My husband and I just returned from the most perfect week at Viceroy Riviera Maya. Everything was beyond amazing - our villa was beautiful, the setting spectacular and the service was utterly incredible. We were spoiled at every turn! Pepe was meticulous in how he cared for our us poolside, Victor and Willy (among others!) took amazing care of us at the restaurant, and many many others also treated us incredibly well and made us feel pampered at every turn. The food and drinks were so delicious as well! There were so many thoughtful touches that helped contribute to the overall stunning experience we had. We cannot wait to go back!

Our stay at the Viceroy Riveria Maya was absolutely wonderful -- we had the villa with the private heated pool and big patio. The staff went above and beyond every day of our stay. With our villa package we had a private dinner included ... and it happened to be my birthday and they made it extra special and decorated with balloons and romantic lighting. Such a very fun surprise !! The restaurants on property were so very good along with a great bar area and the beach was right there. I would highly recommend the Viceroy Riveria Maya in Playa Del Carmen Amy & Steve Tullgren

Room was very comfortable and spacious with all of the needed (and more) amenities. Bed was very comfy with great pillow choices to allow for a pleasant rest. Loved the outdoor shower and bath tub, as well as the large closet. Food and drink were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the bell pepper cocktail with just the right amount of spicey kick. Service at this hotel is top notch--and I was often greeted by name.

From the moment you arrive till the morning that yell "no" because you don't want to leave, The Viceroy is truly the best place we've ever been in Mexico. It is truly a magical place. We never could decide if we were at a beach resort or in a Mayan jungle paradise. The villas are incredibly beautiful and secluded, the service was unbelievable, the spa services were wonderful, and even the gym (should you dare! LOL!) was beautiful with scenic views. This place will capture your heart!

The Viceroy is wonderful. The folks who work there go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Talk to Oscar at the Coral for drink. He is great. If you’re hungry on the beach and need some snacks, ask Pepe. Both fantastic. The facilities are first class. Highly recommend.

This was our 3rd trip to Viceroy playa. We absolutely love this resort. Very small resort. Each couple has your own thatch roof cabana and private pool. The food is next level. Service is impeccable. If I had to guess I bet the staff to guest ratio is about 3/1. Everyone on site knows your name and room number. The best part is spending the day laying on the beach in a bed that is serviced by staff to bring you whatever your heart desires. Pepe is the absolute best. He is a server that goes above and beyond. You have never had the service like he provides. He is always so happy and helpful. Thank you Pepe!! We will see you again next year.
