After the first night, they extended the hotel for another night. They gave me another room. It was a little worse, more black spots in the bathtub, no tea, midges in the bathtub

Reception at the diner level. They broke a glass. There was noise before the police were called. Laughter and that's it. They earn 200 baht per glass. And you can’t turn around in the room))

I can’t say that I’m very picky, but for me this hotel is worth a maximum of 3. Breakfast is monotonous, you won’t die of hunger, but the choice is minimal. The rooms are cleaned in the same way, sweep a little, make the bed, that's it. Some rooms have cockroaches, I personally saw them. I don’t know about the other floors, but on the 2nd floor the wi-fi is terrible, one might say there is no Internet, I think it’s about the same on the other floors. There are not even normal scales to weigh the suitcase. You get beach towels at the reception, but it’s not a fact that they are there in the morning. They'll put it in by lunchtime. They nod to my requests to do something with the Internet, but everything remains as it was. The location is one plus, it's a stone's throw from the beach. But 7eleven, you have to walk 500-700 meters.

We needed a hotel on out last night moving towards the airport. Why not try Karon beach!? Mistake. This 4-star hotel feels self-rated. Check-in requires a 3,000 baht cash deposit, non-negotiable. When we suggested holding a credit card instead, the manager became aggressive but later admitted he’s frustrated with “criminals and Russians,” who dominate Karon. Many guests lose their deposit to the “towel scam,” so photograph everything before checkout. While the location and rooftop pool are positives, the hotel is worn-down, dirty (moldy shower, chipped furniture, dirt under beds), and poorly maintained. The area is overrun with Russian restaurants, massage parlors, and laundromats, giving it a tired vibe. In short: Avoid. It’s cheap for a reason.

Overall, the stay at the hotel can be rated as average. On the one hand, there is a great view from the top floor where the swimming pool is located, on the other hand, very poor and tasteless breakfasts. In addition, there was a very unpleasant story when leaving the hotel (October 29, 2024), related to booking a transfer from the hotel to the airport. We booked and paid for the transfer at the hotel (1400 THB), received a receipt confirming this, but the hotel administrator put us in a taxi not associated with the hotel. We realized this when we had already arrived at the airport, and the taxi driver asked us to pay for the trip again. We tried to clarify the situation with the administrator by phone, but to no avail. I hope that the hotel administration will see this message and contact me for clarification and compensation for expenses, because the service from the hotel was not actually provided. Best regards, Elena Chumicheva (*****************)

The location of the hotel in Karon is why we chose this hotel. It is very close to the beach and down a quiet street but those are really the best points about this hotel. When we arrived at hotel and checking in, we were presented with a list of items if they were broken during our stay or went missing, this was the cost of them. Then we were told we had to pay a deposit of 3000 baht in cash!!! There was no option of putting this on a card. This left us with a bad taste in our mouth from the moment we checked in. The room itself was clean and tidy but you were so scared to touch or do anything just in case it was accidentally broken which can be hard when you have kids. The breakfast was incredibly poor and lacked any choice. There was no one cooking fresh egg choices like there is most hotels in Thailand’s hotels. The low point though was on our last night where my son and partner got trapped in the lift for about 15mins. The alarm wasn’t working and luckily I heard my partner yelling for help so I raced downstairs to get help. The man on the front desk had his music on so loud that he hadn’t heard anything and there really no rush to get it sorted. Luckily my partner managed to open the door of the lift but there was no apology or concern afterwards. When checking out we were so worried that we wouldn’t get our deposit back even though we knew nothing was broken or missing. And luckily we did but it’s not a nice feeling or to feel on edge while you are supposedly trying to relax.

I wish I read the reviews before coming. I have been absolutely scammed by the ‘towel and deposit’ game the manager plays here. (I’ve seen many posts about this now) We checked out today- manager called housekeeping to check our 2 bedroom suite. Cleaner comes down with two towels and says they are dirty and garbage. How do you know until you wash them? They were not stained. We have two young kids and they watched the manger yell at us and refusing to give us back our deposit. He even threatened to call the police on us. It was horribly embarrassing. We ended up paying because we didn’t want our children exposed to such harsh behaviour by the manager. Now I know why this place is priced so cheaply and the place is literally empty. Shady business. Please book somewhere else- anywhere! When I suggested I was going to write a bad review- he said ‘I don’t care’ and blankly stared at me for well over a minute as a form of intimidation. Don’t book here!!!

Worst Hotel in Thailand The only good thing about this hotel is its location and even that too the pictures are deceptive. The hotel will stoop to anything to take your security money. They not only accused us of stealing hand towels, made racist comments, they also made us clean the towel to show them that the makeup stain can be removed and if that wasn’t enough, they the asked us to clean all the towels and remove smudges of makeup stain! The person at the desk had no etiquette or any sense of decency. Worst service of my entire life.

Clean hotel with good AC. Walking distance to Karon beach and markets. On a quieter street which is awesome for getting a good rest. Roof top pool is beautiful and quiet most days. Only con is the 1000 baht deposit that is required. Prior to checking out they went up and inspected our room. One towel had a small amount of sand/dirt on it and the staff brought it down to show us and said we would not be getting our deposit back. After going with them to a sink and showing them that the sand/dirt simply washes off the towel they gave us our full deposit back.

For such a low price, a very good hotel with everything you need and a good location. The room is in good condition. Beach towels are provided. There is a swimming pool on the 6th floor with a great view. We didn't try the breakfasts. We took a small deposit upon check-in.

A very well located hotel in a dead end street 50 meters from Karon beach. It's very clean, comfortable, at a fair price for the area, and with really friendly reception staff. A roof top with swimming pool for breakfast (which could be better...) but overall a good address.

1. The worst breakfasts. 2. Very small room. I'm attaching a photo of the toilet, there's really nowhere to turn. 3. They clean extremely rarely!!!! Plus it's location! There are no other advantages in this hotel! Complete mismatch between price and quality. Even three stars is too much for this hotel. There is a three-ruble ruble very close by, it’s really much better there!

Good hotel. Located on the 1st coastline. 3 minutes to the sea. Very comfortably. Lots of cafes and restaurants. We had a room with a view of the back of Buddha and the mountains, a wasteland. In my opinion this is the best option, calmly. The staff is friendly. Rooms are cleaned every day. Breakfast is varied, but you won't leave hungry. There is a swimming pool with hydromassage, great for refreshing after the sea. Of the minuses. There is no shampoo, shower gel or toothpaste in the rooms. They only provide soap and cotton swabs. And the individual guide was disappointing. No useful information. He spoke about the excursion in a chaotic manner and did not understand anything. As a result, we ordered the wrong excursion at all.
