest house and the guest rooms are all individually and beautifully decorated with lovely pieces of art. There are pieces of artwork throughout the house and it is truly unique and a welcome change from the usual standard hotel lobbies. They sraff are only at reception until 3:00 so if you arrive after this you will have to key in the code and find you own way to your room. We booked a room that was called Intuition on the second floor as the stairs are fairly steep. The room is well equipped with all the necessities but counter space is very sparse in the washroom. The beds are very comfortable and although the inn is on a main street it is very quiet in the evening. Housekeeping was very good and the linens, pillows and towels are of good quality. There is a laundromat just up the street so we were able to get our laundry done. There are also many restaurants nearby. The service staff are very helpful. Katya was the server when we arrived and she was very helpful. When we left there was a gentleman on duty and when we asked him to call a taxi for us he asked where we were going and when we told him we were going to the dock to board a river cruise he offered to ask a friend of his to take us to the airport at a fraction of the cost. He and his friend loaded our baggage in the car and we were taken to the dock. This is a great guest house in a nice location. Prices are fair. The rooms are lovely and have so much character. Breakfast is good and service is friendly and accommodating. It’s a great place to stay. We found a very good Churrasquiera called Pedro’s Frangoes just down the street. It’s very good food and reasonable.

A very nice place to stay in a central location, some 10 minutes walk downhill to the main sites such as Ribeira and the Douro river. It’s also 5 minutes from the main Sao Bento railway station. The rooms are very nice, each with a piece of art in keeping with the gallery theme. It’s a very quiet place, with a lovely light breakfast area and garden with sofas etc. If you want to read a book and make plans there before you start your day it’s ideal. Very helpful staff, thanks in particular to Gilbert for very helpful train info. Highly recommended.

Excellent location fabulous restaurants and the river all walkable, lovely room with super comfy large bed and choice of 3 pillows. Catia was extremely helpful and looked after us so well. Lots of great advice. Highly recommend Hungry Biker for lunch and Farinha for dinner.

We stayed at the apartments for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They are only a few years old and positioned in an ideal location only a few minutes walk away from restaurants and shops. It took us about 15 minutes to walk to the bridge over the River Duoro where all the action is. The room was plenty big enough with a large well appointed bathroom. Special mention should be made of the manager who went out of her way to make us feel very welcome and provided an excellent breakfast plus a daily fresh baked cake that we could help ourselves to at any time. Be aware the manager isn't there after 3p.m. so if you arrive after that time you will need to ring the owner to get a security code to open the front door. Also there is no lift and the stairs are quite steep so carrying heavy suitcases is a bit of a challenge. Very reasonably priced, we would highly recommend these apartments.

Small boutique hotel that packs a punch. Stayed in the Fantasy room with a balcony overlooking the yard. Updated and very comfortable room. Pillow menu and bedding made the stay very enjoyable. Excellent location. Walking distance to the plaza and other attractions. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Porto.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The room was spacious and quiet. Breakfast was very good and on a warm day you can eat outside in the garden. The guesthouse is very near the metro so it is easy to get to from the airport. A big thank you to Katya the receptionist who speaks perfect English and helped us with advice with reference to restaurants and transport around the city. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

This hotel is a real gem. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the breakfast is amazing. The location is fantastic for all places in Porto and it’s just around the corner from the newly refurbished market

We visited thus place for 3 nights .. beautiful hotel .Great room but the breakfast was a little disappointing forca 4 star rated hotel..Including our final day when not particularly fresh bread was part of courtesy breakfast due to early departure.. and in the absence of mugs in our room had to borrow from the kitchen.

Excellent location just off the Avenue near the town hall. Staff were excellent and catered for our dietary needs at breakfast daily. Between our group we had x2 rooms. The first though street level because at back of the building ends up been in the basement so is very dark, the 2nd room was 1st floor at the front of the building so better. A few small issues which were resolved quickly. Would highly recommend

Hotel with a fantastic location, it made it very easy for us to get to know the city as it is very central. Great breakfast buffet, very correct and complete. We stayed in a very large and comfortable room on the ground floor, so we didn't have the inconvenience of stairs. Attentive and friendly staff. Very satisfied with this hotel. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful structure very close to the center and means of transport. Large room with comfortable bed and pillows. Good breakfast buffet with the precious support of the very kind Gilbert. Possibility of tables outside. There is no elevator.
