Booked pavilion deluxe sea view for 7 nights, however we left hotel after staying 5 hours.
1. There are septic tanks under each room, so ofc it smells literally ****, even water in shower smells poo, hence body after shower too.
2. Swimming pool is disaster, hasn't been cleaned for months. Water, walls, floor of the pool became yellow. The floor was even slippery due to decent layer of dirt.
3. There was noisy construction
4. Due to construction the beach area and the sea was full of plastic bottles, bags, other garbage.
5. Breakfast was kinda ok but poor selection
6. Hotel's territory is not well maintained, same issue as on the beach, plastic bottles, wrappers, other garbage everywhere.
Thanks to Trip for helping us get refund though for our non-refundable room

A great place for a secluded quiet holiday. Also has its own snorkeling spot with free masks, its own beach and its own geckos at night :)

Everything is great!
Your own private beach, complete unity with nature. Good snorkeling.
Excellent staff. I contacted them with any questions during the day
There is a transfer to the beach and 7-11. The main thing is to book in advance.
A good restaurant at the hotel, normal breakfasts, reasonable prices for lunches and dinners.
Nice rooms. We took a terrace with a view of the garden + sea.
I will be happy to come back and recommend it to others ❤️

The hotel has a great location. The rooms are all single-family cabins, but they are small in size. The basic rooms are built on the mountain, and the view is not very good. You have to pay extra for a good view.
In addition, a hotel is being built next to the hotel, which greatly affects the viewing experience.
Their sheets are seriously stained

Very large beautiful green area. The houses are located practically in the forest on a dead-end road - no strangers pass by. This adds privacy and seclusion to your holiday.
A free shuttle runs from the hotel to a small store and Nai Harn Beach several times a day. Or you can walk for about 15-20 minutes. Plus, there is a restaurant on the hotel grounds with reasonable prices and delicious food.
A 15-minute walk from Nai Harn Beach is the Papaya store with Russian salads, cottage cheese, sour cream, desserts and even red caviar. Nearby is a restaurant serving delicious cheesecakes and salmon with vegetables.
When we didn't want to walk, we called a taxi through the InDrive app. This is an analogue of our Yandex taxi. Very accessible and convenient. I definitely recommend meeting the sunset at Promthep Cape.
I consider the private clean beach to be a big plus of the hotel. It is beautiful and you can swim surrounded by 1-2 people instead of a bunch of people in a small enclosure on Nai Harn. Plus there are free sun loungers, beach towels are brought right to your room.
The beach is sandy, but in some places there are corals on the bottom. I recommend taking coral slippers with you, swimming without them I slightly cut my toe. You can also swim with a mask.
Since the hotel is in the forest, there are mosquitoes. Mosquito spray is given out for free, but it somehow did not always work.
On one side of the hotel, new houses are being built. Therefore, ask for rooms away from the construction.
The houses themselves are not new, but colorful. When checking in, there was a musty smell either from the curtains or from the furniture. But then the smell became barely noticeable and did not bother us much.
We stayed in the Pavilion room. This is essentially a private villa with one room and floor-to-ceiling windows. We were given the last room, there were no neighbors nearby, so we slept with the curtains open. We really enjoyed waking up in the morning to the sounds of the surf and birds singing with a panoramic view of the jungle and a piece of the sea.

Super cool 👍
The hotel is in the jungle, consists of separate bungalows and 3 two-story buildings, we booked a regular room (deluxe pavilion) it seems! They gave me a room in a 2-story building on the second floor, the room was great, the bathroom was great, a huge terrace with comfortable chairs, a super beautiful view right from the bed (of the jungle and the sea), we were delighted, we didn’t want to go anywhere😬 the area is very beautiful and incredibly green , OWN private private beach 🏝️, no people, peace and quiet ☺️
The staff is friendly and very pleasant, cleaning every day, good breakfast👌
We were on a moped, we didn’t go outside the territory on foot, to 7/11 - 5 minutes by moped, to Nain Harn (where we watched the sunsets) -2-3 minutes by moped, to Nui beach 15 minutes! 15-20 minutes to kata!
Overall, I really liked it, probably taking into account the fact that we were mobile 🏍️ in general, the hotel is for those who want silence, nature and peace 🤤 I highly recommend it 👍

A decent hotel, but you can only get there by car, the road is terrible, in one lane, if anything, do not part. It's a long way to go to good beaches.

A wonderful quiet place, of which there are so few in Phuket. The road to the hotel itself is mountainous and not very smooth. Everything else is great. Awesome beach, especially if you snorkel. Unexpectedly bright and multiple underwater world. We lived in a villa near the jungle, the sounds of fire at night))

+ There is a private beach on the territory which is rare for Phuket; + The territory itself is very beautiful and great if you wanna lounge amongst the trees; + Very private - you will not hear any street/city noise on the territory; + While meal selection is not the greatest, it is still decent and you will not be hungry in the morning (however, please ask the person making the eggs to cook them longer - we got half-raw omelette several times); + There is tuk-tuk to Nai Harn beach and the closest 7/11 several times a day. - Be prepared for the 2 hour ride from the Phuket airport - we were not; - This is not the place for you if you are a first-time traveler. The hotel is too far away from the city or any other popular spots. The taxi from and to the hotel will cost you a lot; - The rooms are old and you will notice that; - Room cleaning services are not great - if you are used to hotels doing wet cleaning, then it's not for you; - Hotel stuff, while very pleasant to talk to, is very slow when it comes to taking requests. We asked for new slippers on day 2 and did not get them (we stayed for 7 nights); - A lot of stairs. While we did not have any problems, it might cause problems to families with small children and/or elderly people.

I booked Baan Krating to have a peaceful stay for 2 nights to recover from the long trip to Thailand & to see what the Rawai area would be like for future visits. While the accommodation is of a high quality, spacious & comfortable with beautiful ocean views, the resort is too isolated. The road to get there is narrow with construction going on & as such we had to make use of taxis to get anywhere & the charges were the highest I have ever paid - 1400THB to go for dinner & back to a restaurant 5km away. No responses from In Drive & I presume that was because of where the resort is situated. The breakfasts are mediocre & service at the restaurant non existent. The staff in general speak very little English & when we reported that the coffee cups & glasses used in the room had not been cleaned it took 3 different staff members arriving before someone could get an idea of what our complaint was. The main reason I would never book this resort again is that we had close encounters with snakes twice in 2 days. Yes, the resort is surrounded by lush forest but having a cobra on the walkway to the room, which is not well lit at night & some sort of giant constrictor in the garden near our room does not make for a peaceful stay
