The Frangipani Royal Palace Hotel Reviews

This is a great classic hotel. There are really only two room on each floor that has the view of palace and rivet. I stayed in 503 and view spectacular. On Cambodia standards the rooms are great, western its a 3 at best. Staff are awesome 100%. Pool is good but few loungers and people camp out all day on them. So shade is a premium. This could easily be a four star with some updates. After two months in Cambodia my 8 day stay at the Frangipani was awesome.

The location of this hotel is beyond perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful due to the gorgeous historic building. Sadly the air con is not quite what the climate requires. The rooftop pool is glorious. I was told the day I arrived it was shut for two days, but when I went up people were swimming in it… in the end I went in the pool every day and loved it. The rooftop bar is also excellent, with decent (thought not amazing) food and drinks. The worst thing about the hotel was the breakfast. Shockingly poor. They probably don’t have the guest numbers to support a full buffet - so they should do a part buffet part a la carte breakfast… but they don’t… they attempt to do a full buffet but it is terrible. Truly terrible. For vegetarians it’s even worse than terrible. Nevertheless, due to the gorgeous hotel, amazing roof pool/bar, and the unbeatable location, I would definitely consider returning.

At best an average 3* , certainly not a 4*. Rooms are clean but in need of redecorating. Breakfast was dissapointing . Most of the food that was supposed to be hot was cold or warm at best. Staff were friendly-ish but Senior management tried to ignore your presence. Not one I will be going back to anytime soon.

The overall value for money, including the hotel's location and breakfast, was good. However, the only thing that was disappointing was the size of the room and the somewhat low water pressure in the bathroom. This was my third visit to Phnom Penh, and I liked the convenience of being able to walk around the area since it was near the Grand Palace.

The location of the hotel is very advantageous. It is a 3-minute walk from the National Museum and a 7-8 minute walk from the Royal Palace. There is a small supermarket next to it, which is very convenient. There are tuktuk buses at the door at all times. You can see the panoramic view of the Royal Palace from the rooftop.

Convenient transportation, but the room is a little small.

Location: Very close to Huainan Station, about two or three minutes away. You can see the big signboard of the hotel when you come out of the train station. It's easy to find Hygiene: clean and tidy, nothing fussy Service: The ladies at the front desk are very warm and thoughtful, 609 is very good Facilities: This room has a very high ceiling, so it doesn't feel oppressive. After all, I only stayed for one night, so it won't make people feel too stuffy; the facilities in the room are quite new, especially the shower is powerful, the hot water is plentiful, and the shower is very comfortable. warm and nice What deserves to be praised is the sound insulation. With the windows closed, you can hardly hear the sound outside the window, which is good...

Apart from the location, nothing special.
